After shaking hands with the man all other buyers disappear from the pitch-black room. The man in the white cloak starts speaking.
"Let us start with the basics, you can call me Doc, our contract implies me giving you orders and stuff but before we get into it I'll take my souls, boy"
He puts his hands on my forehand and before I even comprehend what's going on I feel immense pain.
Not Chinese novel pain, where your every living part gets sucked out of your body, but a fucking ride in the pain mobile. My head feels like it's getting crushed between two rocks.
And let me start with the sounds. It's like a literal demon from hell whispers whatever he comes up with.
The pain was thankfully only for a few seconds and I can start concentrating again. I have kept my eyes on the angel lady during the auction so I was pretty ok but now it's different. He gives me a weird glance and clicks his tongue, turning around to snap his finger and letting a living room come to reality. He sits down on the sofa while massaging his temples.
"You are a collection of souls. To be precise you are the collection of 7billion+ souls. Your memories are fake and only there for you to not panic and get prejudiced against angelic beings so the auction can be held fairly. They were the ones personally killing all of humanity off."
"Ok. I. understand. a. bit. more. Where. am. I.?"
I can't talk normally because of the memories, from thousands of humans.
"We are in the space between worlds so every thought here can create things from nothing. Anyway, when I send you to reincarnate I want a few things from you"

The Human chimera body is somewhat different from the body of a homunculus. It is highly adaptable and won't lose any strength or muscle memory over time.
Its regenerative capabilities are only slightly better than humans but it's possible to learn every type of magic in the multiverse with it. Now, do you have any more questions, my boy?"

"All of these questions are good but I'm only going to answer two of them. Firstly my order for you is to give me five billion human souls, the amount you still have in you so buying you makes a profit. The reason why I chose to give you alchemy instead of any other magic of the multiverse is the ability to give the souls directly to higher-level beings with certain rituals also in the book.
If you bring me less than five billion souls after your little transmigration is over, your next order will be to give me all your other souls effectively killing you.

I should also mention that you can use your souls to make philosopher's stones but it would literally kill you."
When doc is finished with his dialog he snaps his finger and a blinding white light appears in front of me.
"Go through it and let your name be known boy"
Doc says giving me no choice to think about the genocides I'll commit in my next life. He kicks me into the light making me faint.
