Chapter 150: En Sabah Nur 2

Therefore, Mystique often followed Magneto and often acted alone to help mutants, but this time, Mystique knew that Magneto was wrong. He was angry and afraid of Jack and the Avengers and felt betrayed by the mutants who were with the X-Men.

Mystique didn't even need to investigate to know that Magneto was hiding something about this En Sabah Nur. So even though she didn't want to be with the Brotherhood of Mutants when they awakened the Apocalypse, she wanted to see how En Sabah Nur would act.

As she thought, shortly after waking up, En Sabah Nur already wanted to dominate Magneto and the mutants of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Since not even Magneto could resist En Sabah Nur, it seemed that this mutant was really powerful, and soon the rest of the Brotherhood of Mutants would fall into his hands.

Mystique was thinking of going to the X-Mansion to tell the X-Men that Magneto had awakened an ancient mutant god in Egypt and that this god wanted to destroy humanity, but she waited when she saw that Magneto had stopped destroying things and had adapted to the new power.

"Well done, my son, you have finally awakened your true power. With this power, we can eliminate the weak of this world and thus the mutants will dominate again," said En Sabah Nur.

En Sabah Nur looked at the other mutants of the Brotherhood of Mutants and thought that perhaps Sabretooth and Juggernaut would be good candidates for him to improve their power and thus make them Horsemen of Apocalypse.

Magneto realized what En Sabah Nur was thinking. He became much more powerful and now he would be able to destroy the Earth if he risked his life to do so, but he knew that Apocalypse was controlling his mind, so he didn't want En Sabah Nur to turn the members of the Brotherhood of Mutants into Horsemen of Apocalypse.

"En Sabah Nur, I understand that you have to choose other Horsemen of Apocalypse. I don't know how many you intend to choose, but I know of some good candidates who are powerful and are in the X-Men," said Magneto.

"We who have come here are already your followers. If you can increase the powers of everyone here, we will certainly better help in the future war against the X-Men and the Avengers," said Magneto.

"But if you can increase your power and control a few mutants, I suggest you choose some of the X-men as the next Horsemen of Apocalypse," said Magneto.

En Sabah Nur looked at Magneto and thought about what he said. En Sabah Nur knew that Magneto wanted to harm other X-men to control them, but Magneto could no longer betray him. Therefore, Magneto was right in saying that it was better to force the loyalty of enemies than allies.

"Tell me who the mutants you recommend are and what their current abilities are," said En Sabah Nur.

So Magneto gave the entire list of the 10 strongest X-men mutants and what their abilities were. En Sabah Nur listened to the mutants and had to admit that some were more powerful than Juggernaut and Sabretooth.

En Sabah Nur's powers worked better on mutants who had almost reached their maximum potentials, such as Magneto, Juggernaut, and Sabretooth. Therefore, despite being powerful, En Sabah Nur would not go after Jean Grey, Rogue, Magik, Bobby, or others who still had to improve.

He was also temporarily uninterested in Charles Xavier. He could take his power in the future when he ended governments, X-men, and Avengers. With so many enemies, it would be dangerous to be exposed to gain Charles Xavier's powers.

So En Sabah Nur chose Cyclops, Storm, and Angel, who had almost reached their maximum potential. Thus, En Sabah Nur could better control their minds after manipulating their genetics to strengthen them.

"Very well, my son. I will strengthen the mutants who are here, and my Horsemen of Apocalypse will be members of the rebellious mutants. They can face the X-men and then threaten the governments," said En Sabah Nur.

"We can threaten the governments while killing millions of humans with their powers, my son. Therefore, we will attract the Avengers to a fight. I will kill the Avengers and prove the superiority of mutants on this Earth," said En Sabah Nur.

Mystique heard En Sabah Nur and knew that she was right before. This Apocalypse was as dangerous as his name suggested. The others in the Brotherhood of Mutants liked chaos or would always follow Magneto. Now that Erik was under control, Mystique couldn't count on any of them.

Thus Mystique had no choice but to seek out the X-men so they could face the Apocalypse and the mutants of the Brotherhood. If Magneto and En Sabah Nur were not stopped, millions of people would die, and that was not what Mystique wanted to see.

Mystique was in a hurry, so she disguised herself to catch the first flight that took less time to get to New York. Raven thought she still had time to warn the X-men since Apocalypse said he would strengthen the other mutants of the Brotherhood before going after the X-men.

Mystique soon regretted it when she realized it took 17 hours for her to reach New York. Since Raven was very anxious, she didn't even sleep on the plane and was very tired when she took a taxi to go to the X-mansion.

At least Raven knew it would take some time before En Sabah Nur arrived with the Brotherhood of Mutants. Shortly after Raven arrived, Cyclops, Beast, and Wolverine came to greet her. The X-men didn't trust Mystique, so they came prepared for a fight, even though it didn't seem like Raven wanted a fight.

"Mystique, what are you doing here? It's hard not to see you disguised or with the other members of the Brotherhood of Mutants," said Logan.

"I didn't come here to fight. I think the Earth is in danger. Magneto is blinded by hate and has awakened a mutant god. This mutant god wants to take over the Earth and has managed to control Magneto's mind. The other members of the Brotherhood of Mutants are following him now," said Raven.

"What kind of scheme are you planning now, Mystique? Gods don't exist, let alone a mutant god. Are you trying to lead us into a trap?" asked Scott, suspicious.

The other mutants also didn't believe Mystique. She was always known for lying and deceiving everyone, it was like second nature to her. Mystique even lied and manipulated Rogue, who was her daughter, before she went to the X-mansion.
