Chapter 45: Secret of the Omnitrixes

"You know, Grandpa?" Lucky Girl asked. "I hear that normal kids normally spend their summer vacations at the beach. Or the mall."

"Oh yeah," Matter Girl said. "That's right. We were supposed to go to the mall today."

The camera panned down to reveal that Lucky Girl, Matter Girl, Huntress and Max were tied up by chains and dangling upside down from the ceiling with the girls' long hair hanging down in front of their faces.

"Sorry, Ally," Max said. "I got a little sidetracked."

"Can you absorb the metal from these chains and get us out of here?" Huntress asked.

"With us tied together like this? I could end up hurting you guys too. Not worth the risk."

Down below, a certain mad scientist adjusted some knobs next to a nuclear reactor with a timer going down.

"This nuclear reactor is the perfect way to detonate my DNA bomb into the atmosphere and de-evolutionize the world!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, Animo," Lucky Girl said. "We get it."

That was when a fireball blew the door off of the factory's hinges and Huntress scoffed in her bonds.

"Took 'em long enough."

The smoke cleared and revealed Ben as Heatblast and Jen as XLR8 as they glared.

"Okay, Animo," Heatblast said. "Science class is cancelled!"

"Fools! In less than a minute, the world will receive a lesson it shall never forget! In the meantime, meet my newest creation!"

He gestured towards his side and revealed a giant bug monster with a huge sharp stinger and large wings and a crested head.

"Bring it on," XLR8 smiled. "I'll run circles around that bug."

She zoomed off as Heatblast fired out his flame jets that blew through the factory and blasted right into the mutant insect as XLR8 rushed in and hit the creature rapidly with her claws, tail and legs with a shout as she smiled.

"Oh yeah! Being a hero rules!" Heatblast called.

Suddenly, the beast flew right out of the flames without a scratch on it before it flew towards Heatblast as he blasted himself away and fired several flame disks as XLR8 zoomed in and bashed it as the others looked on from their binds.

"Hey, hot head! Crazy legs!" Matter Girl called. "We've got a DNA bomb about to blow in 30 seconds!"

XLR8 nodded and rushed down and snapped the chain with her sharp claws, breaking the binds as Max caught his granddaughters and fired his grappling hook towards a beam, which caused them to land to the ground safely while Matter Girl absorbed the lead from her bullet and somersaulted her way out of danger before dissolving her armor.

Heatblast and XLR8 glared as they looked towards the ticking bomb as Animo glared and boasted at them.

"It's no use. Not even you are fast enough or can generate enough heat to destroy this bomb's casing."

"If we can't turn it down..." Heatblast began.

"Then we'll just have to turn it up!" XLR8 finished.

XLR8 ran off and swatted Animo away as Heatblast generated a huge amount of fire that blasted towards the bomb while XLR8 zoomed off and hit several buttons as fast as she could and pulled several levers.

"Guys, you don't know what's going to happen if you do that!" Huntress shouted.

"It can't be any worse than what's going to happen if we don't!" Heatblast shouted.

Soon, the reactor started to blow steam in several areas as the heat within it grew to critical levels.

"No! You're overloading the system!" Dr. Animo shouted as they smirked.

"That's the idea," XLR8 said.

The gauges started going critical as steam poured out of every crevice and crack in the reactor as Matter Girl gulped and ducked for cover along with the others.

"This can only end so well!"

The countdown on the bomb immediately stopped and XLR8 ran over to Heatblast and gave the other's a thumbs-up.

Suddenly, an alarm sounded from the reactor and Heatblast gulped as XLR8's eyes widened cartoon-style.

"Oh sh-"

Suddenly, a DNA wave was emitted from the bomb, blasting right into the twins as the Omnitrix symbols on their chests started sparking out energy.

Max, Lucky Girl, Huntress and Matter Girl all shouted out as the wave zoomed past them and through the rest of the factory.

They looked up from their cover to see the Omni-Twins in their Omni Suits groaning out, sore, at the sensation of suddenly turning back to human form.

"You two may have ruined my plans today, Tennyson Twins! But there's always tomorrow!"

Animo flew away on his mutant insect creature as the others approached the twins as they stood up.

"Ben, Jen. Are you guys okay?" Max asked as the twins cracked their joints into place.

"Yeah. I think so," Jen said.

"Good thing we were in alien form. Cause that DNA wave would've totally scrambled us."

Lucky Girl looked down to see the Omnitrixes started emanating orange-red energy instead of the usual green or pink.

"What's with the Omnitrixes?"

"I have no idea," Jen said nervously as the Omnitrixes suddenly beeped green and pink once again

"Alright," Ben smiled. "Got the green early."

"But, guys. We don't know what's going on with th-"

"Sorry, Grandpa. Animo's getting away. We can't catch them if we don't go hero. Going Firefly!"

They slammed the cores down and transformed into Stinkfly and Firefly... only to suddenly shift into Wildmutt and Wildcat, then Sludgeshifter and Diamondhead and finally to Grey Matter and Frostblight.

"Seriously?" the Cryosprite asked.

"Sometimes I think these things just plain hate us."

"How do you two think you're going to catch up to that whackjob now, short stuff?"

"Hmm..." Grey Matter said as Frostblight smirked.

Animo and his creature flew through the factory trying to escape as Animo mused over his defeat.

"Someday, my pet, those snot-nosed freaks will get theirs!"

"Well, next Tuesday sounds good, but why wait?" Frostblight smiled as she flew through the air as Grey Matter flew beside her on his hoverboard.

Animo shouted out as Grey Matter collided with him, smashing his goggles as he glared outwards and Frostblight flew in and froze the creature's legs.

The twins looked as the hoverboard sank into the boiling chemicals in the factory.

"Oh man," Grey Matter said. "Tetrax is not going to be happy."

Frostblight glared as Grey Matter crawled all over the mad scientist before he caught the two in his grasp and glared.

"Time to cut these two pygmy pests down to size!" he shouted before he tossed them away and towards the chemicals before Frostblight narrowly regained flight and Grey Matter grabbed onto a chain above one of the vats.

Animo smiled and flew away... but he didn't realize where he was going and smashed into one of the pipes as his creature fell down on top of him and they both fell unconscious as the twins smiled.

"Okay, that's going to leave a mark," Frostblight said.

The Omnitrixes suddenly timed out as the twins gulped and started to fall down into the chemicals with a scream... but not before Lucky Girl caught them in a magenta forcefield that she summoned and lowered the twins down to the group's level.

"You're getting really good with those spells, sis," Huntress smiled to her.

"Practice makes perfect."

"That was awesome!" Ben said as the Rust Bucket drove out of the factory with everyone inside relaxing after changing out of their super suits.

"Where do we go next, guys?" Jen asked.

"Now, we go somewhere we want to go for a change," Becky smiled as Gwen smiled at them.

"Oh man!" Ben said.

Our heroes arrived at a shopping mall, where everyone was doing their own shopping. Becky was looking in the hunting store with Max's supervision while Jen and Allison played in the arcade next to a clothing store known as The Rack, where Ben and Gwen were as Gwen looked for clothes while Ben looked on and practiced his fighting moves and poses... right in front of a store mannequin.

"Yeah! Ha! Whoo! Take this! And that!"

He then struck a pose before he smiled.

"You're going down! Sumo Slammer death blow!"

He then reeled a punch back, but suddenly slipped on the smooth linoleum floor and fell to the ground, the impact loosening the mannequin from its display and it fell right into the hands of the store owner.

"This is a shopping center. Not a boxing ring."

She carried the mannequin away as the head popped off and Jen and Allison walked over with Becky holding some bags from the hunting store as Max smiled.

"So, Becky, what did you get?" Allison asked.

"Nothing major. Just some more arrows and a few handguns for kicks. Oh, and this machete," she said, showing off the larger knife in the bag.

"Awesome. You are definitely the survivalist expert," Jen smiled as Max looked as Gwen held several pieces of clothing in her hands.

"How do you think these will make me look?"

"Like a total-" Ben began before Jen blasted him with a small pink energy blast.

"You'd look lovely in all of them, cuz," Becky smiled.

"But I don't know which one to pick."

"Well, buy them all," Max said.

"Thanks, Grandpa," Gwen said, walking to the fitting rooms and then gave her male cousin the stink eye.

"Sorry, Ben," Jen said. "But we need some relaxing time."

"Let's not ruin the girls' day, alright?" Max began.

"Their day? What about ruining my day?" Ben said. "I'm the one stuck in some dumb clothing store during my summer vacation."

"Now, Ben," Max said. "The girls just need a little break from the whole battling bad guys and aliens thing, that's all. They just want a chance to feel normal again."

"Normal?" Ben asked. "There's nothing normal about the girls. Or about any of us for that matter."

Everyone then looked towards the fitting rooms and their jaws dropped at what Gwen was wearing, even her own sister. It just didn't match at all.

"This is so fun! Can we go shoe shopping after this?"

Suddenly, without warning, the Omnitrixes started arcing out orange lightning and energy.

"What the?" Jen asked as a large sphere or energy enveloped the Omntirixes and sent the twins blasting backwards into their cousin and right into the store owner as she carried some boxes, sending the four crashing into a large pile of clothing.

"Guys!"

