Chapter 1: Marry Her!
Two people were sitting on the sofa in a grand mansion. It was filled with massive chandeliers making the room look golden. The man was a little old, he had wrinkles on his face indicating that he was a little aged. His brown eyes which lost colour and his white eyebrows frowning made him look more aged than he actually was. The woman who was sitting by his side was rather much younger than him. She had blonde hair and a pair of glasses around her brown eyes. She had a good body figure and was clinging to the arm of the man beside her. The couple had a displeasing expression. Then the sound of the door opening distracted them.
A handsome young man ramed inside with a well-built body dressed in a perfect suit. The young man had an expression of disgust, a little bit of anger and a huge amount of hostility. He impatiently shouted "No! I won't marry her!" as if he knew the content which was about to be discussed. The man who was sitting on the sofa stood up and went towards the young man and shouted, "You have to!" He was angry. Angry to the extent that his face was red. Following him, the woman stood up, she smiled at the handsome man. The smile was not genuine, it was more like it was filled with hostility and said, "It's alright if you don't want to marry but the company needs more attention. You have to marry for the company. This is your grandpa's last wish."
The handsome man was annoyed. His face was full of disgust towards that woman. The woman smirked a little. She was dressed in a bright red dress that was
up to her thighs which made the dress totally lose its beauty. She smiled and said, "Please listen to your father Asher. Please, he is doing this for your well being. I beg you." The woman acted as pitifully as she can. The wrinkled man came toward her and hugged her into his arms and started to console the woman who was shedding crocodile tears. He made her sit on the sofa while Asher shouted, "It's not under your control. Stop showing your hypocrisy, woman and don't forget that your company relies on my company!" He thought to himself, "They think they can manipulate me using my grandpa. They are not even qualified to speak his name with their filthy mouths"
The wrinkled man got up and slapped Asher and shouted, "You ungrateful bastard! How did I give birth to a son like you!" Austin replied back, "Since you think I'm ungrateful, I'll be one. I won't marry anyone you choose for me." Austin had an evil smile on his face and said, "Dad, no I must say, Mr. Charles Hall, I'd like to break ties with you."
Upon hearing that his son wants to break ties with him, he was infuriated. He had only one thought if Asher breaks ties with him, what will happen to him and his wife. The other woman who was dressed in red was Charles' wife, Mrs. Emma Hall. Charles had a dramatic expression. He went towards Emma and said, "Look my dear wife, my… my son wants to cut ties with me"
For that Asher angrily shouted, "She is not my mother!" and then lowered his voice and said, "She is the woman you slept with. You cheated on my mother and also you are not my father. My father died at the time he cheated on my mother. Do you remember that there existed someone called Ariana Wright? I bet you forgot the name of my mother. She was the princess of the Wright family! You know they can
destroy you by snapping their fingers right? You know why didn't they kill you? Do you know why didn't they kill you? That's because I was there. Even though Ariana Wright is dead her son was still alive and he needed a father. You know what? Now I think that they should have killed you. Tortured you to death and killed you. Such men… Hah! I'm even ashamed to call you my father. You are a disgrace to our family. I don't know how grandpa had a son like you."
Charles's face was filled with terror thinking about Family Wright but he covered it and smirked that he finally found the weakness of his son who was his mother and said, "Since you won't marry the woman I choose for you, I think I'll have to change the resting place of your mother. I'm going to dig up her grave and feed it to dogs." Asher was speechless as to how can a man be so cruel even to his wife who was already dead. He wouldn't even let a dead person rest properly. Asher shouted, "You! How dare you!" but held back thinking that even if he took major steps to spy on Charles, he may dig up his mother's grave and feed it to dogs.
Asher reluctantly compromised saying, "Fine, since it is out of my control to refuse you. I'll marry the woman. But whatever happens, even if she is the only woman left on earth, I won't love her and she won't be having a good time at my home either. And I will not hold a wedding." For his response, Charles smiled with later turned into a smirk and replied, "As long as you marry her. I don't care what life she lives. Even if she dies in your mansion don't come looking for me. Her name is Samantha, Samantha Carter. She is the only princess of the Carter family, daughter of Jordan Carter." His only thought was the connections he could get from the Carter family. After agreeing to the demand, Asher left the place to have a drink in his private winery.
