It hadn't just been a trick of the light: Kyrie was watching him at night.
One evening when Renard was out in the garden, he was sure that he saw her eyes staring back at him from beyond a bush. At the time, he had thought that his mind really was playing tricks on him due to his own desire, and yet, those eyes continued to rattle around in his thoughts. What if they weren't just a figment of his imagination? He'd made more of an effort to spend time in the garden then, to see if his suspicions were confirmed. He didn't seriously think that she would be there, but when he opened his ears and squinted his eyes to pierce through the darkness, he was shocked to learn that she was not just the desire of his mind.
When he first came to the revelation that she did indeed watch him at night sometimes, anger was the first emotion that flit through his mind. How dare she come out to watch him when he specifically did not want others to see him?! He acted how he did because he knew there would be no one scrutinizing him; he was able to just let loose here without anyone knowing about it! Instead of confronting her in anger though, he had turned that anger towards the plants, leaving her none the wiser about his discovery.
As the irritation dulled, a new emotion entered into his mind: hope.
Usually Kyrie tried her best to avoid his advances and kept a very healthy distance between the two of them, but the fact that she was here watching him told him that there was something drawing her to him. He could use this; there was no way she spent all this time watching him unless she was actually attracted to him somehow. Plus... She was actually willingly away from her two protectors, thinking herself safe in the cover of darkness. If this wasn't a golden opportunity then he wasn't sure what was. He may still feel a bit angry about the fact that she'd been watching him without his permission but if he could get what he'd been angling for for the good part of a year, then perhaps it'd be worth it.
Now it was just a matter of choosing the right time. Since he was aware of her now, he covertly kept an eye out for her and saw how she spent some of her time looking at him and the rest of her time looking at her lap. Her time was split about evenly between him and whatever was in her lap, and Renard burned to know what it was she was looking at. Her expression would get lost, maybe even a little flushed as she looked between him and her lap, but never more than that. It was damn arousing, was what it was. Was this what Isaac had to deal with all the time? A young woman so tempting in her seeming innocence? Renard didn't understand how Isaac wasn't pouncing her at all hours. Though, really, for all Renard knew he was. Isaac was always extremely cagey whenever Renard tried to bring up Kyrie; getting information from him about his carnal habits was practically impossible, especially after Renard had brought up how attractive Kyrie was. Isaac was slow to forget these things. Renard was equally slow to forget his desires, and he had waited quite patiently for this day to arrive.
He waited until Kyrie's eyes turned downward because he knew they would be looking down for the next few minutes at least. Only once he was satisfied that she was no longer looking at him did he take one last puff of his cigar before putting it down on the little ashtray he took with him. Silently moving around the bush, he was careful not to disturb the plants for them to make any noticeable noise. Maneuvering his way so that he'd be approaching Kyrie from behind, he could see now that she was sitting daintily on the floor with one of her hands moving steadily on something in her lap. Her gaze was intensely focused, this time there was no flush on her cheeks, but that didn't make her any less attractive.
Suppressing the desire to push her down into the grass right then and there, he instead moved to stand over her so he could see what was in her lap. Renard squinted to help his eyes adjust to the half-light that he was in now, and he could see that Kyrie had a notebook sitting in her lap. As his eyes further adjusted, he was surprised to see the lines on the page depicting a drawing, one of himself sitting in quiet contemplation in the garden while smoke pooled around his head rather artistically.
She was... She was an excellent sketcher; the details of his face felt so life-like, and the care that had been put into the landscape and the way everything flowed together was done with professional levels of quality. It would seem that Kyrie drew a lot like he did landscaping, and this just made Renard's desire for her grow. He had to have her, there was no doubt in his mind now; they were kindred spirits in this sense, surely their bodies would go together just as well.
For a moment, Kyrie turned her gaze to look back beyond the bush, but when she saw that Renard was absent, with only the smoldering cigar left in his wake, she startled a little. Leaning closer to the bush now, to see if he was somewhere that she couldn't see very easily, it was now that Renard decided to make his move.
