Chapter 1: chapter 1 my roommate
'my name is Inko I'm an art major in college. And I'm living on my own for the first time in my life but that's okay because I have an amazing roommate. Mars is definitely the best roommate ever!'
Inko walked in through the front door, Mars was slouched on their couch with his eyes closed listening to music through his headphones. Inko crept up behind the couch swinging his arms around Mars "I'm home" he said with a sweet tone to his voice,
Mars jumped a little in Surprise before turning the volume on his music down and pulling off his headphones "I see you are" he said smiling up at Inko.
Inko rested his chin on Mars's shoulder from behind with a deep sigh "ugh I have so much homework to do" he said with a hint of irritation in his voice,
"I thought you liked doing homework?" Said Mars looking amused. "no one likes doing homework idiot" Inko said irritably.
"I guess that's true" Mars said cautiously sensing Inko's irritation,
"well how about you go get started on that homework and I'll make us some dinner?" Mars said with a smile Inko looked at him brightly "yeah that sounds nice. sorry if I was being a bit rude" "it's fine I know how grumpy you can be on an empty stomach" Mars said with a slight chuckle,
"Haha very funny" Inko said sarcastically while beginning to walk to his room, he looked back for a moment to see Mars making his way into the kitchen,
'I really do have the best roommate don't I?' he thought to himself closing the door behind him. "ugh well I have to do this stupid homework now"
30 or so minutes had passed when Inko heard a light knock at his door. "come in" he called from his desk, Mars open the door smiling at him "dinner's ready" he said happily "okay" said Inko placing down his pen and getting up from his desk to join Mars at the table,
Inko sat down at the table and looked at the pasta with a homemade white sauce Mars had made for dinner, "smells good" he commented before picking up his fork and tasting a bite.
after dinner Inko curled up on the couch with Mars snuggling into his side. "sigh we don't get to do this very often anymore do we?" "no we really don't. combined with facts that I have a job and both of us are going to College it makes it a little harder" "all the more reason we should cherish it" Inko said happily, Mars chuckled softly curling up closer to Inko "yeah you're right" he said in a quiet voice,
'it's too bad it can't always be like this' Mars thought to himself, he glanced down at Inko who was happily snuggled into his side 'nah it's better this way'
