Chapter 40: let them do their work
In Okabi Royal Palace, Polin is being transferred to the Infinity Prison, and King Zarius is silently watching. Master Gareth and Conor stand beside King Zarius. Conor says obediently, as always, "My lord, just say the word, and I will wipe out those keepers of the royal constitution in an instant."
King Zarius responds with a cold voice, "Calm down, Grand General. They are just doing their job."
Concerned, Master Gareth says, "But your Majesty..."
King Zarius interrupts, stating, "Let them do their work... For now."
On the other side, in the jungle, Costa is looking at Inaki, saying, "If you want something, you should work for it. Crying will not get you anywhere, boy."
Inaki snorts at Costa, saying, "Stop lecturing; you know nothing about me."
Costa replies calmly, "That may be true, but you see my words are fit for any kinds of problems."
Inaki is curious, asking, "Who the heck are you?"
Costa jumps off the tree, coming right before Inaki. Inaki takes some steps backward. Then Costa says, "It does not matter who I am or who you are. All that matters is what we do and what we can do. Tell me, boy, what can you do?"
Inaki looks downward, saying sadly, "I can do nothing."
Costa puts his hands on Inaki's head, saying, "I will not ask you who you are until you can answer me what you can do."
Inaki asks curiously, "Why do you want to help me?"
Costa looks upward, saying with a calm voice, "This is something personal. But I will answer you once you are able to answer my question. Let me ask you one thing first, what do you want?"
Inaki starts crying, saying with an angry voice, trying to be calm, "I want to be strong, very very strong."
Costa says with a calm voice, "You have to work hard to make that wish a reality."
Inaki says, "I am willing to do anything."
Costa says, "Very well then." Inaki and Costa stand in front of each other as the sun goes down, bringing a new day.
On the other side, in the Woodenpool medical block, Lenin is sitting in his bed surrounded by other students. Lenin looks at Liya and asks, "How did Sir George find me?"
Liya points at Orni, saying, "Thanks to our class rep. She risked her life to track you down."
Orni turns red like a tomato.
Sharia says, "Yeah, she can track down living things."
Lenin is curious, asking, "Risked her life?"
Sharia then says, "Turns out she cannot track down pests, so she had to track down that guy, which caused her to almost die."
Lenin is shocked, saying, "What?"
The next moment, Liya whispers in Lenin's ear, "Maybe you should thank her by giving her some flowers."
Orni is extremely embarrassed and says, "I just did what I had to do as the class rep; it's nothing special, really."
Lenin remains silent for a while. All of a sudden, the old lady appears, saying, "Welcome back, Lenin."
Lenin asks the old lady, "How are they?"
The old lady says, "You mean the rescue squad? They are fine. How are you?"
