Chapter 13: System, Give Me a Jackpot of Coins! 10x Draw!
---
By avenging the Uchiha, the emotional fluctuations stirred within the residual consciousness of this body's original owner pushed the Sharingan from the two-tomoe state to evolve into the three-tomoe form.
With the evolution of the Sharingan, the user's overall power also received a simultaneous boost.
Both physical attributes and chakra levels saw significant improvements, particularly in dynamic vision. This allowed Uchiha Yi to more easily track high-speed movements and respond effectively.
After all, the ninja profession relies heavily on tactics such as calculations, ambushes, assassinations, rapid strikes, traps, and poison.
If your eyes can't keep up with the enemy's movements or sense surrounding dangers, even the strongest abilities won't save you.
A simple kunai could kill even a mortal body like the God of Shinobi, Senju Hashirama.
Feeling the changes brought by the three-tomoe Sharingan made Uchiha Yi excited about the prospect of awakening the even more powerful Mangekyou Sharingan.
At this point, even if he was a rookie ninja, his raw strength wouldn't lose out to an average Jounin.
Once he improved his combat awareness, techniques, and physical stats, combined with the abilities granted by the Fire Release System, he could definitely step into the top tier of the ninja world.
The success of this revenge operation perfectly validated his theory about the Sharingan's evolution.
Without this, as an outsider, there's no way he could have casually killed someone and advanced from an unawakened state to the three-tomoe Sharingan so easily in such a short time.
However, advancing further to the Mangekyou Sharingan wouldn't be so simple.
Next, he needed to make those involved in the Uchiha massacre pay a heavy price. But how high should that price be?
If revenge was truly the goal, Uchiha Yi would have to carefully plan his approach.
He didn't plan to do this alone—it would be best to gather some allies.
And among those most hostile to Konoha, the members of the Akatsuki organization are probably the ones who've suffered the most.
With this plan in mind, after finishing his business, Uchiha Yi used the Fire Movement Technique to leave Konoha.
Before leaving, though, he decided to draw from the system again to bolster his abilities, enhancing his combat diversity.
Currently, he possessed skills like the Clone Jutsu, Shadow Clone Jutsu, and Great Fireball Technique.
From the system's draws, he had already obtained fire-release abilities such as Fire Movement Technique, Amaterasu, Ryujin Jakka (sealed), Flame-Flame Fruit, Will of Fire, and Devouring Flame.
While these abilities were powerful, the place he was heading to—Amegakure or the Akatsuki's base—was no less than a dragon's lair.
This meant his current skills weren't enough to guarantee safety. He needed to strengthen himself further and expand his arsenal.
"System, give me a jackpot of coins!"
"10x Draw!"
He immediately went for a 10x draw, spending 100 soul points and leaving himself with 904, causing a pang of heartache.
Focusing intently on the virtual screen, he soon saw the results.
A row of skill information appeared before his eyes:
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Fiery Eyes!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Repelling Fire Ring!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Scorching Breath!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Uchiha Flame Formation!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Fireball!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Ignite!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Fire Release: Flame Bullet!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Great Eruption!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Sunfire Cape!"
"Congratulations! You've drawn the fire-release skill Flame-Flame Fruit! (Duplicate ability, level +1)"
"Wow!"
Seeing the screen filled with fire-release skills, Uchiha Yi couldn't help but marvel.
Who would've thought there were so many fire-release techniques?
Taking a deep breath, he quickly opened the skill descriptions to learn more.
Some abilities, like Uchiha Flame Formation and Fire Release: Flame Bullet, were techniques he was already familiar with, so he didn't bother spending time on them. These types of fire-release skills could even be copied with the Sharingan, so they didn't hold much novelty.
Instead, he turned to the first skill, Fiery Eyes.
Could it be that legendary ability?
With high expectations, he clicked on it—and was thrilled by what he saw.
---
Fire-Release Skill: Fiery Eyes
Description: This fire-release ability originates from the world of Journey to the West, granted to Sun Wukong through the smoke and flames of Laozi's alchemy furnace.
Currently, it provides the ability to see through illusions and discern truth from falsehood.
Note: Upgrading this skill unlocks additional capabilities.
---
"This is fantastic! This skill couldn't have come at a better time!"
As someone new to the ninja world, Uchiha Yi—or even this body's original owner—knew next to nothing about illusions.
He didn't even know how to dispel a genjutsu.
Since he hadn't had the chance to study this systematically, Uchiha Yi was particularly wary of genjutsu users.
