Hao Ren and the rest went into the deeper parts of Coldfrost Citadel under Claude's guidance. Along the way, Claude started to explain the changes the demon hunters had undergone after Hao Ren and the rest left.

So the holy sanctum's facilities are still intact, but the energy locus had shut down and there are many massive spell blasts, so Coldpath is littered with the remnants of energy fields and arcane pollution. It's not fit for habitation now and getting rid of those takes time."
