Porshe placed her hand on Xix's forehead, then began scanning it with the pink light. She was ensuring there was no tissue damage or concussion. "He's a complicated man, that Xasha. His personality is so kind, gentle, and innocent. You would never expect him to be so cutthroat when the situation calls for it."

"I don't think it is strange at all. Everyone has two sides with Xasha; he shows all his good sides to his allies and his bad sides to his enemy. I admire that about him," Xix said with a fond smile.

"Me too, child, me too." Porshe smiled. She looked up at Xix and saw the look in her eye when she spoke about Xasha, then shook her head with a pitiful smile.

"Child..."

"I know." Xix hung her head. "It's just emotions. It will pass, right?" She looked at Porshe expectantly.
