Chapter 1: The Ray Of Inspiration (And OC Bio)
(Bio)
Name: Hikari Sokudo

Quirk: Flash, allows Hikari to transform into light and move at light speed as well as fire beams of light and form weapons out of light, however his abilities become weaker if light is not present (being in direct sunlight makes him the most powerful while being trapped in a windowless room makes him weaker and also makes him move slower) he can also bounce his beams off reflective surfaces and pass through objects while transformed. He also suffers vertigo and nausea due to the intense speeds he can reach thanks to his quirk and as a result doesn't move at light speed often unless he has to.
Appearance: (casual) Hikari usually wears a yellow shirt with a blue jacket along with white pants and yellow shoes. (Hero) For his hero suit he wears a yellow bodysuit with a white sun symbol on it paired with white metal greaves covered in padding and gauntlets with padding and a yellow metal visor that covers his eyes as well as covering his bodysuit in light weight sliver armour which helps him reflect his beams (the visor prevents him from damaging his eyes due to his quirk).
Likes: Being outside, having freedom, hanging out with friends, compliments about his appearance, shiny objects, jewellery and his family.
Dislikes: Having his appearance insulted, being out during the night, anyone who hurts his loved ones, the dark, being the centre of attention.
Parents: Mother, Akarui Sokudo quirk: Flash, Pro Hero name: Lady Light, hero rank: 11th.
(Flashback Hosu City, Junior High)
A gold haired boy sits near a tree in the playground while reading a book, he thinks to himself "I can't wait to be a hero, and dazzle everyone with my quirk and shine like the sun itself-" his thoughts are interrupted by the sound of a small explosion, he looks up from his book to see Bakugo (fem Bakugo) starring down Izumi (fem Izuku) Bakugo rushes toward Izumi with her hand outstretched toward Izumi when a glint of light passes between the two causing Bakugo to stop in her tracks and look toward the direction it came from "What the hell Hikari?" Hikari sighs "I don't need you disturbing my reading thank you very much Bakuga so leave Izumi alone. Unless you want to be petty of course" Bakugo growls before walking off while Hikari goes back to reading while ignoring the stares and comments the girls are making about him "He's so dreamy", "I dare you to ask him out", "He's so handsome".

(Hikari's Home)
"Hikari wake up!" Hikari immediately bolts up and falls off his bed "Urgh..." his mother sighs "Come on, or your making your own breakfast" Hikari gets up and gets changed while his mother leaves the room, he sighs and changes into his casual wear and walks down to eat his food, his mother looks at him "Remember your UA entrance exam is today" Hikari "Yeah, I know, I'm ready" his mother smiles "Good...I'll be at UA on faculty" Hikari sighs "You don't trust me?" She chuckles "I do but I just want to make sure you don't let our quirk go to your head" he nods "Oh ok" his mother smiles "No doubt you'll get lots of stares from the fangirls once you become a pro or probably in your class if your lucky" he blushes "You think so?" She nods "I deal with it already, it's usually due to our hero costume and our looks so make sure to practice your pose and smile" he chuckles "Yeah, I guess...right I should get going, I'll see you later Mom" she smiles "Ok, dear" Hikari opens the door and heads to the exam area.
(UA Entrance Exam Area)
Hikari arrives and walks through the crowd until he spots a familiar face and walks up to her "Hey Izumi" she turns around to see Hikari "Hikari?" He nods "Yeah, it's me...so how you been?" She smiles "I've been good what about you?" Hikari chuckles "I've been great, mostly training my quirk and stomach" the two smile before they hear the exam start and Hikari immediately dashes off in a burst of light.
(A few hours later)
Hikari slashes his last robot in half with a beam of light from his hand when he sees Izumi destroy one of the robots with one blow, he watches with a wide grin until she begins free falling he goes to save her only for a brown haired girl to beat him to it, he thanks her before making sure Izumi is ok before heading home.
(Hikari's Home)
Hikari walks in and notices a letter on the floor, he picks it up and opens it to reveal a small projector. He turns it on to reveal All Might "I am here...as a projection, anyway Hikari Sokudo I have wonderful news you have been accepted into UA High" Hikari turns the projector off and smiles widely "Yes!" He immediately rushes upstairs and begins collecting the stuff he needs before calming down "Ok, Hikari chill, take it easy, it's still a day before you go...I wonder if Izumi got in" he undresses and gets into his bed before falling asleep.
