Chapter 75: Damien Smith

After noticing my uncomfortable gaze, Damien gave me a reassuring smile and said in a soft tone, "Don't worry. The reason why there's nobody here is because all of the staff is still preparing for group activities elsewhere. As I was only assigned with setting up the tables at the canteen, I currently have no more work to do. The teachers should be coming in about an hour for their breakfast. In the meantime, let's enjoy ourselves, shall we?"

Damien placed the napkin that was placed on top of the porcelain plate down on his lap. He folded the napkin into a triangle professionally, as if he was used to doing this all the time. I did the same in a swift manner.

Damien seemed eager to start a conversation with me and asked courteously, "So, Hunter. Do you have any experience in boxing?"

"Yes. I have practiced boxing for 2 years when I was young." I replied curtly and bluntly, obviously showing my displeasure at Damien.
