Chapter 201: Chapter 201 Sweet Torture

Upon Jack's arrival, Eddison got up. He watched as Jack walked up the stairs.

"Mr. Zellweger, what's wrong? You sounded urgent on the phone. Where's Mrs. Zellweger?" Jack was panting. He ran here after getting out of the car.

Without a response, Eddison turned around and knocked on Caroline's door.

"Honey, Dr. Luther is here," Eddison said.

A few seconds later, Caroline opened the door.

"Hello Dr. Luther, I was resting just now. I don't think there's anything wrong with me, but I was a little shocked earlier," Caroline explained.

Instead of telling Jack the truth, her words were more like a message to Eddison that she was doing fine. She knew Eddison was worried about her.

"Sure, I'll just do a check-up to make sure you're okay. Besides, you should go for your regular check-ups too," Jack replied.

Caroline stepped aside and invited Jack in. Eddison followed and walked into her room.
