This is probably my least favorite novel on Webnovel. It's sooo shallow. I know there are tons of cliche "betrayal, white lotus little sister with ex-fiance, new love with powerful hot man" but this one is the worst out of all of them. The FL spends almost all her time wallowing in despair and heartache and doesn't do sh*t about her problems. There's also lots of nonsense about her "cold eyes that have hints of so and so emotion." If they have emotion, they aren't cold! The dialogues often feel copy-pasted, especially the ones between FL and her sister. At least put some effort into the dialogue, if nothing else... next, there's too much drama, too few explanations. We're thrown right into the story (which is fine, lots of novels are like that) but we don't get any substantial explanation/backstory even after 15 chapters. That is NOT fine. If we are to enjoy the story, we should get the backstory. Of course, the backstory is probably some abominably cliche sh*t like "I was in love with my ex-fiance when he suddenly got stolen away by my sister, etc etc" but it would be nice to know the details, right? Right? Also, I read through the first 15 chapters and all of it had some kind of crazy dramatic dialogue, lots of crying, etc. Evidently, the author(s) is fond of mindless drama. Kind of like people who think that the amount of kisses in a relationship determines the amount of love their partners have for them. I regret voting for this novel. Even the plot synopsis is terribly unoriginal and boring. If this review gets taken down, that just shows that whoever wanted it taken down is as shallow as this novel. Such bad taste!

Reasons why I LOVE this story: 1. It is not rushed. I mean the story development is in a very steady pace. 2. It is not exaggerated. The scenes are very realistic and the sweetness of the romance is to my liking --Mild. Moreover, the drama does not go overboard. 3. It is unique. It is not like any other romantic stories that sticks to certain cheesy dialogues and scenarios. I get that its topic on arrange marriage and betrayal is mainstream but it's charm is within its simplicity. 4. The Characters. The personality and perspective of each character is well portrayed in the story. What more, the pacing in introducing new characters is very satisfactory. 5. The translation is excellent and the sentence structures are very ****** to comprehend.

I love the strong and independent attitude of the female lead, I strongly recommend this novel if you're looking for some mystery with a hint of romance😏. P.S if you have read Hidden marriage you're gonna love this one.😘😘😘😘
Well I wanted to ask if this was a completed novel but then I read thestatsguy then boom I've figured it out but there is this one thing I hope wouldn't happen and that would be the use of ss but we all know its going to happen so I'll just hope that the use off ss would start maybe at chapter 1800+ *I'm being shameless*😜😜😜

I like the story... don't need a flashback it is common sense, since the story will be the same that the guy became completely idiot to cheat with a scheming b*cth... and when you say drama well it's okay... if is just the start.... just keep reading i'd like to see if the FL-female lead is not stupid and will divert her all attention to the ML- male lead and completely disregard that other useless fool, I'm going to read this till the just keep going. Can I know how frequent will the translator update? twice a day? thrice a day? and can you please every friday at least 5 chapters or massive release hehe. please don't update once a day... If you are bored of reading how the main male lead falls in love with the female lead at first sight then this story is for you. Letting love mature as time went on is really practical and realistic which is why I am in love reading this story. 😍❤😍❤ Though there are times I want to stop reading because of all the drama but I couldn't help myself and start reading it again.
I’m pleasantly surprised that whilst the plot formula is cliche, the execution is unlike other CEO romance stories where the ML is usually portrayed in an unrealistic god-like, alpha male manner. The ML here is Low key, gentlemanly and rationale. I usually steer clear of melodramatic stories as I tire of them easily. The story has its share of drama and face slapping however, it’s written in a believable way and I actually found myself not annoyed by them. I like how the romance progressed naturally for the ML and FL. I like how they communicate as a wedded couple. It’s definitely slow building but its to be expected for such a Long story. The character design of this story is great. In addition to the main plot of the MC, I’m invested in side characters’ subplots too for eg. I enjoyed reading about both the ML and FL’s parents’ complicated love life (or lack thereof). The author’s realistic portrayal of different kinds of love in the story is commendable. I’m not sure if I will finish this Long story. But for now my interest is piqued.
I voted for this novel thinking that it will be a good one. However, 15 chapters already and no flashback yet. The author is good for evoking sadness. This made me cry like for real. I just hope that the characters will develop already. Gosh, I don't like slow moving novels. Like it's too tiring to read.
This is one of the most beautiful stories on Webnovel. It's about a power couple who try their best to get along with the world despite their shortcomings. The love between them is not something cheesy but open, bold and sweet. They're no war heroes but are brave hearted warriors in their own way.
Why magical realism I think this was a romance genre right ? Because it's seem like that as a story flows can you update everyday please this novel was interesting 🥰

4.2 since the depressing start! I heard it would be better but since I don't see it yet, I would keep this review like this until the story get better! I will delete this one and change into better one if it's improved! By the way I have high expectations with this novel! So far so good. It one the the typical step siblings falling the the ex and acting like a lotus clean upfront but muddy inside. Like a saying after a strom there will be a rainbow the FL has someone better. If you like Hidden Marriage, this one would be for you. Update is regularly so you dont have to wait for long for bew chapters, even though there are 2000+ chapters. Just hoping that karma will gies to whoever should recieve it
Now this, I believe , is going to be a bittersweet but a beautiful redemption love story of two broken souls. So far, the story has managed to keep me glued and I'm so curious about what will happen next. Two souls that were broken in the past meet each other, understand each other even when there is hardly any conversation. What can be more beautiful than that?
After reading these 15 chapters, what can I say is it reminds me of First Marriage then Love and it got trial marriage vibes. Im waiting for better development of this story as it doesnt reach even a quarter of the translation yet. But I can feel the dragging and slow story development already. The emotion is described thoroughly yet reveal nothing of the back story. Maybe for someone that dont have the patient, dont read yet just stockpile the chapters first
