There would be nothing but silence within the room. There was nothing but shock from everyone in the room, nobody really knew him, but since he was partially existing within the world now his presence brought a feeling of odd familiarity that could just not be shaken, but for the skeleton brothers it was completely different. A shooting pain would go inside their heads as memories would flood within their heads now like a stream in flashes.. It was all coming back. Gaster would have wandered over to them and placed a hand on their heads it seemed to ease the pain that they had felt. "Settle down now it will be alright." He would then step back from them until they were then seemingly fully adjusted, yet everyone of course had questions for the man, but Papyrus had a question first as he seemed a bit distraught but there was some pressing question in his head. "Where is our mother?" Gaster seemed to blank out and scratched his skeletal chin. "A tale for another day my son." Then the old king of the monsters cleared his throat and spoke up. "Tell us your name, and how exactly you ended up like that in the first place please." Gaster would then give a slight bow towards the king of monsters showing a form of respect. "Ah yes my name is Doctor W.D Gaster. I used to be your old royal scientist. That was until the accident that happened with the core, it was quite horrendous. After I fell into it I was erased from existence entirely and erased from all of your memories, yet I was still there. Pieces of me were scattered around all time and space I've been able to see into different timelines universes even though it was all so very very interesting. I would like to apologize to you Asgore, and Toriel for my failure with my experiment, which is truly shameful, but I certainly have become far better than I was before during the time in the void where I resided." After he was done speaking the faint feeling of familiarity would come further and further into fruition as his existence came partially back into the world. Now they would all remember, besides for Frisk of course because she never truly knew them. Dr Alphys would have seemed to have a rather grand reaction to the memory of Gaster, she being a fellow scientist and knew of his works which had been some of the best she had seen, and the talk of these alternate times and worlds were all so fascinating. She would love to talk to him more later. A bit of silence would then be interrupted once more by Papyrus; he seemed to suddenly be in good spirits smiling towards his father though he had little memory of him because he was quite young when he was there. "Wowie! I have a father and they have come back. You must try some of my spaghetti and ramen. They are magnificent! I bet you are starving after all that time in a void. Do not fear I always keep some on me." Out of nowhere Papyrus suddenly took out a bowl of what seemed to be ramen noodles in broth with spaghetti sauce on them. Gaster looked curiously at the strange concoction and took it while eating the weird noodle dish, but it was surprisingly good. It even raised his maximum hp. "That is quite amazing Papyrus" Papyrus sure seemed happy and then Sans would chime in once more "So my theory about these alternate worlds really was true, thought so." "I am pleased you continued your research's Sans, you proved to have quite the potential." Shiro and Sora were both hiding behind Toriel, there was something about the man's appearance that they found rather creepy, but when they both peered out and stared at him they would be noticed "Eek he's looking at us" "Do you think he's gonna eat us Shiro?!" "I hope not.. It's Mr Sans's dad, maybe they are nice." A slight snort would be remarked within the room from the reaction of the children. Gaster himself would walk closer to Toriel, but only looking at the children behind her. "Greetings you two. I have been wanting to see you for quite some time now looking in from the void. You both have rather unique souls. I wonder how you will grow.." Toriel would then interrupt abruptly after "Well Mr. Gaster, we have room for you to stay around us if you would like, since you would probably like to be around your children?" "I would like that indeed though I shall come later. I would like to converse more with Dr. Alphys and see around this lab. Sans since you are in this field as well you may stay. This could be a learning experience for you." With that concluded everyone left the lab besides Alphys, Gaster, Sans and Undyne as well watching from the side just to make sure everything goes well. Who knows what so much time in a void could really do to someone? Now they all sat at a circular table. Sans had one last inquiry though. " So pops, tell me how you knew about that thing, before it even happened?" Gaster would seem to respond to it quite normally. "The pieces of my body were not only scattered around timelines and universes in this time, but in the past, present, and future, I could see it all. Within our future I noticed something. The threat before us was something I could see. Though something is interesting, that threat was actually enhanced by some weird force from another timeline. Every time I look for the cause of this my memory of it is erased by this very thing and I am unable to see what it is." Sans banged his hand on the table in frustration, but then took a deep breath calling down, this was a lot tougher than he had previously