Chapter 1: Volume I: First Year Chapter 1: Reincarnation
My name is Edwin Varghese, I was an orphan and also I was an average Highschool student, who liked to goof around and read light novels, manga and watching anime and movies were my favourite hobbies. And, the reason I've been referring to my life in past tense, it's because I'm dead.
At the age of seventeen, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Not only that the doctors said that I won't be able to live past my eighteenth birthday. Well, that was when my hopes to be a successful person in life came crashing down. Even though my hopes were gone I was not depressed, you want to know why? That's because I had some close friends who were always there for me.
Right now, I am in this black void for some time. I'm pretty sure that this is the afterlife, but this is just plain boring. In every direction there's only black, endless black. Last thing I know is that I went to sleep in my bed and the next thing I know is that I'm in this black void.
Suddenly a blue screen appeared in front of me and a voice was heard.
[Congratulations! You have got a chance to reincarnate in any world you want!]
"What?" With a lot of confusion I asked.
[Dear Edwin, this is the procedure after a human being is dead. They will be reincarnated into a world of their own choosing with three wishes.]
"Wow..... So I can choose my new world and have four wishes?"
[Yes.]
"The world I want to be reborn in should be a normal world from animes, like my last world. So it should be random."
[That can be done. Now on to your wish.]
"My first wish is to have peak human condition from birth itself, my second wish is to have the talent of Saiba Joichiro in cooking, third wish is that whatever I eat, it won't be affect my physique in a bad way at all and my fourth wish is that, I won't get any kind of disease for hundred years old in this new life."
[That can be done.]
"Alright, that's done. Now what?"
[Good, now it's time for you to reincarnate. You will only unlock your memories when you are fourteen years old, and your wishes will be active from your birth itself so there won't be any kind of surprise to your family when you start doing crazy things suddenly. As for your first wish, it will only be achieved when your at the age of twenty three. Until then it will only gradually increase. That means, by the age of eighteen you will be at the level of Olympic-level athletes.]
"I'm okay with that. Thanks."

After that I lost my consciousness.

Waking up from my sleep, the first thing I did was brush my teeth. While brushing, I thought 'What should I give him as a gift since it's our birthday?'
Then rinsing my mouth, I closed the tap and was about to leave the toilet. But, memories and information started to flow into my brain, and I started to feel dizzy and nauseous.
So I went straight to the closest and threw up the bile that was in my stomach. After that was done, I went to wash my face and got out of the toilet to my room.
Reaching there, I layed down on my bed and started to think 'So I got reincarnated in the world of Haikyuu, I thought that it was all a ruse. But lucky me.... Mmm, great, now I'm his brother, that too his elder twin.... '
Right then the door to my room was opened and in came my brother with his loud voice "Hey hey hey! Wakey wakey, Ho-kun."
"If you call me like that again, I'll be taking away your gaming set."
That stopped him in his tracks and his face became droopy and said "Please don't! That's my life."
"Then call my name properly."
"Sure Hōtarō. Now let's go mom is calling us."
"I'll be there."
'Yeah, my twin is the future Simpleton Ace of Fukurōdani Academy, Kōtarō Bokuto. And my name is Hōtarō Bokuto, we're not the only kids, we have two elder sisters, first elder sister's name is Fumiko Bokuto and second elder sister's name is Kimiko Bokuto. They're five and three years older than us, respectively. So Fumiko-nee is in college now and Kimiko-nee is in the final year of High School. We both are in the final year of Middle School.'
After recounting all that I went downstairs to see mom and Kimiko-nee near the dining table with a cake on it, and I can see Kōtarō jumping around them.
Seeing me Kimiko-nee spoke "So the sleeply head is awake?"
"Yep"
"Then come on, he's been waiting for you to cut the cake." Mom said pointing at Kōtarō.
Smiling at that I said "Sure."
After cutting the cake we started to eat breakfast. Then me and Kōtarō went out to the back to practice volleyball. I only played with Kōtarō, never went to join the volleyball Club in school. But now, it's different as I didn't think that I'll be in the world of Haikyuu, I will have to join the club for fun. And since I haven't read the manga past the Inter-High tournament where Karasuno won by defeating Shiratorizawa, I won't be having much foreknowledge about this world after that. But I'm okay with that. If I know everything that will happen from now on its not fun.
