Chapter 245: Meridian

"Who is your son?" Asked Megan with an ugly face.

"Omi," was Ana's nonchalant reply.

The two went silent. Xasha and Megan saw it, but they didn't see it. It was visible in how Ana treated Omi and how he respected her. But, that... she was his elder and much more powerful, of course, he listened to and respected her.

She was a loving and friendly person. Why wouldn't she baby and pamper him? From the looks of things, she babied and pampered everybody. She was like the mother of the entire temple.

Their close relationship really didn't lead to any inkling that the two were related. The fact that the two looked nothing alike added to their confusion. Except for eye color, they couldn't be further apart in appearance.

No matter how much he scrunched, turned his head, or racked his brain, he still couldn't see it. "Are you sure?" He asked when he couldn't take it anymore.

"What do you mean, if I'm sure?" Ana seemed offended.
