Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Elemental Zone
Maxim and Aaron waited outside for Saffiyah who was dressing Ash for their trip. "Ash, we will be staying in this zone for a week, your father and Aaron will be gone for a month. We just need to head to the store to bring along supplies for our stay" said Saffiyah, who got a normal looking broom. They both walked outside, Saffiyah called her husband and Aaron as the broom started to levitate, Aaron brought out a broom and it as well started to levitate. Maxim hopped onto Saffiyah broom and Saffiyah picked up Ash and sat upon her broom. "Let's go" said Saffiyah as they headed into town.
The Revera house is located in the fields of Redstone village, living in the outskirts proved to be peaceful but required a ride to go to town without having to walk a pretty short distance as Redstone village did not have a too big radius, that being five miles and a ten mile diameter that made a complete circle. The reason being that the founder of redstone had an OCD problem. The Adventurers of the town prefered to stay within the outskirts of Redstone.
Once the family of four reached the town grocery store, all of them got down. Saffiyah was still carrying Ash as they went around getting supplies, Saffiyah got two weeks worth of food, one supply for her who can eat much tougher foods, like edible monster meat and jerkies. Saffiyah also bought fruits, snacks, and juices for Ash. Maxim and Aaron got a 2-month supply of food for two people, mostly getting monster meat as it gave a stronger nutrition value then normal meat from F-ranked animals. Once they bought everything they packed it all into a small pouch that amazed Ash. "What is that bag?" asked Ash. "This is a storage pack, it was made using the stone of a space element monster. Space element based monsters are normally high C-rank monsters and let crafters make a small pocket dimension within a pouch or bag" Said Saffiyah as Maxim nodded to his wifes explanation.
"Mother, how do you and brother fly those brooms?" asked Ash. "We guide wind element mana which is almost as abundant as neutral mana since there is a constant wind in the atmosphere. Of course it would be harder to do this without having a wind based element affinity or going into a place with less of the energy. I will teach you how when you turn five" Said Saffiyah as she finished packing her pouch. "Why can't dad use it?" asked Ash. "That's because when I was younger I didn't have someone to teach me about mana, and it's difficult to improve and learn spells after you become of age." said Maxim with a slightly dejected face.
"Ash dear, we will be dropping your father and brother off first as the place they are going is closer. The Elemental Cave is not too far using a broom to get there" Said Saffiyah. "Ok mother" Said Ash as she watched as mana would flow around the broom to levitate and move it. Setting off to the places they were heading too. It took about ten minutes to reach the E-rank zone. Aaron slowly lowered the broom while Maxim just jumped down from Saffiyahs broom. "See you guys later" said Saffiyah as Maxim and Aaron waved us off. Ash and her mother continued their journey. Feeling the mana and breeze as they flew, Ash was feeling refreshed. "It might take us an hour to get there since your body is not used to high wind pressure yet" Said Saffiyah as Ash just nodded, continuing to enjoy the breeze. "So, danger zones work in weird ways, the place we dropped your dad and brother is a huge forest that surrounds Redstone, it as well extends pretty far. The place we're going to is a cave, it's going to be underground so the wind mana will mostly be stagnant or moving slowly, meaning that flying will be too slow and we might fall. So we're going to have to walk." Said Saffiyah as Ash nodded.
After an hour of flying, Saffiyah and Ash got to their destination. The aura of this place was intense and made both Ash and Grim shake. Looking at their mother, they noticed that she had no reaction whatsoever. Raising up her hand, different colors appeared, sending multiple small bead like things in multiple directsions. The aura of the zone died down as Saffiyah was about to reach the cave. Landig and putting Ash on the ground. "Now Ash, This is a very dangerouse place so stay near me at all times unless i tell you other wise right. I will be giving you a simple necklace for you to recognize it as me ok?" said Saffiyah. "Ok" said Ash who was still intimidated at the aura around them, "Lets go dear".
"Normally, people wouldnt bring a child into this kind of training until they reach at least ten years of age. Me and your father brought your brother here when he was three because of his talent and that his progress growed stagnant due to not being able to change the elements to match his own. The reason why ten years of age is the norm is because it takes a long time to get accustomed to mana and being able to control it, as well as being able to calm your mind and body enough to enter your subconscious. This place is very dangerous, so as a precossion my familiar Shiny will be staying by your side." said Saffiyah. "You have a familiar as well?" Asked Ash as both She and Grim were interested. "Hmm, so you have a familiar, if you do it would explain your two powerful attributes as they are a manifestation of your soul not fully forming when you are being born. If your attributes took multiple forms then they wouldnt be that strong. Your familiar however was not gained from adventuring, can I see them?" Said Saffiyah as Shiny appeared also interested. "We dont know how Grimoire can leave my body, however we can switch control." Said Ash dejected. "Thats a surprise, as a familiar taking over your body takes incredible mastery, trust, and a powerful bond between a host and a familiar" Said Saffiyah who was impressed. "Can I meet with them dear?"

