Chapter 6: Battle!
Battle
Now standing before the entrance to a vibrant forest, Ren is full of confidence as he continued inside.
"I wonder how much time has passed In the real world… it's a 10:1 ratio… if I spend 24 hours in-game time, then it might be just a little over 2 hours" Ren calculated in his mind.
Roar!
Suddenly he heard a bestial roar, he swiftly turned and saw a wolf like beast glaring at him with murderous intention.

"Level seven huh… time to use those attribute points" Ren thought to himself as he immediately put all 9 attribute points to damage!
With a chopping motion like that of an axe chopping a wood, a green wind blade appeared and swiftly headed towards the wolf!
Awoo!
The wolf howl and foolishly decided to face the attack head on, yet at die-minute, he felt an intense chill on its spine, trusting its instincts, it attempted to dodge!

Blood spurted out from its side as it howl painfully, yet Ren despite being slightly disgusted by the extremely realistic grotesque scene, raised his leg and brought it down upon the head of the Wolf!

The wolf howled painfully and instinctively counterattacked with a claw strike hitting Ren's leg and sending him off balance!

"What the hell?!" Ren cursed loudly seeing that he is down to 20 HP! Maybe his earlier decision to put all of his attribute points into damage isn't a wise one.
Upon thinking of that, he smiled wryly thinking to himself, "Seems like I've embark on the path of a glass cannon"
He grimaced as he stood up once more, putting some more distance between him and the wolf.
Mistaking his intentions for escape, the wolf immediately charged towards him!
"What a foolish beast"

A green wind blade struck its body once again, cutting so deep that its bones could be seen.

A warm feeling coursed through his body as he felt extremely closed to breaking through again.
"A minute of cultivation will definitely bring me to the fifth level of the Qi absorption realm" Ren muttered to himself, from the corner of his eyes, he caught the movement of a group of two players, a male and a female player.
"That green blade battle skill is pretty good!" The feminine player exclaimed.
"Hahah then I shall get it for you" The man laughed, seemingly in his late twenties with a tall stature.
"Yo kiddo, my girl here has taken a liken to your battle skill." The man approached standing a few feet away from Ren.
Ren's expression turn weird at this point, your girl has taken a liken to my battle skill? What the hell are you trying to imply? Aren't you going overboard with your shamelessness?!
Ren cursed him a hundred times in his mind yet quickly put on a straight face as he face the man, "Do you have coins?" Ren asked seriously.
"Yea, what about it?" The man raised an eyebrow, a blue glow appearing slowly on his body, the girl giggled from the side.
Ren's face turn ugly at this moment, this guy is definitely trying to intimidate him and the annoying thing is that he is at the seventh level of Qi absorption realm!
"Then we can have an exchange" Ren replied, unfazed.
"Exchange? Sure" The man stated, making a small smile appeared on Ren's face, it seems this man is not as bad as he thought.
"You can exchange it with your life!" Suddenly his tone changed as he threw a punch!
Ren's eyes widened, he quickly circulated his spiritual energy reinforcing his arms as he attempted to block the incoming attack!

Even though he reinforced his arms and managed a successful block, it still sent him skidding across the ground.
"Damn beast!" Ren cursed aloud, a numbing pain on his arms.
"That was just a casual punch, kid. Barely half of my strength, Give it to me right now, and I might let you live" The man confidently added, as if his words are absolute.
"Poor kid…" The girl gave him a glance full of pity, yet the smile on her face is clearly a smile of schadenfreude.
"This damn girl is enjoying my misery…" He thought, his expression turning frosty.
Seeing his red HP bar that only possessed ten points left, the HP he barely managed to recover from his fight against the bull already wasted by this gorilla of a man!
"Are you deaf or what?" The man impatiently asked, feeling annoyed and ignored by Ren's silence.
Swoosh!
Suddenly, Ren shoots towards him with an astonishing speed, his hand already enveloped by a green glow! The man narrowed his eyes as he swiftly reacted!
Swish!

"Argh! Damn pest!" The man howled in pain, on his chest is a bloody gash. In his anger, he captured Ren's throat with one hand shocking both Ren and the girl that was enjoying the scene.
"You have quite the high damage but a fourth level trash will always be trash!" With that said, he smashed Ren on the ground raising a small cloud of dust!
Ren felt something hard smashed on to his back more like his back smashed into something hard making his eyes shot wide open. Suddenly, his vision began to darken as the sounds around him seemed to be slowly growing distant!
"Don't kill him! Who knows if he will drop the battle-skill?" He heard the annoyed voice of the girl.
"Dammit… just for my cultivation skill" Ren smiled bitterly as he lack the strength to even utter a single word, just silently cursing them in his mind.
"Ayya… my bad. It's not my fault that he is too weak" The man laughed embarrassingly and that, is the last thing Ren heard before he succumbed to his injuries as darkness enveloped him.
