Chapter 24: A cook

They continue the journey after having their breakfast.

"Your Highness, we are here," Lady Elara informed.

Lyra nodded, she was happy that she would finally get a chance to be away from princess Aurelia.

Lyra stepped out of the carriage and was taken aback by the village's dire state. Chaos had erupted, with villagers vomiting and falling ill everywhere.

"Are they ok?" She asked as she covered her nose with clothes.

"That's why we are here, Your Highness," Lady Elara whispered.

A young girl ran to Angel Alice. "Please help my mother, she has been vomiting."

Angel Alice ran along with her to go and meet her mother, who was already in a death state.

The others also ran to help the villagers, while Lyra stood there not knowing what she did, she only knows what it is like to be in pain, when she lost her close friend in the orphanage, she did not have a family and she considered her as her only family not expecting to lose her.