"What? It wasn't us this time, I swear!" Ben said.

"The watches just wigged out on us!" Jen said as the store owner glared at the three as she stuck her head out of the pile.

Ben chuckled nervously as he saw that a bra had landed on top of his head.

The doors immediately closed on our heroes as Gwen groaned in embarrassment.

"Banned from an entire mall?!" Gwen shouted. "I've never been so humiliated in my entire life!"

"That's not true," Ben said. "You've been humiliated plenty of times worse than this."

"Yes, and all of them by you!"

"That's all I'm saying."

Jen sighed and Allison rubbed her neck.

"There's no use crying over spilled milk, you guys," she said.

"Allison's right," Max said. "We'll all feel better after a good night's sleep."

"Only if I wake up with new cousins!" Gwen said, storming off while the others looked on, concerned.

Late at night when everyone was soundly asleep in their beds when a bright light suddenly flashed through the windows and everyone groaned in annoyance from the light.

"Ugh," Jen said. "Morning already?"

"Someone turn off the sun!" Ben said, burying himself in his pillow.

"It's 3:30 in the morning," Max said. "The sun doesn't come out for another two hours."

"Ugh," Gwen said as she and her sister got out of the top bunk while Allison kicked the sheets off her couch bed and slipped her feet into her... fuzzy bunny slippers.

"Really?" Becky asked. "You wear bunny slippers?"

"Don't push my buttons, Becky, and I won't push yours," the perky goth said.

They exited the Rust Bucket in a hurry when they saw a large spaceship deploy its landing gear and land in front of them, the wind blowing everyone's hair back.

Then, two strange figures emerged from the cockpit of the ship.

"I don't know who those two are, but they're going to think twice about changing our wake up call," Jen said, activating her Omnitrix.

"Going hero!"

That was when a laser blast and a green crystal burst forwards and shocked them out of their determined state.

"What?" Allison asked, looking at the crystal. "A diamondhead crystal?"

"Seriously? After all the prompting that we gave you two months ago?"

The two figures walked forwards and took off their helmets, revealing two old friends from the beginning of summer.

"Tetrax! Maya!" Jen said with a smile to the two intergalactic bounty hunters.

"Good to see you two again, Ben, Jen," Tetrax said, giving them the soldiers pose.

"You guys too," Jen said as she and her brother returned the gesture.

"I see that you guys got some new friends as well," Maya said to the two newcomers.

"Hi," Allison said. "I'm Allison. I'm a really good friend that they picked up along the way and... I'm an Osmosian with the power of absorption. I can touch anything and create an armor for myself or I can absorb energy."

"And I'm Rebecca Tennyson, Gwen's sister. But you can just call me Becky," Becky said with a smile. "They found me and picked me up in the Null Void after I was imprisoned there for five years."

"Ah," Tetrax said. "I thought I heard about reports of a human child getting tossed into the Null Void about five years ago. Heard the culprit behind that ended up on Incarcecon."

"We haven't seen you guys since we took down Sixsix and Kraab together," Gwen said. "How have you been?"

"We've been doing well, little one," Maya said. "We've been busy with our hunts since we last saw you guys."

"But we came to Earth as soon as we heard," Tetrax said.

"Yeah," Ben said. "About munching that X-321 hoverboard you gave me. See, we were going after Dr. Animo and I kinda zigged instead of zagged and, well..."

"I'm not here about that board, Ben," Tetrax reassured him.

"You're not?" Jen asked. "Then why are you guys here?"

"We picked up the SDM signal from the Omnitrixes," Maya explained.

"These?" Ben asked. "It's just the watches going wacko again. It's no big deal."

"SDM?" Max asked as he stepped forward. "Self-Destruct Mode?"

The kids all recoiled and gasped at that statement.

"Indeed," Tetrax said. "The Omnitrixes broadcast a signal to the entire galaxy before they begin their countdown."

"The watches are going to destroy themselves?"

"Along with whoever is wearing them at the time," Maya confirmed.

"Oh man."

"So," Tetrax said. "You two have no idea what may have triggered the Omnitrixes' self-destruct mode?"

"Um..." Ben said as he and Jen immediately flashed back and remembered how they overloaded Animo's DNA bomb, which sent out the DNA wave.

"I think I have a good idea," Jen exasperated. "It was that DNA bomb that Animo had. That DNA wave must have triggered the SDM."

"We warned you guys that you didn't know what that was going to do!" Becky shouted.

"Hey, it doesn't matter now," Ben said. "Tetrax and Maya are here to take care of it."

"You two are going to be disappointed," Maya said with a bow of her head. "Neither of us have the faintest idea how to deactivate the Omnitrixes. Only Azmuth would know how to do that."

"Azmuth?" Jen asked. "Who's Azmuth?"

"The rumored creator of the Omnitrixes," Tetrax said. "The rumors about him are sketchy at best and completely false at worst."

"No one is even sure which planet he lives on or if he even exists at all," Maya said.

"So," Gwen asked. "How exactly do you plan on finding him?"

"On the ship, we have the equipment we need to scan the Omnitrixes for Azmuth's DNA signature," Tetrax said. "It's like an autograph on his work for you Earthlings. Once we're done with that, we can scan the galaxy until we locate him."

Maya examined the red and orange beeping on the Omnitrixes as Max looked on in worry for his grandchildren.

"How long until the watches self-destruct?"

"Judging by the patterns' repetition, I'd estimate about four Earth days," Maya said. "Not a lot of time at all."

"We'd better get going," Tetrax said. "There's no telling who else picked up on the SDM signals."

"Road trip: space style!" Jen cheered.

A few minutes later after the twins got dressed, Maya looked on at the remainder of the team as they looked on with worry.

"I'm sorry, Max," Maya told the ex-Plumber. "We can't run the risk of some alien somewhere recognizing you from your Plumber days."

"I understand," Max sighed before turning to Gwen and Becky. "I guess you two are going to get that break from your cousins after all."

"I hope you guys make it," Gwen said with a sigh as Max turned to Jen.

"I'm concerned that you and your brother aren't taking this seriously."

"Seriously?" Jen asked. "This is our lives at stake here should the watches take us with them."

"It's always serious, Grandpa," Ben said. "And we always win."

"Yeah, with some help," Allison said. "When was the last time you guys saved the day without us?"

"We'll be okay," Jen said. "We'll find Azmuth, he'll fix the Omnitrixes and we'll be back before you know it."

"I hope so," Becky said.

"Try not to mess things up, okay guys?" Gwen asked.

"Since when do we mess things up?" Ben asked.

"Do you guys want your list in chronological or alphabetical order?"

"Please," Max begged. "Take good care of my grandkids."

"Don't worry," Tetrax said. "They're in good hands."

The hatch of the ship closed, leaving the twins with the bounty hunters inside.

"Whoa," Ben said, admiring all the awesome machines and equipment inside of the ship.

"Yes, it is cool isn't it?" Tetrax asked as Maya deactivated her Morph Suit, leaving her in a bright purple jumpsuit and boots with her pigtails down as she and Tetrax led our heroes away. "The Resolute has everything that you could want in a space ship."

They walked onto a platform that lifted up like an elevator before reaching the top and moving throughout the rather large ship as they glared after our heroes.

"Whoa," Jen said as she admired the scenery the group passed. 'What's this stuff?"

"The training room," Maya said. "We have to stay in tip-top shape between missions."

They then stopped at a green sector with two hoverboards on by a screen.

"This is my hover simulator," Tetrax explained. "It can recreate over a thousand different courses. You two are welcome to use it at any time."

Finally, they entered what appeared to be the flight cockpit and their eyes widened in wonder at how futuristic it looked and their jaws dropped.

"Wow," Ben said. "It's like every nerd's heaven."

"It's like a live action video game," Jen said as they walked forwards to the controls when a bright orange blob with three green eyes popped up from the cockpit and she recoiled back. "Ew! Living snot!"

"That's my pilot, Gluto," Tetrax explained.

"Hey," Ben said as Gluto relaxed back at the controls. "Nice to meet you too."

"I assume that the pair of you are familiar with space travel protocol?" Maya asked as she sat down in her seat as Ben nodded.

"Well, we have been in space before," Jen said.

"Then let's go," Tetrax said as Gluto pulled on the levers, which fired up the engines and retracted the landing gear as the Resolute started hovering in the air as Max stepped back in awe.

Our heroes strapped themselves into the seats to brace for takeoff as Gluto pressed a button on the controls as they suddenly blasted off at lightspeed into outer space.

Ben and Jen found themselves not ready for the sudden shift in speed like they did as XLR8 and their hair was blown back as Ben screamed.

"So this is what a pancake feels like!"

The twins then suddenly floated out of their seats and smiled as they did somersaults in the air, giggling all the while.

"Activate artificial gravity, Gluto," Maya ordered as the gelatinous alien nodded and turned on said feature, sending the twins crashing to the ground in a heap.

"You know, space travel looks so much easier in the movies."

They looked up to see the two bounty hunters glaring over them.

"I hate to interrupt your nap time, kids," Maya said. "But we have work to do."

"We need to examine the Omnitrixes," Tetrax said as they were led towards the science bay.