Even with his newly awakened three-tomoe Sharingan, it only offered resistance to basic genjutsu.
Against higher-level illusions, like those from Uchiha Itachi, he'd likely be taken down instantly.
But now, with the Fiery Eyes, his worries about illusions were significantly eased.
He decided to test its limits later—could it resist Mangekyou-level genjutsu?
He glanced at the upgrade cost for Fiery Eyes: 100 soul points.
"Too expensive! Let's check the other skills first."
---
Fire-Release Skill: Repelling Fire Ring
Description: A defensive magic skill primarily used to prevent close-range attacks.
When activated, a ring of fire expands outward from the user, pushing back any nearby targets within a 10-meter radius.
---
"This is a pretty solid defensive skill!"
It's somewhat similar to the Deva Path Pain's Shinra Tensei, though this one only has a horizontal effect rather than being omnidirectional.
If an enemy were to attack from above or underground, the Repelling Fire Ring would be ineffective.
Overall, though, it's still decent.
---
Fire-Release Skill: Scorching Breath
Description: This skill comes from League of Legends, specifically from Shyvana's ultimate ability.
The user breathes out a ball of flame, which explodes upon impact or after traveling a certain distance, dealing additional damage and leaving behind a burning area for a short duration.
---
Fire-Release Skill: Fireball
Description: A basic mage skill that creates a condensed ball of fire to attack enemies.
Its low chakra consumption makes it highly efficient.
---
Fire-Release Skill: Ignite
Description: A summoner spell from League of Legends.
Locks onto a target and causes them to burn for 10 seconds, dealing continuous damage that cannot be removed by any means. The flame's temperature reaches 100°C.
Note: Upgrading this skill can increase the burn temperature or duration.
---
Fire-Release Skill: Great Eruption
Description: Derived from the One Piece world, this is one of the magma-based techniques used by Admiral Akainu.
The user's arm transforms into a massive lava fist, simulating the explosive force of a volcanic eruption as it is launched toward the target. Its destructive power is immense, capable of shattering a mountain of ice.
---
Fire-Release Skill: Sunfire Cape
Description: Inspired by an item from League of Legends.
This skill manifests as armor forged from fire, offering excellent defense while continuously burning nearby enemies.
---
Lastly, the Flame-Flame Fruit appeared once more. Upon closer inspection, Uchiha Yi noticed something extraordinary.
---
Flame-Flame Fruit: Awakening Progress [10%]!
---
"Awakening progress!"
Seeing this, Uchiha Yi felt another wave of excitement. His eyes drifted toward the small "+" icon next to the Flame-Flame Fruit skill.
If leveling up this ability increased awakening progress by 10% each time, he was tempted to invest everything into fully awakening it.
But after careful consideration, he hesitated.
---
"Enhancing the Flame-Flame Fruit requires 100 soul points per level."
---
In other words, the remaining 900 points in his balance would need to be entirely spent to achieve a full awakening.
After weighing the pros and cons, Uchiha Yi decided against it.
Although an awakened fruit ability would bring exponential power, it was clear he lacked the physical strength required to fully utilize it.
Without a powerful body, even an awakened ability would be wasted.
For example, the sword Ryujin Jakka at his waist was currently just an ordinary weapon in his hands because he couldn't yet wield its true power.
---
After reviewing all the newly acquired skills, Uchiha Yi felt very satisfied with his haul.
He now had:
Top-tier support skill: Fiery Eyes.
Defensive skills: Repelling Fire Ring, Sunfire Cape, Uchiha Flame Formation.
Offensive skills: Great Eruption, Fireball, Scorching Breath, Ignite, and Fire Release: Flame Bullet.
This round of draws had significantly diversified his abilities.
Confidently prepared, Uchiha Yi now felt much more assured about his upcoming journey to Amegakure.

Chapter 14: Arrival at Amegakure, Uchiha Itachi Receives a Warning!
---
Even though the instigator had left, the chaos in Konoha continued to escalate, spreading its influence far and wide.
Of course, this was no longer Uchiha Yi's concern.
On the Shinobi World's map, the Land of Rain is located northwest of the Land of Fire, sandwiched between three great nations: the Land of Wind, the Land of Earth, and the Land of Fire.
Whenever a war broke out among the three great nations, it was always this small nation caught in the middle that suffered the most.
With no strength to protect itself, such a nation could only be reduced to a tragic casualty of war.
