Chapter 46: Ch.45: Diplomatic mission to US

________________________________________________________________________________

Germany, April 10, 1943

The cold air of Germany bit at Aryan's face as he and his team disembarked from their covert aircraft. Shakti, Varshika, Karna, Rudra, and a select group of KAVACH operatives moved swiftly, their mission clear and urgent. The Romani people needed their help, and time was of the essence.

The team navigated through the dense forests and hidden paths, guided by intelligence reports and local resistance fighters. The first Romani camp they reached was a somber sight—families huddled together, their faces etched with fear and uncertainty. Aryan's heart ached at the sight, but he steeled himself, knowing that their rescue was imminent.

Shakti and Varshika moved among the Romani, offering words of comfort and assurance. Karna coordinated with the resistance fighters, ensuring that the escape routes were secure. Rudra, ever vigilant, kept watch for any signs of enemy patrols.

"Stay close and follow our lead," Aryan instructed the Romani families. "We will get you to safety."

Various Locations, April 15-30, 1943

Over the next few weeks, Aryan and his team traveled across Europe, establishing hidden bases of KAVACH in strategic locations. These bases would serve as hubs for intelligence gathering, training, and coordination with resistance movements. He also planned to recruit some of the metahumans who were hiding among the local people for his own cause.

In France, they set up a base in the heart of the countryside, working closely while undercover with the French Resistance. In Italy, they established a covert operation center in the mountains, providing support to local partisans. In Poland, they coordinated with underground networks to disrupt enemy supply lines and gather crucial intelligence.

Everywhere they went, the reputation of Bharat and Aryan's leadership spread. The world took notice of their efforts, and soon, an invitation arrived from America.

Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, April 30, 1943

Aryan materialized in his office at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the familiar surroundings a stark contrast to the war-torn landscapes he had just left. The weight of his responsibilities settled on his shoulders as he sat down, the paperwork awaiting his attention a reminder of the ongoing struggle.

A polite knock on the door broke his concentration. "Come in," Aryan called out.

Ravi, his Chief of Staff, entered with a respectful nod. "Sir, I have important news," he began. "The United States has officially invited you to visit. Their President wishes to discuss recent events and explore ways to strengthen the relationship between our nations."

Aryan leaned back in his chair, considering the implications. "Thank you, Ravi. Please arrange a meeting with the key cabinet ministers. We need to discuss this invitation and our next steps."

"Right away, Sir," Ravi replied, leaving the room to carry out the orders.

As Aryan turned back to his desk, his thoughts drifted to the agents of KAVACH he had left behind in Europe. Their mission was far from over, and neither was his. The path ahead was fraught with challenges, but with determination and unity, they would prevail.

Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, May 1, 1943

The meeting with the key cabinet ministers was intense and thorough. Aryan, along with the Foreign Affairs Minister and the National Security Advisor, discussed Bharat's stance in the ongoing war and the strategic importance of strengthening ties with the United States. The key points for the diplomatic mission were clear:

- Military Cooperation: Exploring avenues for joint operations and intelligence sharing to combat common threats.

- Economic Support: Discussing potential aid and trade agreements to bolster Bharat's economy during the war.

- Technological Exchange: Collaborating on advancements in technology (not including magitech) and other innovations to enhance both nations' capabilities.

- Humanitarian Efforts: Coordinating relief efforts for war-affected regions and supporting displaced populations.

Bhagat Singh International Airport, New Delhi, May 6, 1943

Aryan, accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister, the NSA, and a team of diplomats, arrived at the airport. The plane, a marvel of engineering and magi-tech, stood ready. Designed by Aryan and built by Yadav Industries in collaboration with the Tata Group, it was a symbol of Bharat's ingenuity and resilience.

The aircraft, inspired by the American President's Air Force One, was equipped with the highest grade advanced magi-tech, discreetly integrated to maintain a conventional appearance. As they boarded, Aryan felt a mix of anticipation and resolve.

The j'urney'was smooth, the plane's advanced systems ensuring comfort and security. Aryan and his team used the time to review their strategies and refine their talking points. The atmosphere was one of focused determination, each member aware of the mission's significance.

**Washington D.C., May 6, 1943**

Upon arrival at the airport in Washington D.C., Aryan and his delegation were greeted with a warm and respectful welcome. The American officials, aware of Bharat's growing influence and Aryan's leadership, extended their hospitality with genuine admiration, although there were some officials among them who had reservations about metahumans but they hid them well, which obviously was noticed by Aryan but he ignored it.

The White House, Washington D.C., May 6, 1943

Aryan stepped out of the car, his eyes taking in the grandeur of the White House. The American flag fluttered in the breeze, a symbol of the nation's strength and resilience. As he approached the entrance, President Franklin D. Roosevelt awaited him, a warm smile on his face.

"President Aryan, welcome to the United States," Roosevelt greeted, extending his hand.

"Thank you, President Roosevelt. It's an honor to be here," Aryan replied, shaking his hand firmly.

Roosevelt's eyes twinkled with genuine interest. "I've heard much about your efforts. We finally have a face-to-face meeting at last. I hope that this meeting will be a new chapter for our two nations."

Aryan nodded appreciatively. "I appreciate the warm welcome, Mr. President, and yes, I too hope for the same."

As they walked together into the White House, the atmosphere was one of mutual respect and anticipation. The two leaders exchanged pleasantries, discussing the challenges their nations faced and the importance of their alliance.

"Please, have a seat," Roosevelt gestured to a comfortable seating area. "We have much to discuss."

Aryan took his seat, his mind focused on the critical topics at hand. "Indeed, Mr. President. Our collaboration can pave the way for a stronger, more resilient future."

Roosevelt leaned forward, his expression serious yet hopeful. "Let's begin with military cooperation. Our joint efforts can significantly impact the war's outcome."

"We should conduct a joint operation between the Howling Commandos and Bharat's specialized team targeting the key Hydra and Nazi bases."

Aryan nodded, sensing the implications and hidden motives of Americans to use the firepower of Bharatiya metahumans to completely bring the war in favor of the Allies. He responded, "Hmm, this joint operation has good potential. We should discuss it more deeply so that it remains within both our nation's interests."

He agreed on this as long as it brings benefits for him, it gives opportunity for his KAVACH agents to gain more experience and opportunities in their covert operations. Also, cooperation with the Howling Commandos will bring the much-needed influence for their own cause.

They then began outlining the potential strategies and intelligence-sharing mechanisms. The conversation flowed seamlessly, each leader contributing valuable insights and ideas.

As the meeting progressed, they delved into economic support, technological exchange, and humanitarian efforts. The synergy between them was palpable, a testament to their shared vision and determination.

By the end of the discussion, both leaders felt a renewed sense of purpose. The foundation for a robust partnership had been laid, promising a brighter future for their nations and the world.