Meanwhile, in another part of space, another ship that looked suspiciously like the destroyed Chimerian Hammer was suddenly hijacked by a certain evil alien warlord as some aliens looked on in fear.

"Your ship will be most useful to me in my quest for the Omnitrixes," Vilgax said to the cowering aliens. "And when I recover them, I will take my revenge on the Earth boy and Earth girl who imprisoned me in that accursed Null Void dimension!"

He pressed a button on the console and jettisoned the escape pod the aliens were in out into space as they screamed as they were behind.

"Master," a Bioid said as it walked by. It then showed a projection of what Vilgax had been after all this time. "It appears to be from the Omnitrixes."

"The Omnitrixes in space? What are those pesky Tennyson Twins up to?"

"Ready?" Maya asked the twins as they were strapped onto what appeared to be operating tables.

"Would 'no' be an option?" Ben asked as they looked up to see some sort of lid to a pod above them.

"Don't worry, you two," Tetrax said. "I've had several of these tests performed on myself. Never felt a thing."

"Yeah, but don't you have diamond-hard skin?" Jen asked as the Petrosapien looked on and raised an eye.

"They've got you there, partner," Maya shrugged. "Humans are delicate things."

"Good point," Tetrax began as he put on what appeared to be a virtual reality visor. "Let's begin."

Maya then pressed a few buttons and the operating tables flattened down and the giant pod closed around them as they gulped nervously.

"I've got a bad feeling about this," Jen said as they felt their bodies get scanned while a pink projection of herself and a green projection of her brother came up from them followed by projections of the Omnitrixes as they suddenly disassembled themselves and showed off all of the individual pieces of the watches.

Tetrax examined them through his visor while his partner looked on concerned.

This continued on for a few minutes as the twins looked at all of the pieces as Tetrax groaned.

"I can't find Azmuth's DNA signature anywhere," he said. "Do you two have any ideas where it could be?"

"You know, when our dad gave a mom our watch for their anniversary, they had the jewelers engrave some writing on the back of it," Jen suggested.

"Of course," Maya said as her partner reset the projections and set up the Omnitrixes again as they looked inside the back of them to see some lines that appeared to be in some kind of pattern to suggest a signature.

"Got it," Tetrax said.

"That's a relief," Jen sighed.

Later, they were at the mapping station as Maya looked on and glared.

"Now we can scan for Azmuth in the galaxy with his DNA composition," Maya said as she scanned outwards.

"Huh?" Tetrax asked. "That can't be right. According to this, Azmuth is on Incarcecon."

"You mentioned that it was the place where the criminal who sent Becky to the Null Void was. What is it?" Jen said.

"It's a prison planet," Tetrax asked.

"What?" Ben asked. "The creator of the Omnitrix is in some space slammer? Why?"

"How are we supposed to know?" Maya glared. "We didn't even know for sure that he officially existed until a few minutes ago."

"But it's home to the scummiest of the scum of the universe," Tetrax added. "It's infinitely worse than the Null Void."

"Gluto," Maya said as they stepped up. "Set a course to Incarcecon. We've got a job to do."

Gluto nodded and pressed a few buttons when an alarm sounded throughout the entire ship as they gasped.

"Security breach on the lower level!" Tetrax said. "We have intruders on the ship."

"Really? Now?" Jen asked as she and Ben activated their Omni-Suits and glared.

Tetrax and Maya glared at the Omni Twins as Maya activated her Morph Suit and aimed her arm cannon while Tetrax wielded his blaster.

"We have to assume the worst," Tetrax said. "We'll be able to cover more ground if we split up."

"Especially XLR8," Ben said as he slammed the core down along with his sister as they transformed into...

Wildmutt and Wildcat whimpered and purred in disappointment.

"Good idea," Maya said, leaning down to pet Wildcat. "The Vulpimancer and the Felineko's keen senses should be able to sniff out the intruders rather quickly.

Wildcat purred as she nuzzled against the bounty hunters' leg before she and her brother piped up once they reached the lower level and walked away as Maya and Tetrax moved slowly through the area.

Maya aimed her blaster carefully before she aimed carefully to see Wildmutt sniffing out as his sister sniffed as well and held her pointed ear to the floor as she walked forward.

Wildmutt then sensed something through his keen sense of smell as he saw three separate heat signatures throughout the are as Wildcat's pupils contracted into the thinnest slits possible as she ran forward and hissed outwards and ran forwards with her brother in tow as they pounced their intruders.

"Hey! Paws off, pussycat!" said a rather familiar voice as Wildmutt and Wildcat got off of Allison, Gwen and Becky as the girls dusted themselves off.

Wildcat purred in confusion as the girls nodded. Wildmutt, however, growled in anger.

"Save the mad dog routine, will you, Ben?"

"We don't want to be here either," Becky said. "It wasn't our idea to sneak onto the ship."

"Um, actually, it was my idea," Allison said as she dusted herself off. "I figured that you guys could use some backup, so the three of us snuck onto the ship without Tetrax or Maya knowing."

Wildcat shook her head in disappointment and walked off, stumbling into a button and she gasped out as an alarm sounded throughout the whole ship's area as they saw the airlock open and Becky groaned outward as they each grabbed onto something to hold on for dear life while the twins dragged their sharp claws into the metal ground with a screeching sound.

"I can't hold on any longer!" Gwen shouted before she screamed outwards before Wildmutt caught her with his back paw.

Soon, the Omnitrixes timed out and Allison gulped as everybody lost their grip and were sent flying backwards... just as a few crystals blasted into the airlock controls and the door closed, causing everyone to go splat against the door and they slumped down to the ground as Tetrax and Maya glared.

"What happened in here?" Tetrax asked.

"The door must be defective," Jen said. "I guess the airlock just flew open on its own."

Maya looked over to the girls as they gulped and Allison smiled nervously and waved.

"Girls?" Maya asked as she walked over to Gwen, Becky and Allison as they stood at attention. "You're the intruders?"

"Sorry," Becky shrugged. "The three of us just figured that since Ben can't find his toothbrush when it's stuck in his mouth, he and Jen could use some help finding Azmuth."

"Hey!"

"We're just kidding," Gwen smiled before she walked up to Maya and whispered "Ben never brushes his teeth."

"Can we just turn around and drop them back on Earth?" Ben asked. "You know, like from orbit?!"

"Sorry, guys. No time," Tetrax said.

"When you picked me up in San Francisco, I promised you that I wold always have your back," Allison said. "I haven't broken that promise yet and I'm not starting now."

"Thank you," Jen said.

Suddenly, the Omnitrixes started beeping quicker than normal and Tetrax looked towards them and inspected them.

"Strange. The countdown seems to have accelerated."

"We have to check something out," Maya said. "Feel free to explore the ship in the meantime."

She deactivated her Morph Suit and they walked out, leaving the five kids concerned that they now had even less time.

Later, Ben and Jen were in the hover simulator flying through a simulation of the Earth sky while the girls stood on the ground, seemingly floating in the air beside them.

"Aren't you guys a little bit worried that the self-destruct countdown for the Omnitrixes has sped up?" Gwen asked.

"A little bit," Jen confirmed, nodding as she flew on her X-321.

"But the two of us work best under pressure," Ben reminded.

"Hey," Becky said. "This doesn't only affect you two if the self-destruct detonates. What about Grandpa?"

"And your parents?" Allison asked. "I'm sure they wouldn't want you two to get vaporized. We sure don't."

"Look, Tetrax, Maya and us have it covered," Ben said. "We'll find Azmuth, he'll fix the Omnitrixes and we'll go back to kicking alien butt."

Gwen then looked up with a stern look towards the twins.

"Maya said that Azmuth would deactivate the Omnitrixes, not fix them."

Jen's breath suddenly seized as she fell gasped heavily and fell off of her board, taking Ben with her as she fell into the floor.

"No," Jen said. "That can't be."

"I'm afraid that the girls are right, Jen," Tetrax said as the simulation turned off and he and Maya stepped in.

"Truthfully, we thought that the two of you would be relieved to have them off. You've done well with the Omnitrixes, better than any other two Earthlings could have. But now you can have normal lives again."

"Who ever said that we wanted to have normal lives!?" Ben asked.

"I'm with Ben on this one!" Jen glared at the two. "These watches are the best thing that's ever happened to us. I don't want them to be taken away just because of some stupid self-destruct gimmick!"

"Unfortunately, the computers have confirmed my fears," Maya said as she looked down. "Your transformations speed up the countdowns. To be safe, you two shouldn't use the Omnitrixes again. It's too risky."

Jen looked down and sighed heavily. "Okay."

Suddenly, the orange energy from before started to build up an energy sphere around the two again and they were blasted back by the sudden explosion as the others looked on.

"Oh man," Ben said. "We will never get used to that."

"Ditto," Jen said.

Gluto showed Gwen the controls as Allison and Becky got settled into the ship and Tetrax and Maya looked at the map.

"I see," Gwen said with a smile. "That's very cool."

"Great," Ben sighed. "Gwen's friends with the snot blob."

"He's just an alien, Ben," Becky sighed. "He's not a bad guy."

"We're coming upon Incarcecon," Tetrax said. "Everyone brace yourselves."

The Resolute passed through a space gate towards the intergalactic prison. Afterwards, the security A.I. spoke to them through the computers.

