Chapter 16: Arion’s new Home
Finally the throne room's atmosphere has settled down and everyone accepts the decision that was made. Orelia giving out a large sigh that seems to be of relief turns her head towards Arion. "Come, I'll show you around and during that we'll grab the basic stuff what you need.", she says. Arion simply nods and makes his way towards her. During that time she has already gotten up and walks towards a door that lies slightly hidden. It is located on the right of the throne hidden between support pillars of the building. As Orelia and Arion are walking towards the door, Arion thinks he can hear Julius complain in the background. But he doesn't give it much thought.
The door leads to a small passageway, it has no windows and is lit by candles that are hanging on the walls. They seem to be walking for quite a while, but as they are walking through a complete sealed of corridor, Arion is unsure how far they have walked. Finally they are reaching a door, which Orelia opens with a key. "So it is locked", Arion thinks, "So either there a precious things here, or this is where the king and the princess sleep". The door is slowly opening, revealing a good lit entrance of a building. The door is located on the left side of the entrance just under a staircase. "This is where we live, and from now on this is where you live", Orelia proclaims. The surprise instantly is shown on Arion's face, he didn't even have time to attempt to hide it. His facial expression changed before he even realises himself. "I live in the same place as you?", Arion asks. "Obviously, You are my personal attendant how can you take care of all my needs if you are far away?", Orelia says. "That is yet to be decided, the match will be tomorrow", Arion answers. "Yes, just follow me I'll show you to your room", Orelia voices, "Your not even considering the possibility that I will lose the bet?", Arion asks. "As if, you beat that giant furry beast in a few hits, I don't think Julius has any hope of winning.", Orelia answers.
They walk to the first floor, where Orelia explains: "The big door on the left leads to my father's room, on the right corridor are our rooms". While walking to the right side of the first floor, Orelia points at two doors that lie directly opposed to each other. One on the left of the corridor the other on the right. "The left room is mine, the right one is yours", she says, while she opens Arion's new room. The room has everything anyone needs, a nice bed, a small a large window and a bit of space on the left and right. But considering the size of the corridor, the room seems a bit small as it isn't filling the whole space. After they take a quick look at Arion's room, Orelia shows him her room. This instantly explains why his seems to be smaller, her room reaches all the way around the corridor, it is at least four times the size of his. While they are in her room she says: "Downstairs are kitchen, dining room, living room and a giant bath in the back. But now we need to get you your stuff. Mainly your clothes, and lastly we will go to the weaponry, I heard my father promised you a sword".
While walking downstairs Orelia slightly shouts: "Walter, did you prepare the clothes for my personal attendant?". A voice can be heard: "Of course Princess", but Arion is unable to perceive the person that said those words. As they arrive back at the entrance of the building, an elderly man in an attire that similares that of a butler appears. He holds several clothes and hands them to Arion, while making a weird expression. It seems that he is surprise by Arion's appearance, but it is not the face of disgust that everyone else makes. He just seems surprised, "Here you go, you better have a bath before changing", he says, "Follow me". Arion simply does as he is told. As he enters the bath, he is amazed, it is big, extremely big, at least hundred people can fit in at the same time. Considering that Orelia is waiting outside, He hurries with the bath and changes into his new clothes. Now back at the entrance, Orelia seems to analyze him with a bit of a gaze and says: "Good, now let's get moving", while turning around towards the entrance door. Orelia and Arion leave the building and walk back towards the castle, they take a big entrance to the side. Arion still a little bit confused about the layout of the whole construction is unsure where they are going. He is sure that they are going to the armory and they are going downstairs, so basically underground. They very soon reach a door guarded by man, they instantly open the door when they see Orelia. "Finally I get to see the swords", Arion thinks.
