While I stood there fuming, the Allfather returning to his own realm, the whisper of a door opening and of feet approaching across the carpet didn't distract me from my internal conversation with Chaos about the end of Jupiter as he knew it until she stood right next to me.

When I turned to meet Truth's eyes, Cadence's held steady, no anger in her, only the coolness of logic. Which, I suppose, suited her and her realm in Justice, reminding me of my previous ponderings and reassuring me that, yes, Creation had chosen well the Masters and Mistresses of each persona, like it or not.

"Hey, sis," I said, knowing I was being flippant with another giant power but not really caring at the moment. She could like it or lump it because I was on the cusp of the last scrap of crap I had to give. And, besides, if I couldn't be a smarty pants with my own sorta half sister kinda, who could take it?