"You are approaching secure space of the Incarcecon Intergalactic Detention Center. Identify yourself or be destroyed."

"What now?" Jen asked.

Maya went to the computer and tried in several different passcodes, all of which stopped and beeped out rejection from the computers.

The space stations' weapons systems suddenly prepared themselves to fire and aimed right towards our heroes.

"I can't watch!" Allison said as she and the kids all ducked and braced for impact.

Becky and Gluto hugged themselves and closed their eyes tightly.

Maya's face broke out in a sweat as she tried one last passcode... which surprisingly worked perfectly.

"Vendor security clearance accepted. Proceed to Sanitation Disposal Bay #4."

Maya shot a thumbs' up as everyone breathed out in relief and looked towards Incarcecon as Gluto proceeded towards the prison planet.

Unknown to everyone else, just outside the area, a starship that looked similar in design to Maya's Morph Suit looked on towards them. It had a bright orange color with red shields on the top and four green thrusters on the back and bottom of it. Inside, a beautiful-looking woman in a blue jumpsuit and long blonde hair tied in a ponytail looked towards our heroes as they moved into the prison planet.

She then pressed the bracelet on her wrist as she looked on.

"Hippolyta, I'm just outside of Incarcecon. The Omnitrix wielders have just gone inside. I'm going in."

"Very well, Samus," Hippolyta said. "Scarlett and her soldiers have just been relayed the news of the SDM signals to the Omnitrixes as well. They'll be on their way shortly."

Samus activated her ship's cloaking device, rendering her invisible to everyone as she moved in towards the ship.

As she followed, Allison looked unclear at where they were going.

"Sanitation Disposal Bay #4?" she asked. "They think we're a garbage truck?"

"Unfortunately," Maya said as Gluto moved the ship into the bay and touched down as the space rats scattered through the garbage in fear.

"I've scanned the DNA signature into my scanner," Tetrax told the group. "It'll lead us to Azmuth."

"However," Maya said. "If these prisoners see humans like the six of us, it'll be trouble."

"Wow," Gwen said as she and the others crossed their arms. "The rest of the universe hates us that much?"

"No," Maya said, piping up. "Most species love humans. We're considered quite a delicacy."

The kids looked concerned as they moved forwards.

"Me and Jen can go alien. Just this once," Ben suggested.

"And risk speeding up the self-destruct countdowns even more?" Tetrax said. "No."

"Every second is too critical until we find Azmuth. Then, we'll consider your offer," Maya said. "Gluto, you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Gluto clapped his hands in glee.

"From time to time, our missions require a disguise," Tetrax said. "I have just the ones for you five."

"Oh joy," Becky said, rolling her eyes.

As they left the large ship, Samus glared after them and exited her starship and looked after our heroes as she activated a cloaking device to move after them before activating her own morph suit.

Our heroes moved nervously through Incarcecon's interior as they looked at all of the strange alien prisoners throughout, some of which they even knew were in the Omnitrixes.

Tetrax and Maya had their suits on as a disguise as they walked forwards.

The kids on the other hand, were dressed in absolutely ridiculous alien disguises such as Allison's of a Rhopaloceran, Ben and Jen stacked on top of each other in a green alien species with six arms and Gwen and Becky in a rather poor Tetramand disguise.

"I'm an alien's butt," Gwen said as she moved forwards with her sister on her shoulders. "It's official. This is the worst summer of my life."

"Sorry, sis," Becky said as she moved the arms. "Rock, paper, scissors, two out of three. I won."

Allison looked absolutely miserable in the pink butterfly outfit she was in and was tempted to just rip it to shreds in an instant.

"Where's the guards?" Jen asked as she looked through the costume's eyes.

"No guards, no rules, no parole," Maya explained. "On Incarcecon, it's survival of the meanest. I'm sure that most guys won't be happy to see me here since I've sent so many of them here in the first place. They want some payback."

They looked to see a few prisoners in a fist fight as they tackled and slammed each other down with a shot of effort.

"These aren't friendly types either," Tetrax said. "Each and every one of them is here for a reason. Some of them, lots of reasons."

As they moved through the prison area nervously, a certain familiar figure in a disguise looked outwards towards the party and glared before following them.

Jen glanced over as a rather large alien stomped on a rat and walked towards and gobbled it up by wrapping its long tongue around it and munching loudly and disgustingly.

"You can have it," she said nervously. "I'm... on a diet!"

"What?" Ben asked from below. "What's happening?"

"Trust me, bro. You don't want to know," Jen gulped.

"Snack time's over, bub," Tetrax said as he moved his cloak aside to reveal his blaster. "Move along unless we have some other business to take care of."

The alien gulped and then slithered away from the group in a hurry.

Another familiar figure looked on from the group and glared as he prepeared his arm blades.

"Maybe you guys should wait on the other side of the prison while we scope this place out," Maya suggested as she nodded.

The disguised figure from before bumped into Allisno as she glared and rubbed her arm. "Hey, watch it, bub!"

They moved away and decided to rest as Ben and Jen's eyes drifted to the side and suddenly widened considerably when they saw a familiar set of tentacles peeking out of a cloak.

"No!" Jen said. "It can't be!"

"How did he escape the Null Void?!" Ben asked.

"Beats me. He must have picked up on the self-destruct signal," Jen said. "But how did he know that the creator would be here?"

"Guys?" Gwen asked. "Who are you two babbling about?"

"If we have to give up going hero, then at least we're going to take down Vilgax once and for all!" Ben said.

The twins nodded ot each other and slammed the Omnitrixes, resulting in Upchuck and Battlefly flying outwards from the ripped disguise as they ran towards him, catching the attention of a certain other female figure who looked on.

"Where are you guys going?!" Gwen and Becky asked as Allison glared after them and the villains took notice of the destroyed disguise as Gwen, Becky and Allison looked on nervously.

"Uh... hi," Allison said. "You guys have all had dinner already, right?"

"I'm gonna chew you up and spit you out!" Upchuck said as he shot out his tongues, eating an aliens' pack before he climbed up to the squid's level while Battlefly flew upwards with her wings, a look of fury on her face.

Upchuck then spat outwards, sending a green explosive projectile outwards that flew forwards and it blew up in the squid alien's path.

"Oh man," Maya said before she and Tetrax were punched backwards as the prisoners from before shed their disguises, revealing themselves to be Sixsix and the Predator as they growled outwards.

"It's not our fault that you two are in here, Sixsix," Tetrax said.

"Same for you, Predator," Maya said as she prepared her arm cannon. "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."

She then fired out her missile blast and sent them flying away, engaging in a fight as everyone stood to watch... especially the similar figure from above as she grasped her arm cannon with a glare.

The squid alien dodged the spit blasts from Upchuck and the cyclones from Battlefly with a glare towards them as he lost his cloak... revealing that he was actually a she!

She got onto her hands and front-flipped upwards as she dodged the blasts before she leaped forwards and caught the two in a grasp and glared at the helpless twins.

"What's your problem, punks?"

"Hey!" Battlefly said. "You're not Vilgax, you're a girl!"

"Yeah," she said. "I know."

She then dropped Battlefly, grabbed Upchuck by his tail and tossed him directly into his sister, causing them to fly screaming back into the crowd of the aliens as they gathered and the Omnitrixes timed out and their friends gathered by them, worried.

"They turned into humans," a prisoner that looked like Ripjaws said. "How?"

"The Omnitrixes!" a Lepidopterran prisoner said, flying up. "They're wearing the Omnitrixes!"

"They do exist!"

"That's our tickets out of this rathole!"

"The Omnitrixes will be ours!"

"I think that we're in trouble," Becky said as they activated their suits and glared outwards.

"Are you sure it's too late to go back to the mall right now?" Gwen gulped.

Suddenly, a portal opened from above them and one by one, Scarlett and her four ranking soldiers leaped outwards and landed on their knees as the portal closed above them as Scarlett unsheathed her blade.

"Scarlett!" Jen said. "Ryu, Bayonetta, Korra!"

"Long time no see," Bayonetta nodded as she spun her guns with a glare.

"And who's this guy?" Allison asked, referring to the god of war before them.

"This is Kratos," Scarlett introduced to the ash-white figure before them as he unsheathed the Blades of Exile and glared at the prisoners surrounding them.

"Disperse! Protect the Omnitrixes!" Scarlett shouted as she and her soldiers all shouted out and charged the prisoners, engaging in a fight.

Lucky Girl and Bayonetta moved away and started firing multiple spells and fairy-soul bullets towards the prisoners, knocking them back as Bayonetta used her insanely powerful hair to open portals and send demon fists and kicks towards the lowlifes, sending them flying back into the walls as Lucky Girl flew in and used her telekinesis to raise up several chunks of metal and sent them flying at a Tetramand prisoner, pelting him with metal and sending him flying back

Kratos wildly swung the Blades of Exile towards the prisoners, killing a few of them with his insane blows as Matter Girl flew in, absorbed the metal from the enchanted blades and morphed her hands into similar blades that she used to block and parry other blows before she sent a massive kick towards a Petrosapien prisoners head and sent him hurtling over the edge. She ducked as Kratos unsheathed Apollo's Bow and used it to shoot some Pyrolampus and Lepidopterran prisoners forwards as Matter Girl stood by her as she dodged another blow and shouted out.

