Chapter 23: Locked

"W-what...locked what does that mean?" Virgil asked

{...}

"Can you not speak of this?" Virgil asked concerned

"...I see. I don't like that fact things are being hidden from me but I already have enough problems to worry about," Virgil sighed forcing his question aside

{Thank you for understanding}

"I guess but one more pressing matter. That coma has pushed me back and will cause a lot of problems I don't feel like dealing with," Virgil sighed

{What do you plan to do?}

"Well, I need to speed things up. My plans for the future need to be pushed forward,"

{What about Raven and her father?}

"Yes... the army I wanted to slowly build has to be slightly rushed now. But with the shop points I will be able to get it done," Virgil said slowly standing up

Walking up to the door he opened it up and was surprised when he bumped into Melody who fell back to the floor.

"What the hell who is..."

Before she could finish speaking she looked up to see Virgil who was awake.

"V-VIRGIL!" Melody yelled jumping up and hugging him tightly

"Hey kid I'm glad to see you're doing well," Virgil laughed

"Y-you're okay...we thought we lost you," Melody cried

"Don't worry didn't I tell you I wouldn't be going anywhere," Virgil said rubbing her head

"Wait I have to tell the other to hurry up," Melody said grabbing Virgil's arm and pulling him through the hall

"Slow down Melody we don't have to run," Virgil said being dragged along

After a few moments, they burst through a pair of golden doors into a dining room where the Belmont and Alucard were having breakfast.

Hearing the doors suddenly open they all looked over to Meldoy who had a large smile on her face standing next to Virgil who had a small smile on his face.

"Virgil you're awake thank god," Alexander said shooting up and walking up to him

"You had us so worried we are glad you are okay," Malisa said with a warm smile

"I was worried that you would never wake up I'm glad I was wrong," Alucard said placing a hand on his shoulder

"Please come sit down and eat you must be hungry," Alexander said pointing at the seat next to him

"These are our other children. Christopher the oldest he just turned 25, Annabelle the oldest girl who is twenty-two, and Stephen our youngest he turns ten in a month, Our twins are currently out of the country for work" Alexander said pointing at each child

"I heard you saved our sister at a heavy cost I would like to thank you," Christopher said with a small bow

"Yes I was always worried that she would suffer her whole life thank you," Annabelle added

"I heard you can use fire magic can you show me," Stephen said with a curious look on his face

"Stephen be polite he was the man that saved your sister," Malisa said pulling Stephens's ear

"OW!... Fine thank you mister for saving big sis Mel," Stephen said

"No problem and it's a pleasure to meet all of you," Virgil replied taking a seat

"So how are you feeling anything we can do to help you?" Alucard asked

"Well I'm fine I won't be at full strength for a while as I recover but nothing serious with my health. Also, I'm guessing people asked you about my whereabouts thank you for not telling anyone," Virgil thanked

"It's no problem we assumed that if you wanted people to know about our deal they would have shown up much sooner," Alexander replied

"Alright well we have to talk about something that will change our business plans," Virgils aid his tone getting serious

"What happened?" Christopher asked

"..."

"Don't worry all my children know about our business. Christopher trains most of our new recruits while Annabelle handles medical and knowledge training. While Sethpen may not seem like it, is a magical genius. His magical skills are the best in our family," Malisa explained

"I see. Very well the truth is that I'm planning for events that will determine whether millions will live or die," Virgil said

"W-what do you mean?" Alexander asked concerned

"Well first will be the rise of the demon god Trigon. In two months he will descend on earth and I need to kill him," Virgil spoke

"Trigon...I have heard that name before but how do you know this?" Alucard asked

"Don't worry I have a way to deal with that but there will be a lot of events that I can't stop as I am what I need is for your people to work on this," Virgil said pulling out the nanotech blueprint and magic gun blueprint

"Spacial magic that is incredibly rare. I didn't know you had something like this," Alucard said surprised

"I need these developed as soon as possible but not with normal metals. Contact Dayton Industries and work with them to get a metal called Promethium. It will allow your soldiers to fight beyond anything they could have imagined but that will only be a substitute for the real treasures we will gain later," Virgil explained

"I see but tell me who do you know this?" Alexander asked

"That is something I can't explain to you. But for now please focus on getting these items and find a boy named Timothy Hunter he is crucial. No matter what you have to offer him tell him I need to meet with him, He should be in England right now" Virgil continued

"If he is England I should be able to find him easily so leave that to me," Alucard said

"Virgil before we continue I need to ask you something," Alexander asked

"Go ahead,"

"These events tell us the truth how bad will it get and how many will we face?"

