/ Anime & Comics / Diamond No Ace: The Strongest Hitter
Synopsis
In this story, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated in Japan as a baby. As he grows up, he initially shows little interest in baseball.
During a family outing at a batting center, he suddenly feels the urge to hit a baseball and longs to experience that swing again. Along the way, he meets an interesting boy who will change his life forever.
"Your perseverance is what allows me to stand here today on this diamond field. Now, it's my turn to help you fulfill your dream. I will swing this bat for you because you will always be the ACE in my heart."

Write a reviewI would give it five stars, and I understand the story is slow paced, and I understand that the character is the epitome of stubborn tsundere that can’t admit he likes baseball with his friends, but it’s chapter 60, we’re still in the first year of middle school and the mc has actually played baseball for maybe a month or something 3 years ago. so frankly, the only reason he still feels like the main character is because you made him so stupidly OP for his age and we focus on his POV a lot. Other wise, this could literally just be what if sawamura had a decent coach in middle school and you’d get the same story.
I highly recommend this to you guys to read. It may have few chapters as of now but with the Author updating it everyday, expect more chapters in just a few weeks, writing quality is also really good. A little spoiler tho. The story starts a little different from the usual reincarnation story I have read. It intrigued me how the Author made the MC into a normal person who's not into baseball, which is typical in most of the fanfic I read. (although we all know he will love it soon anyway, but you get to read it first how he learns about baseball and plays the game). I am actually wondering how Shu_21 is making this story fast paced, not too draggy and still getting more interesting as the story goes . (Given how Sendo who zoned out most of the time 🤣.) Thank you Shu_21 for sharing this story. I am also following closely your other fanfic "The Monster", you guys should also give that story a try. ❤️

Author SHU_21
106 chapters, and the main character still hasn't joined a baseball team as a player or properly played an official game. The premise of the story was interesting, a hitter in a story about pitchers, but your main character is just insufferable now. Maybe you should have titled the story as, Sawamura has a decent coach in middle school, instead of the strongest hitter.
