Chapter 23: Good morning wifey

"Princess Lyra, please take good care of yourself," Empress Aethera said, holding her hand.

Lyra nodded. "It is fine Mother, it won't take too long for us to come back."

Empress Aethera smiled and went to Lyrien and whispered. "Take good care of her, if anything happens to her you will be responsible."

"Yes Mother," he replied.

Lyra gets into the same carriage with princess Aurelia, both of them sit across from each other, they have to sit together because they only want to bring food and medicine.

Princess Aurelia stared at her and smiled. "Why did you later agree to coming along?"

"Lyrien had to beg me," she responded with a satisfied smile.

"You are making things so different for him, no wonder he wants to stay far away from you," she said and turned away.

Lyra held her fist and rolled her eyes.

It gets dark slowly.

"Your Highness, are you tired?" Lady Elara asked as she whispered.