Kneeling down, he leaned in close, his breath tickling her ear.
"Looking for something?"
There was an almost dangerous or predatory quality to his voice, something Kyrie had never heard before, and she let out a gasp of surprise before clapping a hand to her ear and turning to him with wide eyes. It felt like ice was running through her veins now as her face lost all of its color. How had he known?! She thought she'd been so careful in her observations of him! There should be no way that he ever would've found out!
"R-Renard--"
She wasn't sure where she was going with that statement, but her voice shook as she stared back at him. He did not have the usual playful smile on his face, instead his expression was rather unreadable, and Kyrie couldn't help but think that she wanted so badly to draw it. He reached a hand towards her, and Kyrie flinched as she clenched her eyes shut. She was expecting some sort of impact, or some touch at the very least, but when she felt neither, her eyes slowly opened once more.
He hadn't touched her at all, but what he had done was pick up the notebook that was in her lap.
"W-Wait! That's private!"
The instant she said the word she knew the folly of her statement.
"You've already seen me at my most private, I think it's only fair that you return the favor."
Honestly, he was a little surprised at how irritated he was with her now that he had approached her. When he'd initially planned his approach in his head, he'd wanted to be more playful, more comforting, more seductive. Instead he was doing this in a much different way than he'd intended, but he was too far in to stop now. He wanted to peel back her own secrets and reveal them in front of her, in a way that she wouldn't be able to escape. Make her really feel just like how she'd made him feel by watching him like this.
Sitting down in the grass behind her, she hardly resisted as Renard pulled her into his lap with one hand. She was trembling something fierce, her face pale at the prospect of someone going through the entirety of her notebook; even Isaac hadn't seen all the pictures! So concerned was she with the contents of the notebook that the fact that he was being so intimate with her right now barely even registered in her mind.
"P-please! I'm sorry, I won't ever do it again!"
For a moment, Renard didn't say anything, simply stared into her pleading eyes in silence. After a tense couple seconds of this though, he yanked her in close with one arm so her back was flush up against his chest. This motion jostled her enough so that her head was once again facing forward, and now Renard pushed his cheek up against hers and directing their gaze down to the notebook that he had sitting in her lap.
"Sorry alone doesn't quite cut it."
With that Renard flipped the book open to the beginning, and suddenly Kyrie felt completely naked in his arms. Her cheeks flushed from this action; not only was Renard so close to her with his breath tickling her neck and his arms wrapped around her to the open book in her lap, but also he was probing about her most guarded secrets. He wasn't having sex with her physically, but it certainly felt like he was penetrating her mentally. She hated herself for this thought flitting through her mind, but she couldn't help wanting to try drawing that sort of dynamic. What an evocative drawing this pose of theirs would make, one that was... Erotic and uncomfortably revealing all at the same time.
The beginning pages of Kyrie's notebook weren't so bad, they wer mostly just pictures of the animals in Mae's menagerie. The lady had so many that Kyrie always found herself drawing more. As common as they were for Kyrie, Renard went through them slowly, as if scrutinizing every picture that passed by his gaze. On one in particular—what would be a brightly colored bird if it wasn't drawn in charcoal—Renard paused to gently trace the lines of the intricate feathers.
"This is spectacular, Kyrie, you have a real eye for this."
His lips lightly brushed up against her cheek as he spoke, causing her to let out a soft almost pained noise as she turned her face away from him. This only opened her neck up to him though, and she gasped in surprise and tried to wriggle away as he nuzzled her exposed skin. Renard's arms tightened around her from this motion, making sure that she was indeed thoroughly stuck in his lap. How small she felt in his arms, and how quickly her heart was beating as she was helpless to resist him; both morally and physically.
"Have you ever thought about using color for your pictures?"
