Chapter 8: 8

The next day, Hisato wearily woke up. He confusedly looked around. The last thing he remembered was falling asleep inside the training area. How come he is inside his room then? He pondered for a few seconds before coming to the conclusion that he had been carried here.

A small smile filled with gratitude formed on his face. Suddenly, a small furred creature entered Hisato's vision. It extended it's paw and placed it onto his nose. A meow exited it's mouth.

"Good morning to you too, Kuro." He sluggishly said while smiling as he slowly began to pet him.

While Hisato was playing with Kuro, the door of his room opened. Zen walked inside. He quietly chuckled before attempting to get Hisato's attention. "Yo!"

Looking over, Hisato saw Zen and was a little shocked. He didn't understand how they always appeared so abruptly. Although he was able to do such things too back in the dimension.

"Hehe, Hisato, didn't you say you don't want to go to a hero school?" A mischievous grin appeared on Zen's face.

He and Amera had fully prepared the plan and had already begun to take action. The plan was rather simple. Hisato would accidentally activate his ability which then causes them to get stuck inside the dimension.

… that was the plan. It was a stupid plan. They knew it was, but they honestly couldn't care less.

Hisato slowly nodded in response. "Good. Sooo, Amera and I were thinking. What if you "accidentally" used your ability which then caused us to get stuck inside the dimension. This way you can escape the order which the higher ups gave. So, what do you think?" (Oh yes this is big brain time)

Hisato was quite surprised. Although he had considered this already, he chose to discard the idea since he could be stuck again, but now Zen came up with the same idea.

The only difference was that Hisato intended to go alone while Zen on the other hand proposed that he and Amera would come along. Hisato began to ponder, going together with Zen and Amera would be more fun since he wouldn't be alone. If he went alone, he would only have Kuro and no one else. Of course he was used to it since he spent 10 years alone. Being with others there would certainly be nice, and he wouldn't have to go to school.

(Changed it to 10 years to make him 14. This way it works better. Originally he was 15, but I changed it to 14. Please tell me if I forgot to change one of these shit in previous chaps.)

After a few seconds, Hisato responded, "Okay, let's do that." For some reason, Hisato felt like he was going home. It was a weird feeling since that place was basically hell, but he still felt like he belonged there.

Suddenly, Amera appeared out of nowhere. She happily cheered, "Alrighty! Let's GO!" Her melons jiggled a little. She seemed happier than normal…

She urged Hisato to open the portal. Her face was filled with excitement and she seemed like a completely different person.

As Hisato listened to her, He slowly nodded. He was a little suspicious about her weird behaviour, but let it slip. Even though Amera wanted to go right now, Hisato had his own priorities. "I want to buy snacks first." He leisurely said. A few days back, Zen gave him a couple of snacks, and ever since he only wanted more and more.

"Alright then, let's go and get your snacks right now!" Amera smiled before grabbing Hisato and disappearing from the spot.

Seeing this, Zen could only awkwardly laugh and wonder why Amera was so excited…

Amera and Hisato appeared in front of a certain shop. He was quite bewildered by the sudden action, but quickly regained his composition.

The moment they arrived they entered and Hisato happily grabbed a few boxes filled with cookies. He walked up to the cash desk and placed the boxes on it. He innocently looked at Amera who took out a wallet and paid for it. The entire process took around one minute, and before they knew it they were already back at Hisato's room.

Amera once again enthusiastically said, "Can we go now?" It was really weird how she was so excited. It was as if a demon had possessed her. Only that the demon was actually nice.

Hearing her enthusiasm, Hisato sluggishly nodded and activated his ability.

At that exact moment, the surroundings began to turn grey and abruptly spin. It caused a weird nauseous effect.

Suddenly a blue vortex formed above them and spontaneously began to pull Hisato into it. He began to float and the distance between the vortex and Hisato closed in.

While Hisato was getting pulled towards the vortex, Amera and Zen seemed to get pushed back. It was like the vortex resented them. The vortex's repelling power began to slowly increase. Zen tried to launch himself forward, but instead got sent flying against a wall. Out of nowhere, he felt his power getting drained by an unknown force and he fell unconscious. The force which was pushing them away, rapidly increased in strength and caused the floor to crack.

Abruptly, the vortex began to expand and envelop Hisato in order to fasten the process. Amera looked at Hisato before manipulating her velocity to great extent, shifting over to Hisato and grabbing his wrist in an attempt to pull him out. She suddenly came to the realisation that Hisato had actually lost control and thus caused the vortex to go berserk instead of acting like it did.

She tried to shift out of the vortex, yet for some reason, was unsuccessful. Suddenly a black fur ball began to float next to Hisato and her. This was obviously Kuro.

A loud explosion like sound exited the vortex and immediately after, Hisato, Amera and Kuro were sucked in, The vortex stopped pushing everything away and imploded. The room was empty leaving nothing behind...
