As morning came over the megacity, Avery and her platoon sat around a new planning table in their cramped safehouse. The air was filled with pressure and excitement. 

"All right, let's go over it one more time," Avery replied, her voice firm despite the butterflies in her gut." Koslowski's job is our ticket to hit the Guardians where they hurt. But more significantly, it brings us closer to that vault." 

Lucas jumped, his eyes gleaming with resolve."I have devised a counterplot against the security systems. It will not be simple, but with Avery's particular bents, we may just pull it off." 

Damien leaned forward, his face gloomy."What about the Puppet Master?" He is bound to act shortly."
