Chapter 1: Reincarnation

"Whoa!..."

Clap clap clap

A series of clapping could be heard as a young boy just finished his performance.

"Thank you!"

He politely thanked and sat beside his friend Sohan, who was busy flirting with other girls.

"Wow, Rezan! We didn't know you were such a good guitarist. That was amazing!" one of the girls exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with genuine admiration.

Rezan smiled modestly, taking a gulp of water. "Thanks. I just play as a hobby."

The room was filled with food, drinks, and music. They were celebrating the end of their high school.

While everyone was chatting about their future, Sohan suddenly stood up and approached the stage. He picked up the mic and started singing a song.

A popular tune began to play, and Sohan's melodious voice filled the room. Everyone joined in, their voices rising and falling with the familiar lyrics. The girls cheered, clapping along to the beat, their eyes fixed on Sohan.

Rezan silently listened while sipping his drink. He had heard this song countless times but he still enjoyed it.

Honestly, Rezan liked his friend's singing talent. But it's just that Sohan is inherently lazy and doesn't like practicing other songs.

Rezan hoped to create a band with Sohan, but his bro is just busy flirting with girls all the time.

clap clap clap

"Whoo! You have such a beautiful voice, Sohan!" Isa beamed with a smile on her face.

"Thanks, everyone," Sohan replied, flashing his charming grin. His long brown hair fell perfectly over his blue eyes, his athletic build adding to his charismatic appeal.

Rezan, in contrast, was quieter and more introverted. With pitch-black hair, hazel eyes, and a lean physique, he preferred to stay in the background, letting his music speak for him.

Sohan returned to his previous seat as the party continued.

Everyone enjoyed themselves until they became tired, and then the party was soon over.

One by one, everyone started leaving, some in their vehicles while others left on foot.

Sohan and Rezan gave a final goodbye to their friends and started their journey home on their bikes.

They were neighbors, and since Sohan was quite drunk, Rezan took it upon himself to take him home.

vroom vroom

While they were on their way, Suddenly, Sohan, lost in a drunken daze, began waving his arms wildly, mumbling incoherently.

"Hey! Watch it!" Rezan shouted, trying to steady the bike. But it was too late. A truck appeared out of nowhere, its headlights blinding. The collision was inevitable.

The bike was instantly crushed, and both of them went flying after the hit.

Sohan flew and landed on a nearby bush, saving himself with a stroke of luck, but Rezan wasn't as lucky.

He hit the ground head-first, the force of the impact shattering his skull. Blood pooled around him, a stark contrast to the dark asphalt.

His head was completely crushed, and brain particles splattered all over the road. Blood flowed incessantly from Rezan's body as he lay there bathed in his own blood.

"So I-I died... a v-virgin..." was his last thought as his remaining strand of consciousness vanished.

---

Huff huff

"Huh?!…"

A puzzled voice echoed in a grand room as a young boy, around 10 years old, jolted himself up from his king-sized bed, panting heavily.

His gaze wandered all over the room as he felt more and more puzzled by his current situation.

"Am I in Heaven?" he wondered aloud, the events of his death still fresh in his mind.

"Why does it feel so real though?" he pinched his cheek just to feel a sting of pain.

"Ouch…"

He looked around the room and felt that this room resembled a British royalty design.

It was filled with astonishing pieces of artwork, expensive-looking furniture, a massive king-size bed with the finest comfort, and a wardrobe beside the bed filled with garments that screamed money.

Driven by a need to understand his situation, he stumbled out of bed and ran to the mirror. The reflection staring back at him was unrecognizable.

"Wha- WHO THE HELL IS THIS?" he screamed as he gazed at the mirror.

The mirror showed a boy, around ten years old, with a mixture of black and purple hair, silver eyes, and a chubby, youthful face.

"Did I get reincarnated?" he thought, the absurdity of the situation almost too much to comprehend. Memories of the countless novels he had read about reincarnation and otherworldly adventures flashed through his mind.

knock knock

"Young master, can I come in?" A sudden voice woke him from his reverie.

"I need to understand my current situation first," he murmured with confusion etched in his face.

"Come in," he announced with my childish voice as the door opened to reveal a young girl, around my age, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was dressed in a traditional maid's outfit and carried herself with professionalism.

"You, come here and tell me everything you know about me," he inquired and she worriedly shifted her gaze at me.

"Yes, Young Master." she professionally responded as she stood in front of me.

"You are Loki Grimheart, the young heir of the Grimheart family, a noble duke family of the empire.

Your father is Sir William Grimheart, who is the current head of the family, and your mother is Madam Amelia Grimheart. Both are very powerful mystic users and are recognized as some of the strongest in their generation," Bella earnestly replied.

Loki, formerly Rezan, absorbed the information, his mind racing to piece together his new reality. "Alright. Now tell me about this world and its—"

Before he could finish, a soothing voice interrupted him. "Loki, what's taking you so long?"

He looked up to see a stunning woman standing in the doorway. Her presence filled the room with a calming aura.

She had long, flowing purple hair, ocean-blue eyes, and a face that could only be described as otherworldly.

Her figure was draped in a beautifully crafted blue gown that accentuated her ethereal beauty. She looked like a fairy straight from heaven.

As he stood there frozen, she calmly entered the room and sat right beside me with a worried gaze.

"Are you alright, son?" she asked, her voice filled with concern as she walked over and sat beside him on the bed.