Using the Fire-Release Spatial Leap, Uchiha Yi quickly traversed the distance. After a few minutes, a faint flicker of fire in an unremarkable corner of Amegakure suddenly flared up.
Moments later, a figure emerged from the flame—it was Uchiha Yi!
The skies over Amegakure were shrouded in thick clouds, and a constant drizzle of rain fell unrelentingly.
"Damn it, I completely forgot about this horrible weather in the Land of Rain!"
Arriving in a rush, he hadn't prepared for the rain, leaving Uchiha Yi drenched shortly after appearing in Amegakure. Annoyed, he muttered a few complaints under his breath.
"Forget it, I should focus on finding the Akatsuki."
Though he knew Amegakure was the Akatsuki's base, he had no clue where exactly it was hidden.
He had no intention of searching every corner, so the quickest and most efficient solution was to make them come to him instead.
With this in mind, Uchiha Yi put on his mask and began strolling boldly down the streets. Occasionally, he paused to gaze curiously at the towering steel structures that resembled the industrialized world of a bygone era.
Amidst the rain, the locals hurried by in raincoats, paying little attention to their surroundings. In stark contrast, Uchiha Yi leisurely wandered through the streets, attracting quite a bit of attention.
It wasn't long before his conspicuous behavior raised suspicion, prompting some locals to secretly report his presence to the ninja leaders or even "Angel-sama."
Uchiha Yi, however, remained entirely indifferent to the unfolding situation.
---
Meanwhile, in a cave not far from Amegakure.
After several days of travel, Konoha's rogue ninja, Uchiha Itachi, had arrived at the location indicated by the masked man.
Confirming that this was the place, Uchiha Itachi stepped forward, his steady footsteps echoing in the silent, cavernous space.
"Pain, someone's approaching!"
"It's an unfamiliar ninja!"
Inside the cave, a blue-haired woman furrowed her brow and quickly folded a paper blade infused with chakra, readying herself for combat.
"Relax, he's someone I specifically recruited for the Akatsuki—a rogue ninja from Konoha, Uchiha Itachi."
At that moment, the space before them rippled, and a man wearing a spiraling mask appeared before the two of them, offering an explanation.
Shortly after, another figure emerged from the ground—a black-and-white figure, the Akatsuki's informant, Zetsu.
Hearing this, Pain nodded expressionlessly and directed his gaze toward the cave entrance. Meanwhile, the blue-haired woman, Konan, remained cautious.
Not long after, Uchiha Itachi stepped into the cave, immediately spotting the "familiar face" of the masked man, Uchiha Obito. However, he showed no intention of engaging him and instead shifted his gaze to the man seated in the lead position.
"The Rinnegan!?"
"The legendary eyes of the Sage!?"
Seeing the distinctive concentric circles of the Rinnegan, Uchiha Itachi's pupils contracted slightly, and a surge of shock coursed through him. This was far beyond his expectations.
However, he quickly calmed himself.
Uchiha Madara, a man with the Rinnegan, and a gathering of rogue ninjas from various nations—this Akatsuki organization wasn't as simple as a mercenary group.
With such a powerful collection of individuals, they could easily topple smaller nations, and even the great nations wouldn't be able to ignore them.
Uchiha Itachi had no illusions about their true motives.
His agreement to join the Akatsuki had always been part of his plan to infiltrate and serve as a spy.
Now, after witnessing just a glimpse of the Akatsuki's true power, his resolve to carry out his mission only deepened.
He then explained his intentions to Pain.
"Uchiha Itachi, I don't care what you've done in Konoha to become a rogue ninja."
"But if you join the Akatsuki, betrayal will not be tolerated under any circumstances!"
"Otherwise…"
By now, Uchiha Itachi's reputation had spread across the ninja world, and Pain was well aware of his capabilities. However, Pain didn't care about the details. What he needed were strong ninjas who could carry out missions and contribute to the Akatsuki's goals.
Still, a warning was necessary.
Yet, before Pain could finish his sentence, he suddenly sensed something through his Rain Tiger at Will Technique, which monitored the entire Amegakure.
His words abruptly stopped.
"What is it, Pain?"
Having spent years alongside Pain, Konan immediately noticed the change in his demeanor and asked with concern.
"Nothing."
"Just a small insect that managed to sneak into the village."
"I'll send the Asura Path to deal with it."
With that, Pain shifted his focus to one of the high towers in Amegakure, where his six bodies were stored.
Through the black rods connecting them, he commanded the Asura Path to head toward Uchiha Yi's location.
