Chapter 92: The Ritual

Aurora stared at the chapel and her body trembled, her knees weakened.

Drake looked at her and said, "We're finally here!"

Aurora took a deep breath. "I... I can't do it..." she finally said, tears shimmering in her eyes.

Drake sighed, shaking his head. "Honey, you have to do it. You can't say no. Besides we're already here, there's no turning back now. You have to prove to my family that you are deserving of a second chance at life. Remember that you're supposed to die tonight along with the others but I save you. Give us one good reason why you have to live. Only by killing the rest of the women will you be able to gain my parents' trust and become one of us," he explained in a gentle voice.

Aurora bit her lip, feeling desperate for a way out. She looked heavenward, asking God for a miracle.

Drake grabbed her hand and pulled her inside the chapel.