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Meeting Grim
Ash and Grimoire switched, shocking Saffiyah even more. "For someone who was born not too long ago to have reached intermediate mastery over mana control is impressive" Said Saffiyah. "What do you mean?" asked Grim, "well, you dont exactly hide your mastery, there's a skill called aura concealment, it's a necessity when you come into the dangerouse situation of having to fight intelligent monsters or even people '' Said Saffiyah. "How do I do that?" asked Grim, "Simple, look at the aura you're emmiting right now, you're gonna want to pull it into you, as mana capacity, your strength and mastery all form an aura that bascally gives you away, or if youre strong enough, scares everything around you. Monsters and other people normally have a test of aura and will power before a fight even happens, however knowing how and when to hide your aura is an important tool for survival, as it is basically a cloak that hides you away from anything sensing you by instinct, however if they were to use mana sensing at a high enough level or have a skill for scouting you can be found". Hearing this, Grim closed her eyes and sensed the energ that they were emmiting and tried pulling it in instead of just letting it flow out.
"Sit down dear, there is no rush" Said Saffiyah who sat down on a fallen tree and took out a book to read. "I can give you instructions on how to do it but learning how to do it yourself is more beneficial as you will gain wisdom and more mastery" Grim nodded and sat down as well against a tree. Sensing the aura being emmited from their body. Trying out multiple things, from using their own energy to pull it in, using her willpower to try and control her aura and other things, this however did not work. Ash had an idea, 'Hey Grim, why dont we try to fuse', Grim agreed and tried to do something that seemed crazy. They tried making their energy flow sync, and after a few hours were able to do so. All of a sudden their mana pools combined into one, a big achievment for the two, however all of their mana was drained as it protected them from dying since they were split in two due to their latent talent. Dozing into sleep, noticing this, Saffiyah was incredibly impressed and shocked about how fast their mana was drained, "Great job you two".
Saffiyah continued a cycle of sending out magic projectiles around them, averting the attention of monsters whose aura could possibly scare the one year old to death. While waiting for the duo to wake up, Saffiyah finished reading the encyclopedia of Grand mastery of mana control and gained an epiphany that would possibly advance her mastery to a terrifying realm of control. Noticing a monster who was quick and getting too close, Saffiyah used her newfound knowledge and created a water sword and cut the flame bat in two. This zone was known as the Elemental Cave where the monster population were elemental bats, these bats dropped an element core which has an abundance of a certain mana element. Using water blades to cut up the bat and retrieving valuable material, Saffiyah used the flame core from the bat to give her fire element mana, increasing her mana capacity by a bit.
"This is one useful training zone for someone like me who can overpower a variety of elements, and use the cores for training." said Saffiyah who set her sights on a swarm of bats who were fighting over the magic projectile she sent out. Amused at such antics from the creatures, using her advanced mastery over mana control she made a swarm of mana bullets with many different elements, launching everything and guiding each bullet to their target. It took less than a second for Saffiyah to take out the swarm and a couple minutes to dissect them and store them. Taking the elemental cores and consuming them one by one waiting for her daughter to wake up.
After two hours of consuming cores, she finished and almost doubled her mana capacity, however due to consuming so many cores at once it lowered the effect of consuming them. "I'm most likely gonna have to wait another year before I can do this again, the rest of the cores I will store away for that array dude to use since element cores are expensive". Noticing something very rare, Saffiyah immediatly made a large elemental spear, "What luck, a space element bat, and a variant at that", said Saffiyah in a happy mood. The spear was launched with incredible speed and broke the large bat's right wing, sending it crashing down. Before that could happen though, Saffiyah sent a gust of wind and caught the bat, enclosing it into an elemental dome that prevented it from getting out. "The variant she caught was one that was more magic oriented, meaning that its core would be very valuable and would give her enough coins to buy one of the manuals that her daughter would need.
Feeling good about herself, Saffiyah set a camp and used an expensive monster repellant as she brought Ash in as it was getting late. They both slept the night without a problem. Book of Coins: The currency of humans are coins, they are coins that are forged from rare minerals found within deposits deep underground. These coins include Bronze, Silver, Gold, White Gold, and Royal Gold. It would take 1000 bronze to be equivelant to a silver coin, and so on and so forth. The significance of white gold is that it's a material that is used for arrays and items at a powerful level, it's one of the only materials that is used over all the races of the Over Realm. Another such currency is the Royal Coin, these are white gold minerals that have been soaked with mana that is so dense that it can allow crafters and other professions to make items at an unknown level of power. Different races use different things as currency, others use bartering instead.
