Chapter 47: Overwhelmed

Old Alma frowned, "don't just stand there. Now's the time to ask questions while you get acquainted with where you spend the majority of your time in the Fairy Knoll."

"I'll be getting help right?" Kaoma asked demurely.

The last thing she wanted to do was annoy one of the few in the Fairy Knoll who seemed to be willing to give her aid. 

"But of course, it just so happened that your arrival coincided with a miller that was captured by the Fairy warriors during a raid at Gloucester Hills. He would be here to greet you if he wasn't recovering from a bout with the flu. Glen is human like yourself so you already have a lot in common."

Kaoma rolled her eyes at the last statement and Old Alma pretended like didn't see. 

The sun was high up in the sky when she had first noticed something that caused her initial distress because it was so familiar to her.