Huntress and Ryu shouted out as Huntress used her spear and Ryu used his Lunar Staff to wildly swing ahead and give long-ranged attacks that sent the prisoners flying back and even drawing red, blue and green blood from some of them before Huntress glared towards the Lepidopterran Prisoner from before and gasped before she shouted out as Ryu took her hand and tossed her towards the prisoner as she tackled him and sent him flying downwards and crashing into the floor beneath her.

"You!" she said as she unsheathed her knives.

"Hello, little Tennyson," he smiled. "Miss me?"

"Not particularly, since you sent me to that hellhole Null Void," she said as she glared. "Well guess what? I'm not as defenseless now as I was then. It's time for some revenge!"

"Good luck," the Lepidopterran said before it slimed her in the face and she shouted out as he flew off.

"You're not getting away this time!" she said as she aimed her arrows after him.

Korra shielded Ben as she bent the metal in front of her to form a shield before sending tons of fireballs outwards from her hands and kicks that blew the prisoners back and even burned a few of them alive before she unsheathed her katana and sliced upwards, killing every prisoner in her path as she shouted out before using her airbending to blow a couple away from her.

Ben glared and broke a pipe free of its hinges as he swung outwards, blowing a few away as well and sent them tumbling over the edge with his enhanced speed, strength and endurance thanks to his Omni Suit as he kicked a Ripjaws species in the head, sending it tumbling into some others.

"Glad you could make it, Scarlett," Jen said as she and Scarlett sent out several energy waves and beams from their hands as Scarlett sent out a fireball away.

"We got the call about 2 hours ago," Scarlett said. "A certain Protector contact of mine who was in your quadrant picked up on the SDM signal and informed my superiors about it. She should be here now."

"Where though?" Jen asked as she looked upwards and saw the figure shed her cloak.

Maya glared and fired her energy cannon outwards towards the countless prisoners towards her, including the Predator as he shouted out to them.

Another figure shouted out and came barreling down from above and a Power Suit generated around her as she blasted energy blasts as well from her cannon as Maya looked up at her and rolled her eyes.

This woman's power suit was red and orange in its color scheme with spikes growing out of the left arm and the right arm, which sported a significantly larger energy cannon, split into two large claws with the cannon protruding out of the palm. The texture of her suit seemed more vein-like in design and her left hand had clawed fingers as well as paw-like pads on the palm. Her boots had padding as well as claws on the toes and her helmet was red with three blue visors on the face plate.

"Young lady," the woman said in a tough voice as Maya dodged some Lepidopterran slime as she and the new warrior dodged around and the two gave out several blasts from their arm cannons. "What were you thinking?! You and that Petrosapien partner of yours scheduled a trip to Incarcecon and you didn't even warn me to try to help you?!"

"Sorry, mother," Maya said as she backflipped over a Vulpimancer and blasted it in the collar. "But the Omnitrixes are in self-destruct mode! Me and Tetrax were the closest to Earth and we had to do something."

"Luckily for you, I'm a Protector," Maya's mother said as she fired an ice blast from her cannon that froze a nearby Fernovian that she glared. "It's kind of my job to defend the multiverse from anything. And that requires knowing when the most powerful devices in the universe are about to go boom and take the entire universe with them."

Becky and Allison dodged over a Tetramand prisoner and Allison morphed her hands into shields as Becky fired out her arrows, blasting down a Pyrolampus.

"Maya?" Becky asked. "Who's your friend?"

"Oh, I'm a little more than her friend," the woman said with a smile.

"Guys," Maya said as the team assembled in front of her as she rubbed her arm cannon. "Meet my mother... Samus Aran."

"Nice to meet you," Samus said as she ran forwards and gave a strong kick to an alien as she got the two girls and ran forwards as she gave a strong concussion blast towards Sixsix and the Predator each, knocking them out as she moved towards Tetrax.

"Samus," Tetrax said.

"Shard," Samus said as Tetrax activated his hoverboard as the Omni Twins and Scarlett bared their weapons ahead and glared towards her.

"Be careful," a prisoner said. "With those things on their wrists, they can turn into any one of us that they want."

"Yeah, but if they knew how to control them, they would've used them again by now."

"Give me those things!" a Pyrolampus said as Scarlett shouted out and gave an energy kick to it, swatting it away from the group as she and her soldiers all stood in a circle around them to protect them.

"Hold on!" Tetrax shouted as he came in flying on his hoverboard and mowed through the prisoners with his intense strength, sending them flying everywhere as the mother and daughter bounty hunters came rushing in and blasted them away with their energy blasts and missiles as they glared outwards at the squid alien on the balcony.

Tetrax leaped off his hoverboard and sent it flying into a Tetramand prisoner with an eyepatch.

The Tetramand glared and crushed the board into pieces with his intense strength.

"Whoa!" Becky gulped in fear.

"That was my favorite board!" Tetrax glared as he aimed his arms outwards and fired several crystals as Samus and Maya ran forwards and blasted away with their blasts, the crystals sticking him to the wall.

"How do these lowlifes know about the Omnitrixes?" Samus asked the twins as they shrugged.

"Funny story," Jen gulped. "We'll tell you later."

Our heroic forces shouted out as they formed a circle and continued swatting away the prisoners with their intense strength and weapons.

A bull variant of Flataurus' species came charging towards the twins before he was suddenly tripped up and fell unconscious.

They looked to see the female Vilgax standing over them, brushing off her fist.

"Look, lady, we're sorry for the whole 'Chew you up" thing," Jen said. "We thought you were someone else."

She looked down with a glance and her eyes widened when she saw the Omnitrixes glowing orange and purple/red.

"What are you two doing with the Omnitrixes?"

"What does it matter to you?" Ben asked.

"Plenty after all the work I put into them only for them to wind up in the hands of two human children!"

"Wait," Jen said. "You created the Omnitrixes? You're Azmuth?"

"Oh, thank goodness," Ben said. "There's something wrong with the watches."

"Yeah," Azmuth said. "I can see that."

Scarlett swatted a few more soldiers away as Bayonetta blasted away with her guns and Kratos fired his arrows t them as they charged.

Lucky Girl looked up to the pipes above and an idea struck her.

"Histus Potiva!"

She thrust her glowing hand up, which separated the pipe and sent a cloud of red gas spurting out, sending the alien prisoners choking and falling unconscious at her feet.

"Hey, guys!" Matter Girl said as she front-flipped over a prisoner and sent him crashing down with her legs as she landed on his shoulders. "Less chit-chat, more combat!"

"Can you fix the Omnitrixes?" Jen desperately asked Azmuth as Ryu sliced a prisoner's legs off and then stabbed in the heart next to her.

"First you got to get me out of this galactic sewer."

They suddenly were grabbed by two prisoners who led them to the others and carried them away mosh pit style.

"Hey!" Jen shouted.

"Claws off of us!" Ben shouted.

"Ben, Jen!" Maya shouted as she, Scarlett and Tetrax came rushing forwards, bashing through all the alien prisoners with a shout.

Suddenly, the Omnitrixes built up the orange energy once again and Jen gulped.

"Oh come on!" Ben said. "Like we don't have enough problems!"

The energy built up bigger than ever this time and sent a large explosion outwards, which knocked out everyone in the area, good or bad, sending them in a heap.

Lucky Girl and Matter Girl were the first to recover as they ran over to the twins.

"Ben, Jen!" Matter Girl shouted as she helped them up as the rest of the heroes recovered with a groan of pain. "Are you okay?"

"What?" Ben groaned. "Mom, I don't wanna go to school!"

Scarlett and her party as well as Maya, Samus and Tetrax came walking up to them with a glare.

"Yeah," Lucky Girl smiled to the others. "They're okay."

"But they won't be for long unless we can figure a way out of here!" Scarlett said.

Suddenly, the Resolute came flying up with Gluto at the helm as he smiled to the heroes and invited them to come aboard as he gestured to Samus with a happy smile.

"He's already picked up my starship and it's in the garage on the ship?" Samus said. "No one touches my property!"

The Resolute turned around, revealing the open cockpit as the heroes all shouted out and ran towards the bay, leaping into it with Tetrax and Scarlett carrying the hurt twins towards it.

"Scarlett, Tetrax, wait!" Jen said. "The creator!"

"You are not authorized to be in this maximum security area," the prison's A.I. announced. "Exit or your vehicle will be destroyed."

As everybody leaped into the ship, they glared outwards as the wall's cannons heated up and blasted towards them as everyone swatted away the prisoners as they tried to leap onto the ship as well.

Scarlett in particular cut the head off of one and sent its body falling into the abyss.

"Gluto!" Tetrax ordered. "Get us out of here!"

Gluto obliged and flew the ship away out of the prison as fast as possible.

The prison's security wasn't having this however and sent some drones outward to chase down the ship as Korra shouted out and fired a few fire blasts along with Ryu and Scarlett as they blasted the drones away while Kratos used the Blade of Olympus to swat a few prisoners off of the ship along with the others.

Tetrax was about to swat away Azmuth before Jen stopped him.

"Tetrax, stop!" Jen shouted. "That's the creator!"

