The meat was either undercooked or burnt.
The drinks tasted expired or had too much water in them.
Or worse the fruit juice was not strained a personal pet peeve of Prince Maxixe as the pulp got stuck in his teeth.
One time he even removed fish bones from his wine.
The desserts were salty when they should have been sweet.
Canaan nearly choked on the wine from his goblet as he laughed, "you are worried about your belly and I'm worried about my clothes."
"Your clothes," brought up Zori, his curiosity piqued.
"That new serving girl Ginger, keeps accidentally spilling the drink when pouring for us," Garen informed him.
