Chapter 3: Chapter 3 : Monsters
Konoha, 21st Forest training ground
Four years had passed since Tatsuya's birth. On a sunny day in a forest, sounds of kunais colliding with each other could be heard. There were two kids training shurikenjutsu. It was the art of throwing shurikens and kunais. The kids were Tatsuya and Itachi.
Itachi was born nineteen days after Tatsuya. Both were considered as geniuses. A year after their birth, they could walk and not long after, they began talking. As their mothers were best friends, Tatsuya and Itachi became close since the beginning. They were like brothers.
They also had the same personalities. Calm and mature. They always played together, trained together and when they wanted to read or learn their own things, they did it in the same room.
Tatsuya was a 3.2 feet tall boy. He had short black hair, light blue eyes that gave the illusion of looking to the sky. He wore black shorts, black sandals and a comfortable white t-shirt with the symbol of the Uzumaki clan on his back.
Itachi was a little smaller, 3 feet to be precise. He had long black hair and the typical black eyes of Uchihas. He also wore black pants and sandals however, he had a large dark blue t-shirt with the Uchiha's symbol on his back.
The two kids had the same unyielding stoic countenance that made them look mysterious. But when they were together, they both always smiled and laughed.

- Hey Tatsuya, do you think there's life after death ?
- Humm dunno, I never thought of that, maybe, why ?
- Then if I ever kill someone... It wouldn't be that bad, right ?
- Are you scared of taking a life ? Is it because of the discussion you had with your father ?
- I don't know. If there is life after death, then what is the meaning of life itself ? And yes, he wants me to go to the battlefield to have experience of war…

A lot of things happened during those four years.
Sakumo returned to Konoha a year after they were born but without any information of Ryota.
The Third Shinobi War began, Kakashi was promoted to jonin, Obito Uchiha, his teammate 'died' . His last wish was to give Kakashi one of his sharingan.
« So you were here, as usual » said a shinobi who appeared behind Tatsuya and Itachi.
« Greetings Seiken-sensei ! » The two kids said at the same time.
«
- (Itachi) – How did you appear like that ? Is that a jutsu ? Could you teach it to us ?
-(Seiken) – It is called the Body Flicker Technique my boy. You have to use your chakra on your legs. You can travel from short to long distance depending on the quantity of the chakra you use. In general, we use a smoke before we flicker away to disguise our move. In my case I use white doves. There is an Uchiha boy who is quite talented with this technique, he uses black crows…
Tatsuya and Itachi's eyes started to shine, giving the illusion of stars in their eyes. They loved learning new techniques.
When they began their training, they did it alone because they wanted to do it in secret. What they didn't know was that Saki and Mikoto knew what their sons were doing. They asked one of their trusted friend Uchiha Seiken, to watch them.
This one was not always available but when he could, he took a great moment to watch the kids. They were two geniuses with unlimited talent. They were able to correct themselves. One day, when he thought they were ready, decided to teach them how to use chakra. That day, he became their sensei.
« Itachi, do you know what am I thinking ? » asked Tatsuya to his friend.
« Yeah, the loser will do the chores » responded Itachi with a serious face.
« Hey kids, you will not be able to do that, you still lack chakra contro-... » said Seiken but when he was about to finish, the little boys flickered from a tree to another as if they were experts of this technique.
« Hey not fair Itachi, you rushed before me !! » shouted Tatsuya,
« Not my fault if you took too much time to put chakra on your legs. And watch, I even got further than you eheh ! » said the uchiha boy,
« C'mon let's try again ! Or not, let's do a mathematic quiz ! » proposed Tatsuya
« Nah, don't want, that's my win you loser » said Itachi with a smile on his lips.
'There are just monsters…' said Seiken to himself. « That's enough kids, we should leave, Itachi has to do something tomorrow with Fugaku-sama, he needs to rest this afternoon. Let's lunch ».
Tatsuya, Itachi and Seiken went to Seiken's house. It was a modest appartement. The entrance door directly leads to the living room. On the left, there was an open-plan kitchen. There were a lot of spaces in this room. There were two sofas placed perpendicularly to form an angle. On those sofas, there were many people. There were Uchiha Fugaku and Mikoto, Namikaze Minato and Kushina, and Hatake Sakumo. Kakashi, Saki and Kado Hana, the wife of Seiken, were preparing lunch in the kitchen.
Fugaku was the patriarch of the Uchiha clan. He was a proud man that led his clan. He was a strict leader but tried as much as he could to be a good father. He didn't have a lot of time to teach or play with Itachi so he supported his son to 'play' with Tatsuya, the other genius.
Just before the trio entered, Kushina and Mikoto shouted « BATHROOM NOW ! ». Without a word, Tatsuya and Itachi headed to the bathroom and had a shower.
Meanwhile, the adults had a discussion.
«
- (Minato) – So tomorrow is the day…
- (Mikoto) – Please be safe… I know you're all strong but I can't help but worry. And Fugaku, are you sure Itachi has to come with you ? I mean he's just four…
- (Fugaku) – He's the successor of the Leader of the clan. He has to know what War is. Don't worry i'll protect him.
- (Seiken) – Well nobody will touch him, I mean he just learnt the Body Flicker Technique today, and it was a first time try ahahah…
- (Fugaku) – What do you mean, does he already know how to use chakra ?
Mikoto and Saki chuckled hearing Fugaku.
- (Saki) – Well they like to 'play' together, also, Tatsuya knows how to do it to.
- (Minato) – Wait. Did you let them outside without monitoring them ? They're just kids !
- (Seiken) – No. They are monsters…
A deafening silence took place in the living room.
Mikoto, seeing this scene, decided to break the silence.
- (Mikoto) – I'm pregnant.
- (Hana) – Me too.
Another deafening silence took place in the living room.
- (Minato) – Shouldn't we also make a child Kushina ?
The last one hit her husband with her elbow and touched Minato's stomach. He flew on the floor with a surprise look on his face.
- (Sakumo) – AHAH well he's not wrong, I'm sure it will be a generation of miracles… If Tatsuya or Itachi got a sister or a brother, they wil-… »
A kid rushed into the living room. Another one was behind with a bath towel around his neck.
« I WILL BE A BIG BROTHER??! » Itachi shouted with stars in his eyes.
« So you can have this kind of face sometimes » her mother Mikoto kindly said.
Itachi looked away while scratching his left chuckle.
Kushina took a photo of this scene. It was a beautiful day.

Hello there, author here. Hope you guys go well.
I know those last 3 chapters were filled with much information. I wanted to do it with the strict minimum, that's why I didn't talk about the situation of the war.
I just talked about the characters because they will all play a major role in this fanfic.
Also, I know the timeline is not respected but I tried my best to be as most as consistent as possible. For example, Kakashi became chunin at the age of 6-7 and was supposed to be junin 4 year after (the battle of Kannabi Bridge). But it is said that he became junin at 13, breaking the record.
Moreover, I made Fugaku an honest man. He is just too proud to be an uchiha and his job takes all of his time so he can only spend a little time with his family.