Thinking this to be just more teasing on his part, Kyrie didn't say much of anything. When this actually prompted him to jostle her a little in his lap, she was a bit shocked by the realization that this was something he legitimately wanted to talk about. He wasn't just trying to be polite, he wanted to have a conversation about the process of creation. Chancing a slight glance at him to try and confirm whether he was being serious or not, she was met with him staring back at her with a pointed look. Feeling immediately caught out by this, she turned her gaze back downwards while her cheeks felt like they were burning for some reason. He really was looking for a serious answer from her.
Now that she thought about it, she supposed it made sense that he was asking her about this: he was an artist himself, wasn't he? He had to be! The care with which he arranged the various plants and sculpted them into what they were today was beyond what was needed to just maintain a garden. He strove to make it as beautiful as it could be, something that other people would enjoy looking at and something that Renard could truly enjoy making. It was strange to think that she was going to have a conversation with someone about art; while Isaac praised her work, he just didn't know enough to be able to critique or question it. For some reason, the revelation that Renard could caused her heart to race even more.
"I... I have thought about using color before... Every time I think it though, I look back at the pieces I've done and feel that color wouldn't really add anything. It seems like it would be detracting from the soft nuance of the grey's intensity and the lines would get muddied by the colors. Details just wouldn't show up quite so vividly in color."
Her own fingers moved down to touch the patterns on the page this time, and when his hand moved to gently resting over hers she flinched a little. For a moment she'd almost forgotten exactly where she was; that's what tended to happen when she talked about her pieces.
"I see. For my work colors are those details; don't get me wrong, the shapes of the plants matter as well, but it's the colors that really help a garden draw the eye. It might be worth experimenting with color, if for no other reason than because you haven't tried it before."
"I suppose..."
It was strange; even though Kyrie was definitely uncomfortable with this whole situation, a part of her felt like it was also quite liberating. Here was someone that she could actually talk to about art, and not only that, but very soon she just wouldn't have anymore secrets from him. They hadn't gotten to the more controversial pictures though, and her heart clenched at the thought of him getting to some of those pages. There were a good number that were either too revealing of a person's character, or too revealing of a person physically. Not only would it be an invasion of her privacy, but it would also be an invasion of other people's privacy as well. She felt like she'd be sharing secrets that weren't really hers to share in the first place.
The next page held the first of these.
When he flipped the page, it was to see a pair of related drawings on each side, and he found his brow raising in a bit of surprise to see what was there. It was a combined picture of Vivian; while the other woman had never confided to Kyrie about what was precisely bothering her, Kyrie had made her own guesses and this was what she came up with. In one picture it was an image of Vivian with baby Raine wailing in the background. The shading of this picture was fairly dark, giving a distinct impression of unhappiness and as if there was a heavy burden weighing down the page. The look on Vivian's face was not of concern or tiredness, it was a mixture of hatred and sadness aimed pointedly at the child as she went to go pick her up. Renard hadn't spent nearly so much time scrutinizing Vivian while she was taking care of Raine, so this image came as a bit of a surprise to him.
The image next to it was much lighter in shading. It was an older Raine reading a book in the background with Vivian in the foreground cleaning the room with a bit of a lilt to her step. No longer was that look of hatred on her face, this time it was a slight smile as she looked up at the top of the tallest shelf in the room and reached to dust it.
"Kyrie... Are you a collector of people's secrets?"
Mostly what he was feeling here was intrigue rather than disgust or judgement. He didn't realize that the girl he thought to be so innocent was a bit of a voyeur, almost. Watching people and inferring their thoughts by what she saw, whether secretly or openly. Not only had she seen a different side of him tonight, but Renard was seeing a different side of Kyrie. She was certainly a curious creature. It would be a mistake to take the pictures completely at face value in terms of how much validity they held to actual emotions, but there was likely to be some truth to what it was that Kyrie drew.
Kyrie simply blushed at the question. She knew it would be painful and awkward when he started revealing these pages.
"Please I... These really are private."
