"You should address him as his majesty." Clarissa cut in. 

Martha paused with her mouth slightly agape. Her blood boiled but she smiled at Clarissa. "I apologize, your highness. I sometimes forget to use titles because we are family."

"But he doesn't consider you his family."

It was clear, precise and to the point.

Kieran loved how Clarissa addressed his aunty. It seemed she needed someone else to put her in her place. Clarissa was doing a good job so far.

Her husband and son glared at Clarissa. They were starting to hate her even more every second they spent with her. 

Damien wished she would just shut up. She probably gained her reputation with help from her father. She was probably nothing without him. He also didn't like the way she stuck to Kieran. That would make things very difficult for them. To avoid that they might have to get rid of her.