"These events will determine if reality will remain or not, and if my info is right we will face dozens and that's of things that you can help me with there are others I will have to face alone," Virgil said with a serious expression

[A/N: Each event will probably be around ten to fifteen chapters some may last longer. If you want certain events to be talked about please comment. The one that most people agree on will be covered]

Chapter 24: Beginning Training

"Alright, we know what we must do but what will you do?" Alucard asked

"I have to train. I haven't used my body in a month and I can feel myself getting weaker," Virgil replied finishing his food

"Alright then you can train with Christopher to learn our fighting style, he is a martial prodigy," Alexander replied

"Alright then I will be in your care," Virgil said standing up

"I will do my best not to disappoint," Christopher followed

Leaving the dining room Virgil followed behind Christopher as they made their way around the estate.

"Alright before we start training I need to know what kind of combat you are looking for. Do you want to fight with your hands or weapons and what kind of weapon?" Christopher asked

"I want to fight using weapons and I already have three in mind," Virgil replied

"Three? Most people start with one maybe two if they have some experience but learning to fight with three weapons is not recommended," Christopher said surprised at Virgil's answer

"I know but I chose the three weapons that will work best with my magic and allow me to increase its lethality," Virgil added

"I see alright what weapons are you thinking of using?"

"Chains, a set of daggers, and a long sword," Virgil listed

"Woah those weapons are completely different from each other and require years of training for each, and using them together is not an easy task. May I ask why those three?"

 Christopher added

"First the chain will be used to hold down enemies. I plan to use my magic to make chains that I can summon during a fight but if push comes to shove I will use them as weapons. Second I plan to have a set of six daggers each will be controlled with mana and coated with elemental magic allowing me to counter other magic, also it will allow distance attacks from multiple directions. Lastly, the long sword is a close-range weapon that will allow me to deal close-range damage in case I run out of mana during a fight," Virgil explained as they arrived at the training room

"I see. It seems you thought all of this out, then I will do everything in my power to help you," Christopher said with a determining look

"But before we start I need to ask you. Why are you really here? You don't strike me as the world savior type so tell me what you truly want," Christopher said with a serious expression

"...Truth I want to survive. I was through into this world and wanted to survive. Weather you believe me is up to you but I want to live through these event; and if I can save people while I do it then why not," Virgil replied with a sigh

"...Alright...I will do what I can to help you,"

"Thank you," Virgil replied

"Also how long do you plan to stay here I know that that team of yours won't just stop looking for you, and this pale girl with a purple robe seemed to lose hope at the fact we said you weren't here," Chris added

"Yes, I know...I will probably only be here for two weeks before I leave. I need to have basic mastery over these weapons before I think about the first hurdle," Virgil sighed

"Two weeks that's not a lot of time for me to work with but that means we will have to work twice as hard," Chris said a little shocked

With the game plan made by Chris, the two began body conditioning to warm up. They started with a five-mile run, 100 push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and fifth pull-ups.

(I guess even with my stats cut in half I'm still able to handle this well) Virgil sighed wiping the sweat from his forehead

"Now we will start with your sword training. It will be the easiest and the one that will help you the most," Chris said walking over to the weapons rack

Grabbing two wooden swords he handed one to Virgil and stood a few meters from him.

"We will start with a light spar I would like to see how high your combat knowledge is," Chris explained

"Alright let's not waste any more time then," Virgil said clenching his sword

Taking a deep breath Virgil looked up at Chris but to his surprise, Chris had already closed the five-meter distance and his blade was a few inches from his neck.

Holding his blade up he barely blocked the attack as it grazed his hair.

"Never close your eyes in a fight even in a spar," Chris said launching a volley of attacks from each direction

Thanks to his stats still being higher than a normal person he was able to block some of the attacks but most of them made contact with his shoulder waist and thighs.

{It seems like the host looked down on this child. Even though he seems human he is the blood of Belmont in him. Gauging him his stats are probably at least 50 for his physical abilities} Sabastian said

(Yeah I kind of guessed," Virgil said jumping back to create some distance

But to his surprise, his back hit a wall and Chris only got closer.

"Make sure to watch your surroundings or you will lose your life," Chris said pointing his blade at Virgil's neck

"Alright, you did better than I thought. You were able to block fifteen out of the fourth hist that better than most. You seemed to underestimate me because I'm a regular human but don't forget even the smallest animal can kill a predator if it knows what it's doing," Chris said

"Yeah I won't be doing that again you are much stronger than I expected," Virgil sighed dropping his sword

"Alright you will start with 10,000 vertical sword slashes, then 1,000 thrusts, and then you will repeat our conditions before doing it again. After that, you will eat all the food provided by the chef which will help your body develop the fastest. Lastly, before you sleep you will study the Ten Fang technique of the Baskerville family," Chris pointed out handing Virgil a pitch-black book with an image of a dog with glowing red eyes

"The Baskerville family?" Virgil asked grabbing the book

"Yes in return for saving the only hire, we received this book as a gift. From what I can tell it will work the best for you," Chris added

"Well I guess I should have expected this" Virgil sighed
