Chapter 18: The mysterious Box

After having looked at the box from every angle possible, Arion's arms had some time to relax. As he feels completely back to normal, he decides to attempt to open it. The moment he touches the box, he had already prepared himself that the box would "eat" again, but to his surprise it does not do it. He can not feel the same sensation as before. Even though the box does not suck in his powers, he can still feel the tingly sensation, that initially made him aware of the box. Arion is a bit confused by the situation as it makes him realize that he might understand less about his powers as he thought. He analyses the lock, or at least that what seems to be the lock, as it keeps the box from opening, to take a better look at it. As he thought, this lock does not have a keyhole. "If there really is no key to open it, how would one open such a box", Arion wonders. At that time he remembers the explanation from Orelia, that the box itself is magical, or at least described in such a way. On top of that it sucks his powers in, so there might be a possibility that it is locked by powers similar to his. Even though, he thinks with all his might on how to attempt to open the box, he can not come up with a good solution. Now that Arion is at the end of his thoughts he grabs the lock, to attempt to break it open by force. The same moment he touches the lock he can feel it sucking him in not the physical him, but himself. As he isn't sure what is going on, he attempts to directly let go of the lock, without success. His hands are not listening to him anymore. Whatever he tries to do,, pushing, pulling, twisting, he can't separate his hands from the lock. The longer he holds it in his hands, the more he seems to disappear inside of it. As Arion is unable to get his hands back for himself, he decides to let go, just being sucked in. "What can I do, and maybe this is the way you are supposed to open the lock?", he wonders. As his thoughts are running through his head, he has the impression that he can hear someone walk towards his room. But the more time passes the fainter th sound gets. Even though the person gets closer and closer, the sound seems to disappear. Now Arion can not hear anything, his vision seems to faint next. As his senses continue to vanish, Orelia gets closer and closer to his room and is about to enter it. But for Arion it seems like he is not in his room anymore. He stands in front of a giant door, located in the middle of nowhere. Not any nowhere, but really nowhere, there is no building, no wall nothing, just blackness, and a giant door.
