With a bleeding heart, Drake climbed the stairs, left the chapel, and addressed the servants waiting outside. "Remove the corpses from the basement and bury them in the mass grave," he ordered and glanced at the house maids huddling in the corner. "Clean the basement and make sure not a stench of blood lingers in the air after you finish cleaning the entire place," he commanded.

"Yes, my lord!" the servants replied in unison and entered the chapel.

Drake remained outside, looking at the full moon above, feeling distraught, wondering where he went wrong in reminding Aurora that as long as she cooperates with them, she will be safe. The thing that he didn't expect was that Aurora was brave and bold enough to attack his grandfather that can not be killed with stab wounds so easily.