Her voice was small as she said this, and Renard could see now just how private they were. Still, now that he'd caught of glimpse of these pictures Renard not only wanted to know these secrets she'd uncovered, but he also wanted to watch her squirm in embarrassment for what she'd done. He still hadn't properly repaid her for spending so much time watching him while she thought he didn't know. There was a reason he didn't really show this aspect of himself to others; people tended to respond much better to the roguish charm. Besides, most of the people he interacted with he didn't want to share his art with simply because he didn't think they'd really understand it. They could smile and praise him for it, but they wouldn't empathize much with the passion or even the thought process behind it.
Kyrie though... she potentially could. Even though he was still quite unhappy with how she'd been secretly watching him for so long, it would seem that it was the real key to understanding and connecting with her. He couldn't help but find himself wondering if her softening towards him had been from her seeing beyond his facade. It was strange to think that this was one girl that he could be completely open with because that's what appealed to her the most. Still, he couldn't help but feel violated with how this revelation came about.
"Then perhaps you shouldn't be drawing them."
Biting the inside of her lip at that, Kyrie knew that she really couldn't dispute him; she shouldn't be drawing them, and yet they made the most heart wrenching pictures.
"But the feelings... There's just something about them that keeps yanking me back."
Even though her voice was soft as she said this, Renard still heard her words, and his grip around her tightened once more. She was adorable, really, which was a characteristic that his usual lovers didn't tend to exhibit much.
"You have a curiosity, Kyrie. You try to hide it, but it shows up in little ways; in your pictures, in your gaze, and in your reaction to what I'm doing to you here."
As if to add some emphasis to his words, he pulled her shirt down her shoulder to latch onto it with his mouth and vigorously suck. Once again there was a soft sound elicited from her, and she squirmed in his lap as Renard's lips were forcibly removed. Still, Renard had gone hard enough that there was a red mark on her shoulder now, and that satisfied him well enough.
Kyrie's breaths were coming rather quickly now, her heart feeling like it was going a mile a minute as he turned back to the book. Just what was going on? Why was her heart beating so much from such an intimate act with Renard? She felt horrible that someone had marked her aside from Isaac, but at the same time, she didn't hate it. Why couldn't she just hate it? Was she truly curious like Renard had suggested?
That question haunted her as Renard scrutinized all the pictures that she had; there were tons more of the various members of the household in unguarded moments, and there were even the occasional pictures of Mae and Raine. While Kyrie never actually drew pictures of herself, she did draw some pictures of Isaac either during or after the act of sex.
It was these sexual pictures that Renard paused on now, and Kyrie held her breath, hoping that whatever came next wasn't too bad; he had already thoroughly humiliated her, what else could he possibly do? Well... She wasn't so naïve as to not have an answer to that question, but she was really hoping that the rumors of Renard were worse than the reality. Yet... Her pounding heart seemed to be aching for him. His teasing and revealing actions were arousing her, much to her horror, and it meant that she found the idea of him pushing her down less repulsive than she had before. She'd rather hide these feelings deep in her subconscious than be forced to face them!
"How come you never draw yourself?"
"I can't exactly see myself..."
Renard laughed at the uncharacteristically snappy response that he got from her.
"That was a surprisingly sharp response from you, and you know as well as I do that that's not true. There are plenty of mirrors around the house, and plenty of ways of seeing your own reflection as well. You can see yourself just fine, and I'd wager you know what you look like pretty well too."
Once again she flushed to be so called out, but she hadn't just said it to be difficult, not entirely, anyway.
"No... I mean... I can't see my expressions very well. I can guess at what they look like, but it never feels quite right when I envision it in my head. Is that really the face that I'm making, or does it just not capture the nuances of my expression at all? It's hard to see the expressions on my face because I know when I'm watching and I can alter my reflection accordingly. I just don't feel equipped to really draw myself."
Renard let out a soft hum at that as his hands wandered from the book that he had at this point, very finely explored. Kyrie felt like her heartbeat was getting louder in her ears as Renard's fingers wrapped around her wrists.
