Chapter 98: Loss of the driver

The man Journee was staring at was the man, the driver, whole of NYPD was searching. Not only NYPD, but Boston PD were also on the job.

Tears from Journee's eyes were on the verge of falling after looking at the dead family. It took her back to her own experience when she saw her own family being murdered just like that. A few of them were shot and her brother died after his throat was cut. This crime scene was sure to give her another nightmare.

She calmed herself as she had a lot of work to do. The loss of the driver meant that the last straw needed to tie the chemicals with the Hall family went down the drain. Now she had no evidence against Zion. He was sure to get free after the court date. She had no idea what to feel, should she be calm to carry out the investigation, should she feel sad about the family lying in the pool of their own blood or should she feel angry that Zion was about to walk free?
