Water is quite unpredictable and ever-changing, and although much of it was explored in the original series, Shisui has an idea of the interesting things you can do with this element.
But before all that fun, why the hell was a Waterbender born in the Fire Nation?

I don't generally write many reviews, but this is by far one of the best avatar fan fictions so far, the way his reincarnation is handled, the changes in characters attitudes and how they interact, while they differ from the show, we're shown why through the way the MC interacts with others, the changes he's made, etc. The way the author explains why the firelord (both of them) believe in the words of a child, the conversation with the past avatars (which as of chapter 15, I hope affects aangs knowledge of him) The changes in zuko and azula, the latter of which I always felt bad for in the show, makes sense given the different environment, and the change in temperament of ozai. overall, other than some spelling or grammar mistakes here and there, this is a wonderful story of a guy that, while harboring some of the grudges and feelings of his past life, is trying his best to move on and just make the world he's in a better place without the worry of "plot knowledge", which he has, but doesn't care about.

this story is really amazing. long chapter, interesting story line, very good character interactions, and more importantly MC has his brain still healthy... he knew very what he is doing, not outright rejecting fire nation like some other FF. the only flaw is lacking chapter, so i would like to asking the AUTHOR about More chapter please....
I gave everything 3 stars in advance. I haven't started yet. When I finish, I will change the reference. Why did I start rating it? Because I love Avatar novels, but unfortunately none of them are ongoing. So I hope that this novel continues.

A unique take on the Avatar world. I love how it focuses on the world building and the advancements the fire nation is making. Also how the royal family is not so dysfunctional anymore. And from the bottom of my heart I thank thee for not using chatgpt to edit the story. I loath those stories with it even though the concept of the whole story is excellent. Finally, a decent avatar post. The mc is kinda op but its still good as he stays grounded and wants to live a little as a kid, while still making a difference. Overall, highly recommend.
Something interesting about this fic in particular, is how it's given the ability to portray both diversity and the political landscape of the fire nation beyond what we've seen in shows and some books

The author was very creative in giving such a personality to the MC, since most ATLA fics treat the Fire Nation as if it were a movement of the Austrian guy with the mustache.
