/ War / A History of War
Synopsis
Life is difficult enough for a Lirian soldier. Training for ten years, hunting evil deimos, solving crimes, facing powerful weilders, keeping the peace in a tension-filled world, each Lirian soldier has a lot on their plate. It doesn't become any easier if you have to deal with a dark past that looms at every corner. How will Lais Felix and Helen Song, two best friends with tragic pasts, handle life as soldiers while running from their past? Will they manage to escape their tragic beginnings? Or will the past finally catch up to them?

Write a reviewIt's a really good story, good characters, and most importantly a good freakin plot. The holy trinity of storytelling so to speak. My only gripe is with the spelling and grammar. Nothing a good editor cannot solve. Easily one of the best stories around otherwise.
Writing quality is actually amazing! It's smooth like butter, dragging me to read the next chapter! The only concern that I have are some lengthy paragraphs. Although this is not actually proble, but I think trimming it down would make a difference. I really love soldiers and their past lives. It has a lot of emotions.
Nice story with fantastic plot!!! Synopsis is interesting too to impress readers to read the story especially who love soldiers or their life. Looking forward to get more and more.
Reveal SpoilerThe flowing and lively dialogue, descriptive and engaging battle, and a blend of medieval and modern setting. This is the kind of story that invite you to read more
This is a great example of how 1st pov can be interesting. Great story by the way There are many characters in the story with each having different pov and perspectives in the story. we will see them one by one. writing quality - It good, the story telling is descriptive, different emotions are shown effectively. Didn't know you can laugh this much in one fighting scene before. Story development - slow in first few chapters but it draws you in that universe efficiently. Character design - Characters are well thought. We see different character's pov like in first two we see helena next we see Lais. World background - It's gives me guardian of galaxy vibes but only author can tell properly. (I am sometimes wrong). There is everthing in world deimons, guns, healing magic especially Lais (I might be fangirling over him). Keep up great work author. 😁👍
Very engaging story, once you start you dont want to stop at all. It also applies a very interesting take such as it's a modern and medieval like story at the same time. Mostly because most modern things arent that reliable in combat. Overall I definitely recommend this.
This is definitely a very good novel the writing quality is top notch and the novel is thrilling and engaging keep up the good work[img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]
Okay, I must confess this is the first wonderful (1st person) narration I have ever read here on WN. Highly descriptive, wonderfully blended war, sci fic and fantasy. It's more than what you want to read as a reference to improve your vocabulary, sentence structures and stuff. Although the beginning is kinda slow but I believe that's the demand of the storyline. Characters are seemingly great (gotta explore more about them) and the atmosphere of post apocalypse (I guess) is created with expertise. Though I'm glad I wasn't eating while reading it or the killing of Laton must've made me puke. (Blegh!) So vivid description.
Dynamic intro of the story ... an exciting and saturated fight, then the gifts of the people, the jokes of the victorious soldiers and Mission accomplished! Highlighting is the mix of firing bullets and then using a healing spell ... and the dose of camaraderie in the barracks without the intention of insobodination or rebellion ... evokes the complex but exciting adventure to read.
Enjoyable book, well done, It was a real pleasant read. Likeable MC , check Flowing Storyline, check Good grammer and sentence structure, check Keep up the good work.
Reading the first 6 chapters, I really like the premises and the start of the story, I am already attracted to the MC and the characters, although it was a bit slow from the start, it gives you enough to know about the world. Overall, I like it and I think it is very great.
Great book, really enjoyed reading. MC is likeable and descriptions are innovative. The world background is creative and imaginative. The flow of the story is great, keep up the great work author!
I like the vibe of the story. really great plot and well written setting. [img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]. Great overall.
The story is slow burn.. Yes, there are multiple missions and all, however , over time, the story, character development , and action all take their time. so, before you start, know as much. On the other hand, there are plenty of chapters already posted, enough for the story to reach a meaningful end. Written language is excellent - compared to the usual standard of web novel, it does not loose any where. Try it once. It just might be your cup of tea.
Hey there to all of you who are reading this work 😊.I hope you're all keeping the imagination alive!! I've already finished posting one complete arc and I hope it didn't disappoint (too much). I hope you all enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing it .If y'all have any areas to point out, feel free to share! Anyway, now that one arc is already finished, I figured it's time I slow down on the postings (don't wanna run out of chapters too soon). From now on I'll be updating chapters TThS. Look forward to the next arcs. I have plenty of ideas in store for you kind readers.

I'd like to remind that this is entirely my own opinion and only based upon everything up to chapter 22. Writing Quality: The only noticeable mistakes are definitely caused by auto correct. Everything is high quality, good descriptions, emotional display and fight scenes. Story Development: It's a relatively slow start, unusual to most novels here, but it shows the quality. This is a book, not a novel. Each chapter is long, but it keeps your attention. You take yourself better enough time, just stopping in the middle of a chapter is seemingly impossible. Character Design: There are multiple perspectives shown, with each character being fleshed out and given understandable motivations and goals. There is a sense of mystery surrounding them, you will want to know more about how they became the way they are. Update stability: What's to say? The writer does still write, so good. I guess... World Background: Is it Earth? Honestly I don't know, frequent popculture references seem to suggest so. But it might just serve to make in universe references relatable. There are no real exposition dumps, most is woven into the story in a natural way. It's an interesting world, I want to know more about it. Summary: I'd like to go to a bookstore and buy it right know. Although that isn't really necessary since there are still so much chapters to read. Give it a try, might just be as enjoyable to you as to me.
