Chapter 9: Chapter Nine
Cleo POV
I arrive to the mansion in record time.Rushing inside all the guards where giving me wired looks which I just brushed them off.
Running in I see Scarlett and Lucas snuggling on the couch watching a movie and I start cringing.
I run for his office door opening it without knocking to see no one there.I head over to his room.When inside I look into the room to see Jason sitted at the edge of the bed hands covering his face.
I call out his name and he looks up.When his eyes meet mine they turn a darker shade. He starts walking over to me very slowly like as if I'm his prey.

"What are you doing" i ask taking a step back.
"I've been having a little problem" he says as he takes a step forward.The smirk never leaving his face.Clearly enjoying the game.
I take another step back hitting the door and I curse at myself because there is no escape now."And what might that be Mr King" I shakily ask due to our close proximity.not even recognizing my own voice.
He leans in and starts leaving light kisses on my neck.I fight really hard in hiding the fact that I'm enjoying this.Now more than ever I want this man to take me.
"How you never seem to leave my mind Miss Mandez" he groggily answers pinning my hands above my head.
Before I even have the chance to reply he smashes his lips into mine.And I don't hesitate kissing him back.We fight for dominance and obviously he wins.
And the kiss wasn't out of lust like the other ones we've had.This one was filled with passion and desire.
He asks for entrance which I cheekily deny and he squeezes my behind and I gasp.He quickly shoves his tongue in.I grab a fistful of his hair pulling it gently.And he groans really enjoying it.I can even feel his hard member in full attention.
He carries me to the bed and takes off his shirt.He looks down at my attire and his eyes start clouding with desire."the guards have been looking at you dressed like this?" He angrily asks.
I look down to see I was wearing a bra and panty under my hoodie.Oops
"Mine"He growls and starts attacking my lips again.Once my clothes are all gone.
"I want you to say it" he growls and I'm already turned on."Yours" I moan out he continues pleasing me.He puts in one finger in to my entrance thrusting in and out.The room is filled with moans and grunts.
And just like that we ended up making love to one another.
Later that night (3a.m.)
I wake up looking around to see that I'm in Jason's room and not my own.I look under the blankets to see I'm wearing his shirt.I start blushing reminscising all that had happened.
We did 5 rounds and after that went to shower together where we went at it again.And he gave me his shirt and a clean boxer for me wear.While he was is just wearing boxers and sweatpants.
I try to get up but a muscular hand which is on my waist prevents me from going anywhere.I whisper in his ear," I need a glass of water Jason I'll be right back".He grumpily let's go of me and I rush out.
Once in the kitchen I turn on the lights.I head to the fridge finding a bottle of water and drink up.As I'm about to reach the stairs to head back to bed there is a knock at the door.
Who could it be at this late hour I start asking myself.I rush over to the coffee table by the door taking out the emergency gun.
There are more of them around the house which Jason his in case of an attack and we need to protect ourselves.I slowly reach the door peeping through the door hole not able to see who it so I open it just a bit and when look down at the guest I quickly open the door even wider.
Emma is outside with her back pack on and she looks like she has been crying all the way here.I look around trying to find any signs of Hunter or how she got here.I squint my eyes at the gate to see a yellow taxi driving away.
I quickly carry her in.Her temperature is really cold.I grab a blanket covering her up.By now everyone has arrived downstairs to see what the noise was about.
When they see me covering Emma up in a blanket they all start asking what the matter is.Matteo walks over to her and sits her on his lap so she could sleep better.
I grab her bag to see two letters inside.I open the first everyone is now quietly waiting for me to read it out which I do.
Dear Cleo
You reading this gives me the impression, Emma is with you right now which is good.I'm probably dead by now.
I was shot thrice by some Russian men and they tried to take Emma and I couldn't let them so I gave her specific instructions to come to you and you only.Please take good care of her.
I know you're the one for the job seeing as you're the only mom figure she has. Another letter is inside the bag stating you're her new guardian.

Hunters dead?
I can't believe ,he really is gone.And he left me with the responsibility of taking care of her.Am I up for it? For the whole parenting thing.
One of the maids comes and carries Emma to her new room.Elizabeth is first to talk "I know what you're thinking and yes, you can do it you've done really well taking care of her in Italy"
"Yeah I'm with Eli on this one she's got a point, this little girl needs a mother more than ever and you're the only one worthy enough for this"Scarlett encourages.