thought. "We are not ready for a threat like this. Do you know what we should do?" Alphys would speak up into the conversation "Well as things have seemed to get more and more dangerous, I have been working on a side project. It's like a training simulator that can actually affect the body" Gaster would say" Quite swell, but then what is the main project that it was you're working on." Alphys would then continue "Oh ah shouldn't you know that already? Well it was actually a machine to perhaps peer into other universes, then work on complete travel since I also agreed to the multiverse theory." Gaster then adds on "Well just because I can see everything everywhere at once, does not mean I always want to. That would not be something I want. Anyways let us get to work." Now Sans would have cracked his bones, loosening up his joints. "Well then let's finish up that work now." Sans would put on a labcoat now with them and they would begin to get to work. Now back at the house then or rather for now out in the forest some time later there would be Asgore, Axis, and Toriel sitting on a side of a picnic blanket. On the other sat Frisk, Chara, and Shiro.. Hiding behind a tree in the distance was Sora who just looked on. He felt kind of off since he was not a part of the family while they were having a picnic. Shiro would look between her two big sisters beside her while the little picnic commenced to sort of bond more with each other with Asgore's arrival. Shiro would then speak as she had some fish in her mouth now that she was eating right now. "Sisters uh what was old dad like." Well they would sort of start sweating because some of the stuff that they would have to explain was not quite pleasant so they would cut those parts out. Chara then would speak of course as she knew him the most. "When I was little and I was first adopted. I could tell you that he was quite nice, but also he was super strong and could be rather stern. With his authority he was a grand king who always knew what to do. He could be there like a superhero whenever he was needed." She would speak with quite a nice tone elevating her sense of affection for him. Frisk would then continue. "When I first met him, he was a bit meaner, but all he wanted to do was help out all the monsters so I didn't blame him. Then we all got out on the surface. He has done nothing but good things here ya know now I bet he is still awesome." Shiro would then look towards Asgore with a look of wonder. Now he really seemed super cool to her. On the other side of the mat the adults were speaking with each other. Toriel then spoke first. "It has been quite some time since we have had a proper conversation. Tell me what have you been up to. You probably know what I have been doing." Asgore would respond. "Well I am not exactly doing much interesting as you have taken over most of the ruling for the monsters, but I enjoy my time at my tea and flower shop." He would have offered both of them a cup of tea which they promptly took. "That sounds pleasant Asgore. Sometimes I wish I could go back to a more lax life." Toriel would finish. Axis would have picked up to be involved in the chat though first extended his hand towards Asgore which Asgore took and shook. "I haven't really met you so it's nice to do so now. No hard feelings between us I hope?" Asgore would nod with a smile "None at all. I am quite pleased by what you do. Perhaps a better king than I" Axis would shake his head from side to side. "You were in a complicated situation. You only wanted the best as fast as possible." It would seem they could quite get along with each other. With them going to speak more suddenly Shiro ran up onto Asgore and went to hug him with one big embrace. It felt oh so fluffy the fur on his body was nice like a big pillow. "Sorry, I just wanted to hug ya! You aren't some big scary meanie like I thought." Asgore would look confused. "Who told you that about me?" There was an interruption of that question as Toriel looked over into the forest seeing Sora. "Sora come along now I see you, no need to be spying. I have some food for you too." Sora came out from behind the tree a bit nervously now. Shiro had looked around, turning to him as her eyes widened, happy to see him, even though she just saw him not too long ago. Shiro then got on all fours like a real fox and rushed right towards him crashing into him then hugging him on the ground looking excitedly at him. Sora would seem rather flustered in this situation. "Shiroo~ don't do that." "Oh okay!" She then gets off of him walking back over to the mat with him now. Shiro grabs a sandwich and hands it backwards towards Sora. "Here for you. And don't hide like that, you are fine to be with the rest of us. You are my bestest friend ever." Sora's embarrassment would turn into happiness as he hears this eating the sandwich from out of the hand of Shiro. "Shiro, we should go on an adventure sometime soon that would be absolutely epic!" Shiro would give a quick nod with practical stars in her eyes that would be so cool. Axis would overhear this and would comment. "No adventuring for today little ones. Besides, you have things to prepare for in time." Axis then looked at Toriel confused and looked back at them with realization. "Well we will tell you at a proper time." Shiro and Sora would both groan as they were to be put in suspense for quite some time now. And for now that is where this chapter concludes.
