Chapter 6: 6

1 week had passed since Hisato arrived in the real world and met Zen and co.

He had been living a rather simple life. He spent most of his time sleeping and if he went outside he would do so for food. Hisato often visited Hideaki's restaurant and enjoyed meals to his fullest. Zen always accompanied him which Hisato didn't really mind since Zen was a nice guy. The old man, Jiro, was placed under house arrest by the higher ups and Zen laughed at him for quite some time. Hisato also found it funny since Jiro was an adult.

Right now, Hisato was quietly reading a book in his room. The book was written in English. It was called 'Chronicles of the One'. It was made by New York Times bestselling author, Nora Roberts. He quite enjoyed the book. It started with a disease which later on led to strange phenomena happening and people obtained supernatural powers.

Suddenly, the door opened and Zen walked in. He wore his usual military outfit and he looked a little depressed. "Hisato, I want you to meet someone." He had a sorry expression on his face which gave Hisato an uneasy expression.

Then out of nowhere, a woman appeared in front of him. He looked at the woman in confusion as he hadn't expected her to appear so sudden.

She was dressed in a custom military outfit which opted for a mini skirt instead of pants and black cape with crimson insides. A leather stocking reached the lower area of her voluptuous thighs. Her blue eyes with silver freckles paired with her seemingly neutral expression exhibited a natural coldness. The military cap resting on her long blonde hair had an insignia marked on the front.

Her cold gaze fell onto Hisato. "So you are the kid who fell out of that vortex?"

Even under the cold and intimidating gaze of the woman, Hisato seemed completely unaffected and he simply nodded in response.

Suddenly, Amera appeared next to him. She began to hug him tightly and squealed. Her entire demeanor changed. Her cold and intimidating aura had disappeared altogether. "Poor kid. You suffered so much despite being so young. It's alright now." She caressed his hair in a calm manner. "If darling did anything bad to you, you can always tell me. I will punish him for you then."

Hisato looked at Amera. His face was filled with innocence. "Who are you?" He tilted his head in order to look at her.

"Oh ye! I forgot to introduce myself, I am Amera Samuru. This idiot's wife." Pointing towards Zen who was nervously standing next to them. She released Hisato from her embrace, before ruffling through his hair.

Hisato looked at Zen in a stupified manner. "I didn't expect you to have a wife." He bluntly stated.

Zen clicked his tongue in annoyance "Why can't I have a wife?"

"Because you are too rude." These words were like daggers hitting Zen. Normally he wouldn't have cared about these words, but right now. It will lead to his demise.

"Ooh? What do you mean rude?" Amera asked. She looked rather calm, but Hisato could easily tell that a storm was brewing. What had he just done? He looked at Zen who was nervously sweating.

Hisato knew he had just brought doom upon Zen. He hastily tried to explain it. "U-uh I mean he always teases and mocks old man Jiro and old man Hideaki."

Hearing this, Amera calmed down and clapped her hands together, "So that's what you mean. That's fine though, those old farts are always fun to annoy."

"Babe, I forgot to ask but how come you are here? Weren't you on a mission given by the Spectre?" Zen quickly changed the subject.

"I finished my mission early and decided to visit you. I wanted to have a fight with the old fart, but heard he was under house arrest again. I coincidentally heard about this brat here and now I am here. Oh! Since I can't fight the old fart, do you want to fight me?"she cheerfully exclaimed.

The moment Zen heard those words. He shut down. This is what he had feared the most; having to fight his wife.

He had fought her numerous times in the past, but all ended in a miserable defeat. He was able to hang on for several minutes against her, which was quite an exceptional feat. Most people wouldn't even last a single minute.

Unfortunately for him, he wasn't able to escape from this and had no other choice but to agree. "Sure, want to fight right now?" If he had to fight he would rather have it now than later.

"Of course! Hiso-kun! You will definitely watch right?" Her enthusiasm was frightening… Hisato looked at her and frowned. Since when was his name Hiso-kun? Is it a nickname? Those were his current thoughts. He didn't really care though since it was just a name.

He nodded in response and stood up and immediately after, Kuro jumped onto his shoulders . They left the room and went to a fortified battleground.

It didn't take long for them to reach a large open space. The walls were made of a black metal and seemed sturdier than the walls outside of the space. There were linings on the floor in a rectangular shape.

At the side were a few benche Hisato sat down on one of them. He had been quite curious about the combat capabilities of Zen and now was the opportunity to see it.

Amera took off her cape and began walking to one side of the linings. Zen went to the opposite side and began to stretch a little. The linings began to glow a bright blue colour and the ground within them turned blue. A hologram like wall appeared which isolated Zen and Amera from the outside.

They looked each other in the eyes when suddenly a large sum of guns in all shapes and sizes appeared in mid air.

Instantaneously, bullets began to rain down upon Amera. She quickly responded by flexing her fingers causing the bullets to stop in their track. Immediately after that, they turned around and began soaring towards Zen.

Zen quickly jumped away using the boots and materialized a futuristic looking weapon. He aimed it at Amera and fired it. A blue laser beam shot out and dashed towards Amera. Amera's speed suddenly increased and she disappeared from the spot, dodging the laser in the process.

She reappeared besides Zen and launched a roundhouse kick. Zen summoned a gun at his side in an attempt to block the kick. It resulted in the gun having a large dent. Broken parts flew through the air and the gun landed on the ground and shattered into pieces.

Zen heaved a sigh before materializing a dozen futuristic laser guns. They spontaneously began to shoot lasers directed at Amera. Amera's speed increased again and she began to dodge the lasers one for one. She locked her eyes onto Zen who had suddenly seized to move.

Amera began to dash over to Zen to which Zen responded by creating a large barricade of guns which continuously shot all sorts of ammunition at her.

The bullets had been easily stopped by her while she effortlessly dodged the lasers. It seemed like a one sided fight. Amera began to close the distance between them and made a sudden dash towards Zen. Within an instant a foot entered Zen's stomach which caused him to fly backwards. He groaned a little as his boots began to gather air and compress it into a small space, before releasing it all, causing Zen to shoot forward. He immediately doubled the amount of guns which all began to fire at Amera.

Suddenly, all the bullets and guns stopped moving. Within the blink of an eye, all the guns had been destroyed and the bullets dropped like flies to ground.

Zen inwardly cursed as he knew he was finished now.

The next moment he was floored. Amera stood above him and cheerily smiled. "I won."

Just like Zen had expected, it was completely one sided. Although he wasn't able to use all of his cards, he would lose even if he did. He still felt like she was going easy on him.

Just what did he do to deserve a woman like her…

Hisato, who had been sitting on the sidelines, had enjoyed the fight. Zen showed a lot of destructive power while Amera showed less destructive powers yet extremely efficient ones.

The blue barrier disappeared and both of them walked out. A couple of employees entered the room and seemingly began to repair it. There was a certain employee who accompanied the rest. Unlike the others, he walked over to Zen and whispered something into his ears before handing him a report.

Zen took the report and began to read it.

"It seems the higher ups have finally responded."