Tetrax looked out as Samus charged up her arm cannon and held it to Azmuth's head.

"Duck," she said.

Myaxx quickly ducked as Samus fired a missile outwards, blasting the last prisoner away and sailing into the prison.

Suddenly, Becky's old nemesis came flying up as well as he fired slime blasts towards her and she shouted out in anger.

"You're not leaving without me!"

"I am so done with you, stinky!" she said as she leaped upwards and grabbed him by the throat as she held a knife to his eyes and glared.

"Ben, close the hatch, now!" Maya said.

"We're gonna be blown to bits!" Azmuth shouted, concerned.

"Okay, it's official," Ben said. "She is definitely not Vilgax."

They dodged the lasers that the drones shouted as Becky glared at her nemesis.

"Consider this mercy compared to what you did to me," she said as she shouted out and slit the Lepidopterran's throat with her knife before Maya blasted him away, dead, and went splat against the drones.

"Close the hatch, Ben! Close the hatch!" Lucky Girl shouted as Ben nodded and pressed the button, which closed the hatch, leaving everybody safe as the ship left Incarcecon for good.

"Well," Matter Girl said to Huntress. "You got your revenge."

"I know," she said as she sheathed her knife. "And it feels so good. But I'm not gonna do it again."

"Tetrax," Lucky Girl gulped. "Are you sure that this is the right way out?"

"Gluto's got it covered!" Tetrax said as Gluto controlled the ship and flew around the innards of the prison while Scarlett sighed and shook her head.

"We're all gonna die."

Everyone made it up to the top part of the ship as Gluto dodged the laser blasts.

"Big wall, coming up fast!" Ben shouted.

"We're not gonna make it," Azmuth sighed.

"I'm with squid girl on this one," Bayonetta said.

"They may have a point," Huntress gulped.

"Head down and hold on!"

Gluto sent out some blasters towards the drones, destroying one and glared intensely.

"Gluto's on it!" Tetrax said.

Everyone in the ship gasped and held their heads as they ducked down as the ship made a 90 degree turn, casing the other drone to smash into the wall behind them as Gluto dodged and sent them flying out of Incarcecon towards the gate.

"We made it!" Huntress said, hugging her sister intensely as everyone groaned and sat down in the ship.

"That was so cool!" Ben said as he and his sister removed their helmets and Gwen, Becky and Allison removed their masks in relief. "Let's... never do that again."

Little did our heroes know, their old enemies were hanging onto the edge of the ship and held on intensely. Suddenly, one of the station's lasers came out and blasted them away into the space surrounding them as the ship exited through the gate. Luckily, their helmets assisted them to breathe in the lack of atmosphere.

The Predator gave out a few clicks as a curse.

As they left, a young man who looked similar to Drake Flame, but with longer fangs looked outwards and glared.

Inside the Resolute's laboratory, Azmuth examined the Omnitrixes with a scanner as Scarlett, Samus, Maya, Tetrax, Gwen, Becky and Allison stood by nervously.

"What have you two been using these for? To open cans? Break rocks?"

"Sounds about right," Gwen glared.

"Shut up, Gwen," Jen said.

Samus and Scarlett walked to the side of the room and started talking.

"Long time no see, Aran," Scarlett nodded.

"It's been a long time. Who knew that having a vacation from the Emerald Army wouldn't account for my duties as a Protector? It's also been awhile since I've seen my daughter. But I didn't think that the entire universe being at stake would be the reason why."

"I can only imagine," Scarlett said, bowing her head. "I'm only familiar with dimension travel, not really space travel. That's why you're the expert in intergalactic activities in the Protectors."

"I agree," Samus said. "Let's see how Azmuth is doing."

"What about the self-destruct?" Ben asked. "I'm sure the genius who invented the Omnitrixes can stop the countdown without totally turning them off, right?"

"Maybe, but there is a problem..." Azmuth said before bowing her head and sighing. "I didn't officially create the Omnitrixes."

"WHAT?!" Everyone inside asekd.

"You mean you're not the-"

"Egocentric, selfish, self-promoting, 'oh, aren't I so brilliant' creator of the Omnitrixes? No. I'm Myaxx, his assistant."

"But they have your DNA signature on them!" Maya said.

"I... may have accidentally erased Azmuth's DNA signature and repalced it with my own but that's just because he never gave me the credit I deserve."

Scarlett angrily unsheathed her sword and pointed it at the squid alien. "You may have done well to mention this to us when we were risking our necks to bust you out of jail!"

"Yeah, but if I did, I would still be rotting in that slime pit, wouldn't I?"

"You can't stop the self-destruct countdown?!" Jen worriedly asked.

"Azmuth never trusted me with the abort sequence."

Tetrax glared and walked forward before grasping Myaxx by the collar and pressed her against the wall.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't shove you into an energy tube and shoot you back to Incarcecon right now?!"

"Because I know where Azmuth is."

"Okay, I'll admit, that's a pretty good reason," Ben said.

"Where?" Maya asked.

"Xenon."

"Xenon?" Samus said, eyes widening and putting a hand to her head and she stumbled backwards, sitting down against the wall. "Why did it have to be Xenon?"

"Something tells me that Xenon isn't the ideal vacation paradise," Gwen gulped.

The twins removed their Omnitrixes from the scanners and walked away disappointed.

"The energy blasts like the ones on Incarcecon," Myaxx said after them. "They're growing larger and more intense, aren't they?"

"Yeah..." Jen said, raising an eyebrow.

"That indicates that the Omni energy inside is growing to critical levels. Eventually."

"We know," Ben said. "Poof. We're toast."

"Well, not just you of course."

"Say what?" Jen asked as she started to grow angry.

"What are you talking about?" Ben asked.

"Ask them, they know," Myaxx said, gesturing to Tetrax, Samus and Maya as they looked nervous. "You didn't tell them?"

Tetrax sighed and bowed his head.

"If the self-destruct is allowed to detonate, the explosions will cause an energy ripple that'll literally rip apart the universe... including Earth."

"Grandpa," Ben, Jen, Gwen and Becky gasped.

"All our friends," Allison said. "They'll all be doomed."

"Azmuth is a hopeless paranoid," Myaxx remarked. "He built in the self-destruct as a last resort to keep his most prized creations out of the wrong hands. But he didn't think that anyone would be foolish enough to actually activate it."

"Then he's obviously never met the twins," Allison said.

"I'm can't believe that you guys knew about this the whole time and didn't tell us!" Jen shouted to the hunters.

"We're sorry, Jen," Tetrax said. "I though you'd be more concerned with how this affected you rather than others."

"Excuse me?!" Ben asked. "We're heroes! I know we were selfish with the Omnitrixes before, but we're heroes! We're always concerned about others!"

"True," Maya said. "You and your brother do help a lot of people with the Omnitrixes. But ask yourselves this: do you help people because it's the right thing to do or for the thrill of being a hero?"

The twins sighed and looked down in thought as Jen breathed out.

"It doesn't matter now. What matters is that the entire universe is doomed if we don't find Azmuth. Let's get to Xenon pronto."

"Right," Tetrax agreed.

Meanwhile, outside of Incarcecon, Vilgax's hijacked ship investigated outside of the prison with the Bioids investigating the space for traces of the Omni energy.

"Scan the area," Vilgax ordered before he noticed two familiar figures in the space outside. "There. Retrieve those."

The Bioids activated the ship's tractor beam and brought the two bounty hunters in.

Once inside, Sixsix and the Predator gave out an explanation in their language as to what had happened in Incarcecon.

"But they must not have found what they were looking for on Incarcecon. Their current trajectory has them headed into the Hugopata Quadrant," Vilgax said before looking on in thought. "What do the Tennyson Twins know that I don't?"

The Predator gave out a few clicks, prompting Vilgax to shoot towards them.

"Silence!"

He swatted the two into the wall as they recovered and angrily aimed all of their weapons outwards towards their old client.

"You had better be very sure of your actions," Vilgax warned as he briefly activated his steroid pumps.

Scared, the two instantly put their weapons away and glared at the warlord.

Myaxx placed a clamp of some kind on the Omnitrixes as everyone else looked on.

"These containment devices should deflect the energy fluctuations back into the Omnitrixes while still giving you full access to the control dials," she explained.

"Fat lot of good that'll do us if we can't use them anyway," Jen said, remembering that they couldn't hero or else the countdowns would accelerate.

Everyone felt a major bump outside and were instantly shaken from the impact and were immediately prompted to go back up to the flight deck, where Bayonetta, Kratos, Korra and Ryu were waiting for them.

"Gluto, status!" Maya ordered as Gluto said something to her and Tetrax in his language.

"Xenon," Samus said.

"Uh, where?" Allison asked as the ship moved into complete darkness.

"Azmuth created a device that absorbs all the light of this quadrant," Myaxx explained as Gluto turned on the ship's headlights. "Of course, I was the one who calculated the entire particle absorbtion matrix, but will he admit that? Of course not!"

Everyone in the room glared at her as she immediately zipped her lip.

"Anyway... Xenon is surrounded by an asteroid belt."

"Which you can't see because Azmuth turned out all the lights," Korra realized.

"Exactly," she gestured to a few asteriods that were actually visible in the darkness. "Those are failed attempts."