"Shame that. The expressions that you make would be excellent pictures."
She was shaking in his arms as Renard leaned in to kiss her cheek before gently nibbling on her ear. Even though she was shaking, her flushed cheeks and the little noise she made told him that it wasn't just that she was scared: she wanted this as well. While he did legitimately admire Kyrie's art, the notebook fell forgotten on the grass as Renard slowly pushed her down onto the ground, bending her over so that she was practically presenting herself to him.
"R-Renard! I... I--!"
She really didn't know what she was trying to say, but she did let out another gasp as Renard kissed her spine along the back of her neck.
"Don't deny it; you want this just as much as I do."
Did she though? Was it just the arousal raging through her system that made her not resist that hard, or was it something else entirely? Had she come to like Renard after watching him in the garden for so long without his usual mask on? She didn't know, but what she did know was that when Renard pushed aside her underwear beneath the skirt of her dress, a jolt of panic and arousal went through her.
"But Isaac! I love Isaac!"
"And you can keep on loving him; he doesn't have to know about this. You weren't really supposed to know about me being out here anyway. It can be our combined secret."
Trying to let out a plea for him to stop making her feel how she was feeling right now, that request got cut off prematurely as he abruptly pushed past what little resistance she had, nestling himself in right up to the base of his sex. Letting out a cry that she promptly stifled by biting her own lip, she found that her body was trembling from both excitement and horror. Him revealing her secrets and pushing her down like this shouldn't feel good! How was she able to get pleasure and excitement from any of this?! She was in a relationship with Isaac and she didn't want anything aside from him so why... Why was she letting this happen?
On top of her, Renard let out a grunt of delight now that he was fully inside of her. She'd already gotten herself pretty wet from what he'd been doing with both her body and her notebook so he didn't meet with too much resistance, a little to his surprise. He would be lying if he said he hadn't been expecting more of a fight from Kyrie, yet here she was, trembling beneath him in clear arousal. She was tighter than Vivian and Dessi were, and her body was more slender than the two of them; it was as if she was a much more fragile piece beneath him, and somehow that made him want to possess her all the more.
Continuing to hold her down to the ground, he gave in to that instinctual urge and just began pounding into her. The small body beneath him bounced with each slap of their bodies meeting, and that stifled moan came again from her, but in more force now that he was starting a rhythm. She clenched her hands into the grass beneath her with her face pressed up against the soft blades. Kyrie could hardly even imagine Isaac fucking her like this in the garden, she wasn't even sure she'd like if he did, and yet she couldn't deny the arousal that she was getting from her lover's friend when he took her like this. There wasn't enough clarity of mind anymore for her to feel that bad about what was happening though; all she was feeling was each thrust inside of her as Renard pushed her further into the ground.
"Let your voice out, Kyrie. No one's going to hear us from here."
Shaking her head at that, Renard found her refusal unacceptable enough to actually do something about it. Shifting her hands so that he was holding her down with only one hand, his other trailed down to her mouth. Probing enough here until he was able to slip a finger past her lips, this action unsealed her lips enough for her to let out an uninhibited groan. It was a little muffled by the position of his finger, but it was nothing compared to what it had been when her lips had been closed.
Wetting his fingers with her own saliva as she moaned from his repeated thrusts, he slowly let his hand trail down her face. As he'd hoped, she didn't close her mouth again, and instead let out another loud moan as her body shuddered from the wetness of his fingers trailing along her exposed skin. She really did have the most seductive expression on her face as he continued thrusting into her, and he could feel his release coming soon.
She had to be close as well, her body was twitching something fierce with each new push that he made into her, and her moans were getting louder, higher pitched, more frantic. Ah, this felt even better than he had hoped. Moving his hands to firmly grip her hips, this gave him a bit better leverage as he increased his pace a bit: this was exactly what the two of them needed to drive themselves over the edge.