(The next day)
He gets up and gets changed and grabs his stuff as well as his Pepto Bizmol (to alleviate any potential stomach problems he may have after using his quirk) before heading downstairs to see his mother waiting for him "Have fun at UA and remember to do your best and not let your charm make you too relaxed" Hikari blushes and nods "Of course mother, I'm not gonna be a flirter don't worry" she smiles "Good, now go on before your late on your first day" he nods and heads off to UA while thinking about who his classmates might be.
(UA High)
Hikari walks through the hall to his class when he hears familiar yelling, he sighs and continues walking until he's standing at the door and sees everyone along with Bakugo bullying Izumi again, he sighs and clears his throat "I guess some things never change" Bakugo turns around to see Hikari "Oh shut up, Hikari" Hikari laughs "I'll shut up when you do" Bakugo growls before going to her seat while Hikari introduces himself to everyone before he takes his seat near the middle of the classroom, he looks around and notices everyone and thinks to himself "So, we have quite a few uniques here, one who's invisible, one who looks like a bird and a girl with what I assume to be purple balls stuck to her head" he goes back to his journal while he fails to notice a lot of eyes on him with one in particular with the purple balls "Oh my god, he's so handsome, he's like Yuga but actually dashing I can't wait to try and see him" after a while their teacher Aizawa appears and Hikari immediately recognises him and thinks "Eraser Head...thank god, at least he'll be able to keep Bakugo in check" Aizawa then gives them their PE uniforms before leading them outside to the field.
(UA Field)
Aizawa then stops them and explains "Before we do anything else we are going to test your quirks since you weren't aloud to use them in middle school, Katsumi I want you to pitch this baseball again seeing as you only got 64m in middle school" he hands her the baseball and she throws it high into the air with her explosion and Aizawa comments "A significant improvement...you threw seven hundred meters this time" the class become excited until Aizawa continues "However, whoever gets the lowest amount of points on this test will be expelled" the class gasp with Ochaco complaining that's unfair but Aizawa simply replies "The world is unfair and it's a hero job to combat that unfairness"
(The tests)
Hikari's blitz's most of the tests and shocks his fellow classmates with his intense speeds while All Might and Aizawa realise who Hikari is "He's Akarui's only child alright...he'll definitely pass this course if he's anything like her, he definitely shares her looks" Hikari manages to finish the tests first but holds his stomach for a few seconds "Augh, that's uncomfortable" he recovers and waits for everyone else to finish then heads to Aizawa for the pitching test while thinking "I'm a throw this thing at light speed, I'll probably hurt my stomach more but I'd rather be completely confident in passing" Aizawa looks at him "Sokudo Hikari" Hikari steps foward and grabs the baseball and brings him arm all the way back, his arm glows with a yellow/white glow before he throws the ball into the air and it causes a massive upward shockwave that severely cracks the ground of the training field shocking everyone and Aizawa's eyes widen "You even broke the counter...you definitely belong here" Hikari smiles while holding his stomach and takes one of pills and apologises for the damage before Izumi pitches and severely damages her fingers which shocks Hikari "How...I could have sworn you didn't have a quirk...but damn I can see why she never used it if she had it" Bakugo immediately rushes Izumi but is held back by Aizawa and warns the class to not make him overuse his quirk, after that the results are revealed and Aizawa reveals the expulsion rule to be a ruse calming the class down "Ok, your all dismissed, Izumi head to Recovery Girl so your finger can be sorted out" everyone heads off with Hikari heading home after a brief conversation with Izumi, Ocacho and a new friend by the name of Tenya as well as meeting Izumi at the gate.
(Hikari's Home)
Hikari walks in the door only to be hugged by his mother "So how was your first day?" Hikari smiles "It was great though I may have trashed the PE field while doing the pitch test" she sighs "You threw it at light speed didn't you?" He nods and she chuckles "I knew you would, oh well don't worry too much as long you don't damage the school itself now come on before your dinner goes cold" Hikari nods and follows her while looking at his hero costume which is laying on the couch "I can't wait for tomorrow". (his mother's role at UA is usually to assist the other teachers if they need an extra pair of hands during lessons)
