Chapter 4: Chapter 4 : Ninjutsu
Konoha, Tatsuya's house.
It was a heavy day. The pouring rain gave a feeling of sadness and lonliness in this village. 8 months had passed since the family's meeting. During that time, the third shinobi world war ended. Konoha emerged victorious but at what cost ? Thousands and thousands died during these two years.
Tatsuya prepared himself with a stoic expression. He wore black clothes for this day. Saki, Tatsuya's mother helped Hana to get ready. Hana had dark circles under her eyes as if she didn't sleep last night but just cried. She did not have the strenght to walk alone. We could see that her pregnancy was at an advanced stage.
Uchiha Seiken died.
Tatsuya still did not realise what was to lose a relative. Of course he was sad because Seiken was Itachi's and his teacher. Their parents were close.
Saki on the other hand, already knew the sentiment of grief and sorrow you pass through when you lose the one you love.
They took two umbrella and left their house.
They reached the meeting point where Fugaku, Mikoto, Sakumo, Kakashi, Minato and Kushina were waiting for them.
Kakashi and Minato were devasted. Uchiha Obito died protecting Kakashi and Nohara Rin. It was Obito that gave his sharingan to the grey hair boy.
Rin was the center of the plan to destruct Konoha by Kirigakure's shinobi. They made her the Jinchuriki of the three tails Beast. To not let Konoha beeing destroyed,
They did not talk nor nod. They just walk to the funeral letting the silence to sing its melody.
They went to the memorial stop located in the Konoha Cimetery. There were almost all the people in the village gathered in one place.
A little time after, Sarutobi Hiruzen, the current Hogake began his speech.
« We're gathered here to honour the accomplishment our people did to protect our village. It is thanks to these shinobis that we can leave another day peacefully. They are the heroes. They all wore the Will of Fire in them. It is thanks to them that the hopes and dreams of the previous generation are passed to the next. We will cry today, but tomorrow we will be proud of them and smile at their accomplishment... »
The 3rd Hogake continued his long speech with the sound of the rain behind him.

The evening, in the 21st training ground. The rain had calmed down and the rays of sunset began to cover the village. Two kids were sitting on a rock with their specific unyielding stoic faces.

- Hey Tatsuya, why does war occur ?
- Because some parties are not satisfied with what they already have. Humans are like that. They always want what they don't have but when the other parties have those goods, they want to steal it.
- But at what price ? Does a life is worth than a good ?
- Do you finally want to talk about what you saw at the last war ?

- Sometimes, those goods are primordial. Take Sunagakure for example. This village is in a middle of desert. They lack of water, food, plants for medecine and other things.
- But they could not just ask other villages to give them those goods ?
- These villages will ask money.
- moment of silence -
- (Itachi) – I witnessed the cruality of the war. You said the last time that people kill to protect the ones we love. But if no one fight, there will be no death, no ?
- You're right. But some don't think like you. They're not afraid of loosing so they keep fighting. You know, when the first Hokage Senju Hashimara and Uchiha Madara were alive, no one had the courrage to make a fight with Konoha. They were considered has god.
- another moment of silence -
- (Itachi) – So we have to be strong enough end those wars ?
- I guess that's the right choice.

They had determination on their eyes. They left back home knowing from tomorrow, they will train everyday. The two kids are only 5 but had already realised what is the cruelity of this world.

The next day, Tatsuya woke up at 6 a.m. He had a shower, had a breakfast and left his house thirty minutes after. At 6.45 a.m. he was in front of the Uchiha quarter. Itachi was already here. They then headed to their favourite training ground.
A talent is a capacity that let you comprehend easly an area. It let you learn faster than an average person. Of course, if you still have to train to polish this area where you're good at. If not, the average person might be able to surpass you.
A genius is a talented person that can analyse to the root the domain he's good at.
Itachi and Tatsuya were geniuses. While Itachi was good at taijutsu, endurance, shurikenjutsu for the moment, Tatsuya was good at the theory behind them, mathematics, logics. Everything was easy for him he didn't know why.
When they arrived in the forest, Tatsuya took out a scroll.
« My mother gave me this yesterday when I told her we were going to train everyday. She still can't help us because aunty Hana is still in depression. It is the theory behind the hand signs. I already read it yesterday » said Tatsuya. He explained :
« Chakra can be transformed into five elements : Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Lightning. It is said that Fire is for long distance attacks. It is strong against wind but is bad against water.
Water is mostly for protection or defensive purpose. It is strong against fire but is countered by earth.
Earth can be used to attack and defend by mostly changing the environement. It is good against water but bad against lightning.
Lightning is made to mid-long range attacks. It can also make weapons more lethal. It is strong against earth but bad against wind.
Lastly, Wind is for mid-long range attacks. Adding it to weapons makes them cut anything in its path. It is good against lightning but bad against fire ».
Seeing Itachi nodded, he continued : « Those five elements that impact our chakra are known as Releases. For example, Fire release is the way to transform chakra to fire. Listen carefully because this is the most interesting part. For each releases, an specific hand-sign must be made. The more advanced the ninjutsu, the more times the hand-sign is likely to appear.
Hearing this, Itachi frowned. « How are we supposed to know the order of hand-signs to make a jutsu ? » He asked.
« I don't know for the moment. What I know is that some hand-seals are used to make the shape of the jutsu like Dragon that can make the jutsu, as the name says, a form of a dragon. Some are necessary to specific jutsu. Such as Boar, for the summoning jutsu, or Horse to to dispel genjutsu. »
Tatsuya sighed and said « We should not bother too much with this. Let's train and we will ask uncle Sakumo at noon ».
For the next five hours, they did their basic training such as push ups, squats, running, shurikenjutsu and spars. They didn't forget to train the Body Flicker Technique Seiken-sensei tought them. They could travel more distance the more they trained. They also discovered how to walk on walls and water by putting chakra on their feet. It was really hard at the beginning because it needed an advanced control over chakra, and it consumed a lot of energy.
At noon, they ate at Hana's house. There were Sakumo, Mikoto, Saki and of course Hana. Unfortunatly, after a long periode of war, patriarches from different clans, like Fugaku, were too busy. They had to deal with the consequences of war. Minato also was not here. He had the same tasks as Fugaku as he was promoted to become the next Hokage.
When they began to eat, Tatsuya asks to Sakumo :
« What are the conditions to create a jutsu ? How do we know which hand-signs we have to do ? »
The four adults were chocked. Mikoto even let fall her chopsticks unconsciously.
« Aren't you too young to think of those kind of things ? » asked Saki breaking the silence.
«
- (Sakumo) - Saki is right. We know you are both intelligent but it is too early for you to create a jutsu. To begin, you should learn as much jutsus as you could, even the elements you don't have affinity for.
- (Itachi) – How are we supposed to know our affinities ?
- (Sakumo) – An individual's affinity can be learnt by using chakra papers. The funny part is that with enough control over your affinity, you can develop your chakra manipulation into what we call Nature Transformation. You will be able to use your element at will but it takes years and years of training.

The kids could not say anything with all those informations. They realised how far their goals wre.

I know it is also another chapter with a lot of informations but I still wanted to do it.
From the next chapters, things will speed up. Tatsuya and Itachi will be enrolled into the academy and the rookie 9 will be born.
