Clarissa was angry but she kept her anger at bay. Rather, her eyes sharpened in warning. But the idiots were too dumb to read it or rather they chose to ignore it.

This was the first time Kieran had seen Clarissa keep her cool while people disrespected her but he knew without a doubt that his uncle and cousin just got into Clarissa's bad book. From the look he had seen in her eyes earlier, she wasn't falling for his Aunty's pretense. She would make a good queen. 

It would be no good hurting them here. Kieran already told her not misbehave. Although, she was sure he wouldn't mind her putting them in their place, she chose to be careful instead. 

"The name is Damien Callahan, my lady."

Clarissa cocked her head to the side and fixed a look on him that clearly said he was beneath her. "Damien?" she batted her lashes at him. "Why, you have the same name as my father's butler. A clumsy fool really."
