It was the day that Katherine and Damien were supposed to leave the Mansion and go back to the city in the afternoon. They hadn't told Grandfather Theo yet, and they planned to tell him over lunch. Katherine was a little sad to leave, but she knew it was best for both her and Damien to go back to their penthouse.