"Even Gluto can't drive blind," Tetrax said.

"How are we supposed to get to Xenon if we can't see it?" Jen asked.

"The answer is on your and your brother's wrists," Myaxx said, gesturing to the Omnitrixes.

"Oh boy..." Ben said.

Outside, the twins were safe inside their Omni-Suits using their boots' magnetic grip to stick to the top of the ship without flying away as they looked on into the darkness.

"Explain to us again what we're doing out here?" Ben asked.

"The Omnitrixes each have a built-in homing device," Myaxx explained. "We should be close enough for them to guide us through the asteroid field."

"Should be?" Scarlett asked, raising an eyebrow.

"That's never a good thing to hear," Ryu said, shaking his head.

"Okay," Jen said nervously. "This is so creepy. I think Ghostfreak would love it here."

Suddenly, an asteroid came flying in and smashed into the ship, sending everyone sprawling from the impact.

"What are you two doing?!" Myaxx shouted. "You're supposed to be directing us or the ship will be ripped to shreds!"

"Right," Ben said. "The entire universe is depending on us. No pressure."

The twins then heard a beeping from the Omnitrixes as they let out a green and pink light that sent out a signal to Xenon and the hourglass symbols moved towards a glowing dial on the right side.

"It's working!" Jen said.

Gluto turned to Samus and gave a few panicked gestures.

"I know, I know, I was going to," Samus said. "Should we go to starboard or to port?"

"In English, please?" Ben asked.

"He means 'right' or left!'" Gwen said.

"Well, why didn't he just say so?" Ben asked as he looked at the Omnitrix. "Go right."

Gluto directed the Resolute to the right, only to crash into some asteroids.

"I mean left! Go left!"

"This is why we never give them the map book in the Rust Bucket," Becky sighed.

This continued on a bit with Gluto nervously flying and the twins directing them through the asteroid belt from the Omnitrixes' instructions. Then, suddenly, a green and pink light burst from the Omnitrixes and were sent barreling out into the darkness of space before they eventually illuminated Xenon in all its glory.

"We did it!" Jen said.

"Well done, you two," Maya said. "Come on in."

Gluto suddenly got a worried look on his face as he gestured to the radar to see an enemy ship approaching them.

The twins looked upwards and gasped as they saw a large asteroid flying towards them as Jen shouted out and let loose the largest energy beam she could muster that blasted straight through the giant space rock that was blown to smithereens before she felt herself going woozy from the amount of energy she released before she fell into her brother's arms.

They looked upwards and gasped when they saw the giant space ship flying above them and it shot down several tether lines with drills on the end into the roof of the ship and started drilling into it, sending them flying into space.

"No," Ben said. "It can't be!"

"Vilgax!" Maya glared.

"What?" Gwen asked. "But how did he escape the Null Void?!"

Gluto pulled up an image and they saw some mecha droids flying down to try to get into the ship.

"Surrender the Omnitrixes and your deaths will be swift!"

"I'm not ready to die!" Becky gulped.

"Set a course for the Tennyson twins."

"We're goners now!" Myaxx said.

"Not while I'm in charge," Samus said as she and her daughter activated their Morph Suits and glared.

"Ben, Jen! I'm sending two gyropods to pick you up," Tetrax said as he typed in the controls.

"I'll just go stink and fly us back there."

"No, Ben. We can't afford to accelerate the countdown," Scarlett said. "Do as the Petrosapien says."

"Allison," Maya said. "You guys and Gluto keep Vilgax and company busy for awhile."

"Roger," Allison said as she, Gwen and Becky put on their masks, ready for battle.

Two gyropod capsules came flying out of the Resolute and towards the twins, who nodded to each other and immediately got inside them.

The Biods burned a hole into the hull of the Resolute and several robots made their way into the vehicle along with Vilgax himself, Sixsix and the Predator as they made their way forwards.

Inside, the battle team, led by Scarlett, unsheathed their weapons and glared outwards as they looked at the camera.

"We can't let them destroy this ship. Split up! Destroy them all!" Scarlett shouted as she unsheathed her sword and Keyblade and gave out a war cry as they moved towards the inner bowels of the ship with ruthless abandon as they all split up into groups towards different directions.

Meanwhile, Ben and Jen looked inside of their respective gyropods and looked outwards at the strange configurations of the controls.

"What kind of weird alien is this thing built for?" Ben asked.

"I think I have a good idea," Jen said. "Gluto."

"Right, right," Ben said as they settled in and set up a communications hub with each other inside using their Omnitrixes.

"How hard could it be?" Jen wondered to herself as she set her feet on the pads along with her brother as they investigated the control scheme of the pods.

The Bioids moved throughout the ship and investigated every nook and cranny as one opened a doorway only to have its head blasted off by Bayonetta's guns as she came in and vanished in the blink of an eye.

Another looked out as two chain blades came flying in and yanked it inwards before the metal pieces came flying outwards while in the blink of an eye, one had its body vertically sliced downwards by Ryu's Dragon Sword before a fourth one was freezed completely by Korra's waterbending before Matter Girl rushed in and slammed it to pieces with her brute strength.

Tetrax looked on from above as he pressed a button on his control remote and the walls rushed in and completely crushed the remaining Bioids in the area before he left as the others looked on and he ducked back inside.

Ben and Jen struggled to use the gyropods controls as they gulped down nervously.

A cup suddenly appeared in front of Ben and filled itself with water and he groaned outwards and swatted it away.

Jen's eyes suddenly widened as far as they would go as they found themselves right in front of a mountain-sized asteroid and she screamed in fear.

"Oh man!" she screamed. "Where's Gluto when you need him?!"

They both screamed before they suddenly found the pods turning right to avoid the asteroid. They looked at their sides to see two large levers coming from the top that were obviously used for steering the pods.

"Alright!" Ben said. "Now we're talking!"

They each took the levers and smirked and looked at the visor and avoided the rocks shooting up from the asteroids as they smiled to each other through the communications.

"This isn't so hard once you figure it out," Jen realized.

They both flew away from the asteroid and back towards the ships with a smile clear on their faces.

Vilgax's ship took notice of them and started firing its lasers outwards and fired some of its drone ships after it as Jen glared.

"Come on!" she shouted. "These things have to have some weapons of some kind!"

In the Resolute Lucky Girl and Huntress looked outwards while avoiding the Biods that were searching the ship for the twins or any of their allies.

They nodded to each other as Huntress made some gestures with her hands as they both ran away.

Some arrows flew through the robots nearby as Scarlett ran in and sliced them to bits with her blades as she glared outwards and smashed the processor with her foot as Ryu and Korra flanked her as they wandered through the ship.

Samus and Maya moved quickly through the ship as they went into Morph Ball mode and left some bombs throughout the area set to go off at the Bioids' footsteps.

"Get to the garage," Samus said. "Our starships are parked there."

"Of course, Mom," Maya said as they both got out of Morph Ball mode and ran towards the ship's garage.

Tetrax glared as he tossed Myaxx a suit.

"Where are we going now?" Myaxx asked.

"Outside,' Tetrax said. "We need to free the Resolute from Vilgax's ship."

"Me? Outside? In space?" Myaxx panicked. "Oh no! We Chimera Sui Gerenis are more of a land-based species."

"That doesn't matter now," Tetrax said. "If we don't clear those tethers by the time we clear Xenon's gravitational pull, both ships will be destroyed in re-entry and we'll all be dead."

"Well, when you put it that way..."

In the pilot's sector of the ship, Vilgax, Sixsix and the Predator suddenly appeared from the elevator with a glare as they looked towards Gluto's sector where a slight gelatinous mass remained.

"It appears we have scared the pilot right out of his skin," Vilgax examined, not noticing as an orange mass slithered its way away from them.

The Predator looked to see the camera from outside showing Tetrax and Myaxx working to break the tethers away.

"Stop them, you two!"

The evil bounty hunters nodded and ran towards the elevator, riding it to the ship's roof.

Vilgax didn't notice as Gluto suddenly appeared and wrapped himself around his body, causing him to hit himself with his own large fist while Matter Girl ran in and slammed down on him with a metal kick to the head.

Ben and Jen flew their gyropods outwards and tried their best to outfly the drones as they fired their lasers after them and Jen screamed outwards, every ounce in her body begging her to use her Omnitrix, but she ignored them, as hard as it was to do so, as Tetrax looked after them.

"What are you two doing?" he asked. "Get back to the ship!"

"Like we're not trying!" Ben said. "These things are too persistent!"

Jen groaned as she felt the impact of an asteroid brush by her and she fell down as her feet hit the pads at the bottom, which actually sent out some green lasers, which destroyed an asteroid, whose fragments were sent flying backwards and destroyed a drone.

"Alright!" Jen said as she looked to her brother on the communications hub. "Ben, push the pads on the bottom. They're lasers!"

The two then turned the pods around and faced the drones flying towards them. They immediately mashed the bottom pads as hard as they could, blasting the drones to bits after about a minute as they cheered.

"Woo-hoo!" Ben cheered before he felt a blast from behind and saw more drones approach.

"Uh-oh," Jen said nervously.

Suddenly, they were destroyed by multiple laser blasts as they saw two starships that looked like the visors of Samus and Maya's Morph Suits looking after them.