Letting out a low moan as he shoved himself deep inside of her, her back arched as she came to her own release. Even though he could feel his cum being released inside of her, he still found himself to be rather hard. This was... Unusual, to say the least. Going twice in succession was a perfectly common thing for him, but going twice this quickly? That was a bit unheard of. Kyrie was still coming down from her high, and he could see her chest heaving as her heart rate began to slow. Still, he wasn't going to let her think about what she'd done, not yet.
"We're not finished."
This statement was murmured huskily into her ear, and she let out a little squeak that turned into a moan as he lifted her up so that she was sitting upright in his lap with her back to his chest. It was here that she finally noticed that he was still hard inside of her, and her eyes widened in surprise. This was something she'd never experienced either; she'd gone twice in one night with Isaac before, but it had always been after a long break. She didn't know if her body could handle multiple times in a row so quickly.
"Don't think about it. Just act, lose yourself. Let your instincts reign supreme here."
His hands snaked their way up her dress now, moving underneath all of the material until he was groping the skin of her breasts directly. Immediately his fingers latched onto her nipples, pinching and rubbing them to get Kyrie to move her hips on her own. She was vaguely surprised in the back of her mind somewhere that her body was already begging to go again, but that thought promptly disappeared as Renard pushed up into her enough to get her to cry out.
"It's easier for you to move, Kyrie."
Nibbling on her ear once more, she blushed brightly in embarrassment at that turning away from him in a quiet refusal to his request. He made a bit of a lifting motion on her breasts though, and this did indeed succeed in prompting her to lift her hips. For a moment, she hesitated, her mind fighting with her body as it seemed to say that if she did this on her own then it would be more approval towards their depraved acts than she'd really shown so far. Another couple tweaks to her nipple was quick to remove that hesitation, and soon she was moving up and down on him. The moan this got from Renard caused the blush on her cheeks to just get worse, and she closed her eyes. Why did this feel so good? Why wasn't she resisting this more? Why did she want to hear him moan more? And most of all, why couldn't she seem to think of anything besides Renard?
Renard's release was close though, it would seem that it was more of a brief pause from the first one than a full second orgasm. So when he hit this, he let out a loud groan and Kyrie responded with a shudder, but her body did not tense like his had. Instead she panted as Renard held her hips still, the warmth gushing into her just making her want to move more to get to her own release. Even though Renard was softening inside of her, he still intended to get her to that release she wanted.
Pulling out of her rather quickly, she gasped as she felt the liquid dribble out of her. The smell of sex was clearly in the air, and it made her head fuzzy with lust. Renard angled her in his lap so that he'd have easy access to her stretched hole at this point, and he wasted no time in digging a few fingers inside of her. Kyrie hadn't been expecting this, and she let out a low moan of approval. It embarrassed her, to be honest, and she brought a hand up to cover her mouth.
"No, Kyrie. Not there."
Using his free hand, he moved the hand over to her mouth down to where he was pleasuring her, and he had her rest her hand on her own clit.
"Help me get you to release."
Kissing her neck then, the embarrassment she felt was superseded by the desire to cum, and her fingers began massaging. She knew where best to pleasure herself in this aspect, and combine that with Renard's thrusting fingers and she was fairly quick to come to another shuddering release of her own.
The two of them panted as Kyrie came down from her high, but Renard was still kissing along her spine. The moment they stopped Renard knew would be the moment that he would lose her. There was no way that she was going to keep coming back to him even if they had such mindblowing sex: there was just too much holding her back. He had to keep this going, even if he ended up going too far; she was too good to only get a taste of. Each kiss he gave to her spine caused her to twitch and it was through these soft kisses that she came to the realization that Renard had no intentions of letting her go. She'd been caught in his snare, and now he was going to work her for everything that she was worth.
"We're only just getting started, Kyrie."
Her body shuddered once more from the words whispered into her ear, but she could not resist as he descended upon her; even though there was a part of her exhausted from the evening's activities, a bigger part of her lusted for more of that wonderful tingling.
This night was Renard's, and neither of them would soon forget it.
