Chapter 324: For His sake

"....ne..ane.Zane? Buddy?" Levi's voice echoed in his ears bringing him back to the present. His initial pain turned to worry for his beloved.

"Are you okay?" he asked softly, gaze glued onto Arya who was now composed. Her red-rimmed eyes told the tales of grief and sorrow, hidden beneath the anger she showcased proudly.

He could see the stubborn rage and aggressiveness in how she was clenching and unclenching her fist. Levi sighed again.

He was the one supposed to ask Zane if he was okay. He just got ambushed by his love rival. He couldn't imagine what the man must be feeling.

As for Arya, Levi decided to push her thoughts to the back of his mind. He could understand her feelings but also felt a little disappointed in her actions.

She was still stubborn and irrational and emotions were involved. Perhaps that was what made him love her even more. It just felt wrong that she attacked Zane.
