Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Not knowing, the window at the other side suddenly opened revealing the guy that moved in yesterday. He look at my direction with those sparkling blue eyes of his and this reminded me of the same blue eyes I saw in the bush last night. He kept looking at me giving me some scaring looks then I quickly pulled the curtains to cover the window.

I couldn't understand anything but I decided to find out the mystery behind all that happened to me. We left the house taking a stroll down the road that leads to one of playing field in Oxford street.

I sat down on one of the benches while Alice and Jessica started playing football with the ball they came along with. I kept thinking about the new guy suddenly and I could feel his eyes on me then I turned to look around but there's no sign of him there.

I turn to look at my closest pals playing then I felt the same gaze on me again. " what's happening to me" I asked myself and closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. " Are you okay" I heard a voice asking me then I opened my eyes and saw Jessica standing in front of me with the ball in her hand. " I don't know what is wrong me" I answered her and she left the ball on the floor and sat by me.

" you can tell me what's wrong with you" she asked again " something is not right somewhere" I said to her " are you sure it not your thoughts that is worrying you about something" she asked but I kept quiet without answering her. " Let go back home" I broke up the silence finally " but we just arrived here" Alice blarbed out from behind. " look, if you ain't ready to leave then am going back home" I said I left them behind. I walked until they were out of my sight.

After walking for some distance, the whole street was quiet the only thing you could hear was my footsteps. I don't know why the street became silent all of a sudden.

I continue walking then I heard footsteps behind me. I turned to look at who it was but immediately I turned, the sound stopped and there was no one behind me also. I kept walking then the sound came back again so I turned and looked behind me but still there was no one.

I decided to double my steps in order to get home early so I didn't look behind while I kept walking alone. Within no time someone taped me on the shoulder then I started screaming " what's wrong with you" I heard a voice while another voice started laughing.

" come on girl there's nothing here" the voice said again and this time around it sounded like that of Jessica's so I opened my eyes and saw Alice and Jessica standing in front of me " Jesus Christ you scared the hell out of me" I said while hitting Jessica on the shoulder.

" sorry dude we didn't mean to scare you" Jessica said still laughing at me "it ain't funny girls" I told them and walk away from them. " wait for us" they run faster and joined me but I didn't mind them and entered the house and went upstairs and closed the door behind me.

I went to the washroom and wash my face pushing my hair aside and look at myself in the mirror looking miserable. Ever since those people moved to the neighborhood everything about me became miserable " I'd better stay away from that boy" I said to myself and wipe the water from my face with the towel.

" today's class with the maths teacher was very boring" Alice broke the silence when we went out for lunch " I didn't really enjoy the lesson we had also" I joined Alice telling her how our teacher was adding words in order to explain a topic to us " what the teacher did was really crazy he didn't even notice the students were not getting what he was teaching" Jessica added.

" I felt sick during the whole lesson until the period was over" I exclaimed then we kept talking and laughing till something caught our attention " OMG is that not the new guy and his sister" Jessica shouted dropping her cup of coffee on the floor " technically yes" Alice added looking excited. I kept looking at them until they entered the principals office. " Are they coming to school here" Jessica asked " I bet they're going to school here with us" Alice said.

This two were making me sick already with the new guy coming to join us in our school. They came out within some period and their dad followed them out of the office holding some papers in his hand.

My eyes suddenly came in contact with that of his blue eyes and it sparkled more without it blinking . I took my eyes off him then I saw his sister holding him to herself but he kept looking at me with some strange look on his face.

I turned away from him in order not to look at those scary blue eyes of his which keeps reminding me of other night. " Since his sister is young I guess she will be in my class" Alice concluded and kept dreaming aloud.

" you two are into this boy so much. what do you see about him that keeps attracting both of u" I asked them on our way back home " please Bella if you don't see how hot he is, for me I do a lot" Jessica brought that out and Alice also joined her " don't mind Bella she's just so dramatic for my liking" and both of them laughed at me. " oh really Alice" I asked while anger started erupting inside me " this is nothing to get pissed off with your sister besides she's right" Jessica said taking the side of my sister . I didn't want to engage myself in any argument with those two else they will end up adding more pains to the headache am already having.