"Don't worry. We've got you guys!" Samus said.

Lucky Girl and Huntress ducked inside the hover simulator as they saw some Bioids walk into the room and Huntress smiled.

"Hold on, sis," she said. "I have an idea."

She then walked over and typed into the simlulators computer as she turned to her twin and nodded sharply.

Lucky Girl's eyes and tattoos started glowing as she stuck her hand out, showing her anger.

"Segma Sofom!"

The hoverboards hanging on the rack started flying outwards and smashed right into the Bioids as Lucky Girl directed them outwards and slammed them into the wall as she and her sister high-fived and they ran away as Huntress smiled.

"Buh-bye."

The door closed as the the sisters ran away and the simulator instantly activated, sucking the robots into a void as they were sent flying in various directions and slamming into the walls.

Then, one of the Bioids from before struggled out of the simulator, its arm cut off. It angrily followed them with determination plain on its visor.

Vilgax, Gluto and Matter Girl continued to fight as Matter Girl slammed him away with her mallet fists and Gluto oozed all over him before Vilgax angrily slammed him into the ground, the gelatinous substance flying everywhere before he lifted off a piece of the floor and smashed it down onto the pilot.

The slime moved for a bit before it stopped instantly.

"No!" Matter Girl shouted.

"How dare you touch me, you slime!" VIlgax said as Matter Girl angrily ran in with her blade arms before he swatted her away with one punch, causing her to fall against the wall and into an unconscious state as her armor dissolved around her.

The twins in their pods ducked outwards and flew away while the drones fired after them as they flew away while mother and daughter flew after them firing their ship's blasters and blowing some of the drones up as they chased the twins.

The twins ducked inside of the hole in the asteroids and saw the hole didn't go all the way through. They desperately smashed the pads down and fired who knows how many lasers towards the wall and blasted a hole in the end as the other drones were smashed by the wall and Samus and Maya's ships flew after them.

"Cool!" Ben said.

"Forget Sumo Slammers. I'll take this any day!" Jen cheered.

Tetrax and Maya released two of the tethers from the Resolute as Tetrax activated his radio and called the twins.

"Ben, Jen, I'm opening up the rear ramp. Park the pods in the cargo bay."

"Okay," Ben said. "We'll try."

Inside, Vilgax glared after them as they moved towards the cargo bay.

Just as the pods got next to the cargo bay, they were suddenly attacked by the drones as they attached onto the pods.

"Crap!" Ben said.

"We can't blast the drones!" Maya said. "We can't risk hurting the twins!"

The twins groaned outwards from the jolt as they saw Sxisix and the Predator move upwards and gasped as they approached Tetrax and Myaxx.

"Tetrax, Myaxx, look out!" Jen gasped as they approached the ship.

Tetrax gasped as the Predator blasted him away with a strong punch.

Tetrax ran away and tumbled as Sixsix went after Myaxx as he lasted after her, but she used her intense strength to pick up a piece of metal to protect herself from the laser blasts before she gasped.

Samus and Maya looked outwards and blasted their starships' lasers outwards, which slammed into the two bounty hunters, blasting their helmets off, revealing their hideous reptilian faces.

Maya screamed outwards in effort as she and her mother blasted the two bounty hunter away and sent them flying outwards into space.

Myaxx looked on as the twins panicked as the drones started to rip the pods apart.

Lucky Girl and Huntress nervously looked around the flight deck, Huntress' fingers rapping her spear every second with an anxious look on her face.

"Gluto?" Huntress asked.

Lucky Girl gasped when she saw her friend slumped against the wall, clearly hurt.

"Ally!" she shouted as she ran over to the Osmosian girl, who groaned when she stood up.

"Ugh," she said as she struggled to stand to her feet. "Vilgax attacked."

"Oh no!" Huntress said as she saw the slime splattered all over the place under the piece of the floor.

Suddenly, they gasped when they saw the Bioid from before aim his blaster at them.

Gluto suddenly oozed out from the floor and wrapped himself around the blaster as it charged up, the blockage causing it to implode and send pieces of Gluto's body flying everywhere, including splattering on Huntress' pelt clothing.

"No!" she shouted.

"He's gone," Allison said. "He sacrificed himself to save us."

Bayonetta and Kratos appeared from the elevator and saw the mess splattered everywhere.

"Ugh, what a mess," Bayonetta said, looking everywhere.

"I believe our pilot is gone," Kratos said as everyone bowed their heads in respect.

The twins ducked into the cargo bay and shouted out as the drones finally destroyed the gyropods, taking themselves out with them. Ben and Jen were sent flying from the impact and crashed into the wall behind them with a groan as the cargo bay doors closed.

"Well, that hurt," Jen said as she and Ben took their helmets off only to find a large boot land in front of them.

"Hello, Ben. Jen," Vilgax said.

Jen gasped outwards when she saw this and started cowering in fear as she hugged her brother.

"How can this be?" Ben said. "We trapped you and Kevin in the Null Void!"

"You can't keep an alien warlord down," Vilgax glared. "You two are going to regret sending me to the Null Void for what little remains of your natural born lives!"

He reeled his fist back for a punch, but Jen blocked it with a forcefield and glared outwards as she and Ben backflipped away from him towards the door.

They hurriedly ran away into a maze of crates as Vilgax came chasing after them.

"Look, Vilgax," Ben said. "The Omnitrixes are in self-destruct mode. Even if you get them from us, you'll just wind up blowing to bits along with the rest of the universe!"

"I'll take my chances."

"It's official," Jen gasped. "He's gone insane."

Tetrax and Myaxx finished off breaking the tethers off of Vilgax's ship as the Resolute came flying away from the group and shouted out and flew back towards Xenon as Scarlett, Korra and Ryu suddenly appeared and ducked by them.

"Vilgax is here," Ben said. "He wants the Omnitrixes."

"I won't leave you," Scarlett promised as she unsheathed her Keyblade as they heard a voice from nearby.

"Hey, Vilgax!" he said.

Vilgax turned around and saw a young man standing there with a smirk.

"Oh no," Scarlett said as she exasperated and sheathed her sword. "It's him."

They looked out to see the newcomer. He looked very similar to their friend Drake Flame but his hair had more of a flaming shape, he had larger dragon-like fangs, and his right eye has a birthmark shaped like a phoenix. He wore red and black battle armor that looked very similar to Drake's own as Scarlett glared.

"Drake Flame's son," she explained to them as he smiled to them.

"Please," he said. "Call me Eragon."

Eragon unsheathed his large sword and engaged Vilgax in combat with powerful blows and fire waves outwards as Scarlett ran in and used her energy blasts and spells to take Vilgax out as she and Eragon gave out massive blows to the warlord that sent him flying back into the cargo bay door as Eragon opened his mouth and sent out a massive jet of flame from it, blsating into Vilgax as he glared outwards from the beatdown he received from the two warriors.

"Long time, no see, Scarlet Warrior," Eragon said as he bowed to her and she glared hatefully at him. "How's the business with the Protectors going?"

"None of your business, Flame," she said with a glare.

"Look," Jen said as she looked to the door controls. "We'll make you a deal. We'll give you the Omnitrixes without a fight. But you have to find the creator on Xenon and stop the self-destruct countdown

"I do not make deals, Tennyson!"

"That's okay," Ben said. "Neither do we!"

Korra ran up and slid under Vilgax's legs before she slammed her fist into the door controls, opening the bay doors before she ducked for cover along with the others.

"Say bye-bye, Vilgeek!" Jen said, sticking her tongue out at him.

"NOOOOO!" Vilgax shouted as he was sent flying out into Xenon's atmosphere.

Everyone in the room winced as they held onto various pieces of the floor and crates before Jen shouted out and pressed the button, closing the doors and saving everyone just as Samus and Maya flew their ships into the area.

Maya and Samus got out of the ships and saw the newcomer in the knight armor.

"Oh great, it's Eragon," Samus said.

"Well, Maya Aran," he said, brushing his finger along her chin with a smirk. "You and your partner Tetrax couldn't handle this alone, so dear old Mommy had to come in and help you."

"Hey, I didn't call my mom," Maya said. "She came of her own volition and free will and chose to help us find Azmuth."

"And we Protectors don't stand by in the presence of evil," Samus said. "We're not on good terms with you or your father."

"How did you get here?" Scarlett asked, pointing her sword at the dragon Osmosian.

"I snuck into the bay doors while the twins here were getting their butts kicked by the drones.

"No matter," Ryu said as eveyrone clamed down. "He's Drake's son. He only wants to defend the universe like us. He can help us."

"I really don't like you," Scarlett said as he smirked.

"You don't have to like me," Eragon said. "Dad said that you'd wouldn't be happy when I came here."

"The Omni-Twins are my jurisdiction, Osmosian," Scarlett said. "Sanctioned by the leaders of the Protectors themselves."

"Well, that doesn't matter now," he said. "We're approaching Xenon."

They all suddenly felt a sharp jolt through the area as the Resolute started to burn up in entry to Xenon.

Lucky Girl nervously pressed the buttons around her as Huntress, Matter Girl, Kratos and Bayonetta looked on.

"Okay," she said. "You can fly this thing. It's just like riding a bicycle."