Jason starts massaging my shoulders smiling at me in encouragement. "Alright I'll do it now stop leaning in Lucas you look stupid" I say moving back. The others starts laughing at us as the two of us are now arguing.
When the argument finally dies down I turn to Jason"Um Jason is it okay if I-".before I can finish he cuts me off ,"It's okay and yes you can sleep with her.She's probably traumatised from what happened"
We all head to bed I rush to Emma's room where I see her sound asleep and give her a really big kiss on the forehead.And she starts smiling leaning into my touch.
I get comfortable and drift off to sleep with her in my arms.
Jason POV
I keep pacing around the room still lost in thought as to what's keeping her so long. It's two months later and Cleo said she was going with Emma for some "bonding" time and she hasn't come back let alone texted me ever since.
It is so unlike her when I first told she should text me in whatever she does when we started dating she took it literally.She would always text me in everything she did even if its her being in the same room as me and she's telling me what page she is on , the book she would read.
When I would go and ask Scarlett or Elizabeth they would just tell me she's fine or they would just ignore me. Now I know you will think the idea I have in mind is Cray Cray uggghh I mean crazy now I'm even talking like her.
I am in Elizabeth's room trying to find a clue of where she could be.Just as I'm about to give up there is bell noise heard.I look around and then my eyes land on the nightstand and I see that it's Elizabeth's phone.
I rush over to it picking it up and I look to see a notifiaction from:Dramatic Diva👈❤❤🐏😂🤓😤
Who in world is that and I start to think it's Cleo.I quickly unlock her password easily since she is my sister I know hers and she knows mine.I open the chat and it read:
:Hey could you come over please.And Emma wants Cheetos so bring some on your way here.
Just as I'm about to put the phone down Elizabeth comes in. "What are you doing here" she asks completetly puzzeled.
"The woman i love is ignoring me and i need answers as to why shes doing that so please frogive me for what im about to do" I tell her a d is she's completely confused as to what I wanted to do.
When she sees me holding her phone her mood instantly changes in to an angry one she comes at me in full speed and I turn to the side leaving her to fall on her bed.I run to the door closing it then locking her in.
I place her phone on the couch thats outside her room so she wouldn't call for help. Luckily Scarlett and Lucas went out on a date giving me extra time to get out of here.
I'm not entirely worried about her because Matteo will be back soon and I know he'll be looking for her.
I walk away from her room with her yelling at me to let her out and for me to not go to Cleo's place.Plus a lot of threats but I ignore her.
I run to my garage and grab the closest car which is Elizabeth's, driving out of the gates.I speed up even more after passing the store I arrive at her place
The guards let me in thinking I'm Elizabeth in her car.I get out the car with the Cheetos in my hands making my way to the door.I take deep breaths before knocking on the door.
She opens the door and then walks in further not realizing she opened the door for me.I enter the house taking the time to study her state.Her usual curly hair looked like a bird's nest.She was dressed in her pajamas.
When we reach the dinning room she still hasn't realized it's me.Emma is sitted on the kitchen counter eating cereal while wathing Television on the tablet.
She swirls around and spots me her face lights up and she's smiling widely."Uncle Jasey!!!" She screams and runs over to me giving me a big hug.By now Cleo froze in her spot after hearing Emma screaming my name.
She slowly turns around and her eyes look like she had been crying for days,her usually cheery and smiley face had changed into one of sadness.
"Hi" I manage to say not breaking eye contact with her.
"Um Hi, how did you know I was here did Elizabeth tell you where I was?" she asks.
"Um no she didn't I found her phone and took it as an opportunity to come here and I brought what you asked for"I tell her giving her a small smile which she doesn't return.
Emma smiles widely before taking the chips and rushing to the living room with her tablet in hand yelling a lot of thank you' s.
Cleo heads into the kitchen and asks me if I wanted anything to drink but I tell her no.
"Why did you leave me that day, was it something I said or did cause if it was I can make it up to you I promise" i start to ramble but she cuts me off.
"It's not because of you or anyone for that matter" she reassures me.
"Then why please tell me, I haven't slept for the days"
"I can't tell you" she says avoiding eye contact with me.
"Please tell me I know we can work it out just tell me Please?" I beg because I was not going to leave without the answer.
She thinks for a while before sighing and sitting on the stool that's in front of me.Her eyes start to tear before giving me the news that put me in utter shock.
"Because I'm pregnant with your baby"
I look him in the eye waitring for his reaction.His usually well kept hair looked like he ran his through it numerous of times.His eyes where just like mine tired and puffy looking.I wait patiently for him to break up with me but instead he starts smiling widely.
