'Why is he becoming like this?' Louisanna couldn't help but ask at the back of her mind.

Domhall's eyes were full of rage. In one glance, everyone could tell he was furious as his grip on her neck tightened, and how his chest went up and down due to heavy breathing. However, Louisanna couldn't decipher why.

'Is he mad because of the book?'

Shivers sent down her spine. Domhall didn't flinch nor move even though she held her hands onto his wrists to remove his hands, choking her. She already found it hard to breathe. The fire burning around them wasn't helping. In fact, it was making her feel worse.
