Yun Mo tried to dial Ye Weiyi's number, but all he got was the familiar tone of a powered-off phone, causing him to lift his head somberly.
He looked at Shu Run who sat before him on the couch, "I can't trust anyone else with this. Put whatever it is you're dealing with on hold."
"But Sir Yun, the matter I'm handling..."
Yun Mo cut him off, "I don't want to say it twice."
"..." Alright, Mr. Yun was in a bad mood today, Shu Run fell silent for the moment.
"If nothing's up, you can leave." Yun Mo sighed heavily.
Shu Run had been with Yun Mo for many years and knew his temper, so he wasn't bothered by his harsh tone.
Looking at the lunch box on the table, he asked concernedly, "Mr. Yun, I specifically brought you your favorite cheesy mashed potatoes. Eat a bit, at least."
"Thank you."
"Then I'll leave first."
All Shu Run did after work was to call Ye Weiyi.
But Ye Weiyi's phone remained off.
Almost everyone at the company had left.