"Really?that's amazing Why do you sound so scared?"
"I don't know I just panicked okay, I just thought once you heard the news you would break up with me Imediately and maybe force me to abort the baby which I also didn't want so I was stuck in the middle "
"I agree having a child wouldn't have been something I would want if it was the old me but that's not me anymore but hearing that the love of my life is pregnant with my child is just amazing news"
"You love me?"I ask completely forgetting the rest of what he said.
"Yes why is that so surprising"
"It's just that I never sas myself as the person to be that amazing that you'd love me that's all" i answer shrugging my shoulders
"Are you kidding me you're amazing .You arent ashaned of you skincolour how you look .you make me feel things I never thought were possible, you are probably the only person in my life who has actually been able to make me laugh or smile. And I would be crazy if I didn't love you for that?" He asks while holding my arm and that's all I needed to hear before I wrapped my arms around his neck and he immediately hugs me back holding me waist.
"I'm sorry for running away I should have just faces the problem head on and just have you and me talk it out"
"It's okay but please don't do that again I had a serious heart attack" he says giving me stern stare.
"So how many months now" he asks looking down at my belly.
"2 months actually next week I'm going for an appointment with the Doctor"
"Can I come?" He asks with hopeful eyes.
"Ofcourse you can come you're the dad" I tell him smiling cheekily and he smiles back until his goes back to being serious.
"When did you find out" he asks leaning into the table waiting for my answer.
"When Emma and had gotten back from the amusement park celebrating that she got accepted into her new school,I was feeling nauseous, and I vomited everything I had eaten that day, I called Elizabeth and Scarlett and they took me to the hospital while Emma stayed behind with Mariah,we got there they did some tests until I was told I was pregnant and two months to be exact and yeah that's how I found out" i end my story with him listening very intently.
"Well I'm glad that's out the woods because I missed you a ton"he says holding onto my hand afraid If i let go I'd disappear.
"Me too" I answer back walking over to hug him.But he has other plans he lifted me up and place me on his lap giving me kiss.The kiss which had a lot of longing and passion.
When we finally break up he looks up into my eyes." Now that we know you're pregnant you and Emma will be staying at mansion because you both and the baby are my main family now and I have to take care of th three of you now go and pack" he says not waiting for any argument which I don't give him.
I rush to my room packing up the bags while Mariah packs up Emma's suitcase.When finished with the packing and getting both Emma and I dressed I head downstairs to see Emma and Jason playing rock paper scissors laughing and having fun.Which I smile at and secretly take a pictire before they realize I arrived.
I put the picture as me lock screen. Jason carries all the bags effortless.I say my goodbye to Maring.She is going to be taking care of the place and I let her bring her 3 kids to stay there as well with her.
We arrive a the mansion.Jason tells me and Emma to go ahead.When I enter balloons are thrown at me and everyone yells surprise I look around to see the whole family including my parents.The house was decorated really well the banner with the words Congratualtions on the baby.
I turn to Jason who has brought that last of the bags and just sends me a really cheeky smile my way.Thats what he was talking about on the phone in Italian,he was telling them to get ready and that were on our way.I should really learn Italian fast.
The music is brought up and a lot of family and friends came.They all come congratulating Jason and I.
Elizabeth has been sending Jason angry looks the whole time since we arrived.
Jason even invited my foster parents making the party extra special for me.My biological parents and them instantly hit it off.
After the party everyone left.I make my way to Emma's room to check how she was settling in to her new room.I find her sitted in her blankets reading her all time favourite.I get into the room sitting on the bed beside her.
She looks up and imediatley smiles at the sight of me and jumps into my arms.We stay like that for a bit until I decide to speak,"As you already know I'm pregnant and I want you to know although the baby will be mine by blood it doesn't I'm going to stop loving you no you will and always be my first baby even if I'm not your biological mom okay?"
"Yes and you'll always be my mommy forever and ever"
"And I promise you I'll never leave you okay?"
"Mhm mmmh now could you read my story for me?" She asks with big puppy dog eyes and a pout.
After reading the story she falls asleep I tuck her in and quietly sneak out of the room and head for Jason's.When I reach in to the room he had just come of the bathroom and I avert my eyes to the bed.
Once in I fall asleep and I feel the bed dip on the side.And I feel my body being pulled back until I hit his hard chest as he snuzzles his head into my neck and falls asleep I fall asleep in pursuit. And I finally get to sleep after all those days.
