Domhall's eyes widened and his heart started to beat rapidly as he watched Luna walking towards him. Her hair was blown by the wind onto her back, making Domhall see her white, unblemished skin. 

The dirty yet elegant white dress she was wearing complemented her white hair and feminine features. He couldn't help but be mesmerized by the woman now standing in front of him.

"Hail to the king," Luna greeted and kneeled in front of her new king. 

She rested her palms on the floor as she bowed her head until her forehead made contact with the ground. As the room went silent, Luna could only hear her ragged breathing. 

Her sweat started to accumulate on her forehead as she gulped thrice. She didn't know why Domhall called for her— and why he wasn't commanding her to stand up even though her greetings were longer than usual.
