Chapter 149: En Sabah Nur 1

En Sabah Nur placed his hands on the cell phone and used its powers to communicate with technology to access information about what happened on Earth since he was betrayed and went to sleep. He saw that over a thousand years had passed since he disappeared from the world.

Many governments emerged, and kings and emperors no longer existed. The world was now divided into countries, and peace was only possible because the governments of larger countries feared a nuclear war that could end the planet.

En Sabah Nur searched and saw that the mutants who once dominated part of the Earth under his leadership now hid, and normal people thought they were legends. The heroes who were now worshipped were human heroes who had different powers or used technology to protect weak humans.

For En Sabah Nur, who believed that only the strong should have the right to survive and rule, seeing heroes protecting the weak annoyed him. He was also annoyed that the mutants who came to find him were powerful like these heroes but were hiding instead of leading humans.

"Did you come here to awaken me? Do you know me?" En Sabah Nur asked.

"Yes, En Sabah Nur, I am Magneto. We came here to awaken you. We read stories about you from a time when mutants ruled the world. Unfortunately, in the current time, even though we are powerful, we have to hide from humans," said Magneto.

"Why? Because of governments? Nuclear weapons?" asked En Sabah Nur.

"So, you already know about it. Yes, it's because of them. Governments have armies and police with millions of people around the world. In war, most mutants would die, but the problem isn't just ordinary humans," said Magneto.

"Mutants themselves are divided. My Brotherhood of Mutants wants mutants to rule the world as we are superior. Other mutants, who call themselves X-Men, want mutants to hide and allow humans to dominate the world," said Magneto.

"Besides the governments and other mutants who oppose us, there are also the heroes, the Avengers, who don't want us to see us dominating humanity. They call us villains and will stop us from taking control of the world," said Magneto.

Magneto was intelligent and knew that En Sabah Nur might not be an ally of the mutants, so he thought it would be better to direct his anger toward the Avengers, governments, and the X-Men.

En Sabah Nur was intelligent, having ruled over humanity for centuries, but he had just awoken and was thinking of dominating all of humanity again, just as he had in the past. He believed that he would have to destroy the governments, and the Avengers, and make the X-Men recognize their mistakes.

But what Magneto had forgotten was that En Sabah Nur had just been betrayed before he was put to sleep. Therefore, he knew he had to take care of Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants before fighting against other groups.

"I have to save this world. I will show humans what true power is and that mutants should be the leaders of Earth. I will lead mutants to a time of glory, just as I did in the past," said En Sabah Nur.

"You will be the first mutants to follow me and will be rewarded when the world is ours. Magneto, you are the leader of these mutants, so you will also be one of the generals of my army. You will be the first of the Horsemen of Apocalypse," said En Sabah Nur.

En Sabah Nur did not wait for Magneto's response and began to use his powers to change Magneto's genetics, thus strengthening his mutant powers, while also forcing the message into Magneto's mind that he should serve him as his god.

Magneto did not expect En Sabah Nur to do this. He was wearing a helmet that protected his mind, but En Sabah Nur's power altered not only his mind but also his genetics. Magneto had a strong will and tried to resist.

En Sabah Nur enjoyed seeing Magneto resist, which showed that he was powerful and had a strong will. En Sabah Nur stimulated Magneto's hatred and anger so that he would seek more power and stop resisting.

Just as En Sabah Nur had hoped, Magneto soon felt his anger and hatred increasing. He was filled with rage and hatred towards the humans who had killed his parents, towards the X-men who were too cowardly to take control of the world, and towards Jack who was too powerful and had threatened to kill him.

With this hatred fueling him, Magneto stopped resisting and sought power. He wanted to be stronger so that all mutants, humans, and heroes would fear him, showing that mutants were superior to humans.

"That's it, my son, you don't need to resist. Accept this new power that I am giving you, accept this power that you have always dreamed of, and you will be able to follow me and see the mutants dominate the humans," said En Sabah Nur.

"Lower your hand, feel the metal in the ground, and you will discover that you have the power to move the very Earth," said En Sabah Nur.

Soon, Magneto placed his hands on the ground, and the ground began to tremble. Magneto was pulling the metal out of the ground and destroying it, turning the houses around him into a powder made of metal.

"Your power will be the beginning. We will destroy everything that the humans have built, and then we will rebuild everything with the humans leading," said En Sabah Nur.

Magneto continued to destroy things and kill some people who could not escape in time. Mystique, who had joined the Brotherhood of Mutants, realized that Magneto was accepting being controlled, and the other mutants didn't care.

Mystique also hated humans because they feared and despised her appearance. Moreover, she saw many mutants suffering from prejudice, some being used for illegal research and killed because of it.

She saw mutants being used as slaves for heavy labor and even being used for prostitution. Therefore, Mystique couldn't agree with Charles Xavier's idea of coexisting with humans because humans didn't want to live in peace with mutants.

But she never thought of committing genocide or killing people for pleasure. She only killed people when she deemed it necessary, even though she knew it was wrong because she knew that humans also killed mutants.
